Paske	EVE Online: At A Glance: EVE 14 Day Trial News Discussion « General Discussion 10/29/07 4:04:04 PM Been playing EVE for a while now and have to say that hardest part of EVE - is start ! Geting the right race, atributes, background - all of this is important when you first start. Then its the long haul to get lerarning skills up -wich is what generaly what kills most new players. But what comes after that is apsolutley great ! Especialy if you like PVP. Oh and - Ivy league - Alliance for new pilots. They will teach new pilots all there is to EVE and in a fun manner.

Game had so much promise and many hopes. It was suppose to be better then any other at game of launch. Rule of thimb is - gather youre expectecions, cut them in half and maybe you will get a realistic picture. Most unfortunatley that did not happend. When free month was over, so was Vanguard for me, Im sad to say. Use to fill forums with Vanguard info, waited untill that glorius day when it finaly came. Started playing and played a LOT at start - beliving it will get better as game progresses. I was wrong. Personaly - dont think this game will survive. With games like Conan, WAR and Gods coming out soon - its future is bleak at best. Playing EVE online ATM and waiting for Conan to come. But sure as hell aint gona be amongst first crowd to grab the game. To those still playing and waiting for Vanguard to become game it was suppose to be - best of luck.
