ddr2 2.50 gigs of ram

ati x1950pro 256 video card

Game runs great usally run on balanced.

Office computer/back up average fps 15-20 in town 25+ outside.  This computer is mostly used for tradeskills and/or harvesting.  I run it on high performace.

2.80 ghz duel core intel pentium d

So it just depeneds upon what you want to do and how much money your willing to spend for the upgrades for the performance you want.

Horizons is the one checking I'm out now and think I'll stay with.  The interface was easy to learn.  They have a newbie channel that people are even on to help out.  I met alot of people who were nice enough to help a noob out.

Crafting is interesting.  So I think I found a new home for a while at least.  I'm on the chaos server name is ciyisa if anyone wants to check the game out send a tell i'll help you  learn the ropes  lol or help with what I know so far.

Well I think I found the one i'm going to be playing until AoC comes out.  Horizons none of you  guys even said anything about it.  It's really very very cute,  all the classes are there can level to 100 great crafting.  I even had people help me out right away.  Not run around mindlessly for a while.  Interface was easy to learn.  And there is a 14day free trial.  I was on eq2 vox server.   So this is a nice break from it.

NexusTK has a fairly good crafting system. You can be a weaver, tailor, smelter, smith, gemcutter, jeweler, carpetner. Then theres the gathering, woodcutter, miner. When I Played nexustk. I was a gemcutter, you would get ambers, white ambers, yellow ambers, dark ambers and make jewels, which as a jeweler you could make rings and stuff.

This is the first time i've heard about Nexus.  Lots of great games to look into.  Thanks for all the advise.

Theres one MMORPG that has a crafting system that is far and away better then any other in the genre. It's so far better that poeple have spent years doing NOTHING else but crafting in the game. I did myself. Crafting is varied and interesting, though there is a big grind to it, it's easy to get a name for youself, make things that can be semi unique. Have a shop, advertise, get a customer base, loads of fun.

However, the rest of the game bites now. Well, some like it, but almost all of those who played it before a recent big change, dont like it anymore. Especially because most of the non-combat stuff was pushed significantly to the backburner, seamingly all but forgotten by the developers.

I'm speaking of course.. of Star Wars Galaxies.

There is one MMOG that is free to play that has perhaps the most complex crafting system seen in any mmog. Granted it is hands down the most complex MMOG you'll probably ever play. It's Anarchy Online. However in that game the crafting is more of a side thing to the rest of the game and there is actually an increadible ammount of loot in the game as well. THough a lot of the loot is craft based and some of the best items are crafted. It might be worth getting a Froob account to try out. If you want to focus on crafting, I suggest going Engineer, Metaphysicist, perhaps Doctor or Fixer. Though dont try Meta or Engi as a first character, far to complex.

lol trying to work on that one right now : ) getting stuck on a quest and of course hate being a noob.

First trying to make an account  for (Saga of Ryzom) no luck couldn't even make one in the forums unless I want to pay for it.  Well, not going to do that until I try it.  So need some help with trying to make an account for the download to get the client key.

Well, I played eq2 since it was released and I hate the new crafting system.  You can't make any money out of it anymore so why bother.  But I love mmo's that have crafting.  I have one of those jobs that when it's slow and nothing is going on boss doesn't care if i play mmo's.  And that is when I do my crafting and harvesting.

So the hunt begins.  Any ideas or advise on were to go next.
