I'm sick of zones too. EQ2 let me down with that. Lineage2 was actually great! Aside the fact of botters.

I also H-A-T-E  instances. WoW is out and so is a couple others. Instances are weak. What's the point of being an MMORPG when you just instance all the time.

Ok, listen. It wasn't just the NGE, the CU made a lot of people quit. The NGE just made the rest quit.

CU + NGE = Failure+2

I was done after the CU because my whole damn guild quit. We were organized too and had a ventrilo server. I tried to come back but it just wasn't SWG anymore.

EDIT: They should have made a pre-cu pre-nge server. What they just tossed out all the files and the code? Give me a break, that's something a bunch of morons would do, I bet they still have it. If they released a classic server, even if everyone had to start from scratch, I guarantee they could almost be back in business. SWG was very very popular a few years ago, and it would definitely beat out even the newest MMOG's today.

neverwinter nights modules made me feel more lotr than this one.

um swg vets are like the million people that played it before pre-cu... what you think 50k - 100k new subscribers makes up for that? no.

you just see new faces because everyone quits after day 3. people give it a chance but it fails. my buddy even just tried it and quit after 3 days. lamo. and he isn't a vet.

I don't like some of the mechanics in this game either.

I.E. starting as whatever class you want without having to do anything to even earn it. Same for skills.

I hope the server crashes and has a roll back  xD
