We both have the Sony Station Pass, and If we find the Matrix even a bit interesting to play, we would get a copy since we do have the pass

But I will not shell out 2x $20 for a game if I can not test it out

I pre-ordered and got my pretty little card. I carefully read the fine print. It informed me that it entitled me to some mount (yay...) and early access (the reason I bought it).

Now, the day it is supposed to go live, I am informed that I can not download nor play the game?

This game will flop. I'm sorry to say that because I was very optimistic and excited for it. I tried to be positive when everyone else was tearing it apart. This was the last straw.

Na,  AoC will do nothing to WoW, BUT I can tell you what can be a WoW killer

$200 for a barrel of oil by end of summer

forclosures up 300%

food prices up 100%

.........* shakes head * ....that is a Wow killer for me!

They put the pwnage on TR, and indirectly Richard Garriot it seems

I would hate to see what would happen if they owned/published games that still limp along here in the US

Then again, it is a buisness. I think it is good that NCsoft/Korea is harsh and does not sit idle and let games limp on and say they are going to get better and to keep playing! like some other companys do.

Does the game also show you how to be a lose all the weight you want without dieting or exercise and shows you how to make 40k in one month in your spare time?

There is and their isnt. EQ2's engine was built around a faulty assumption. SOE assumed processors and GPUs would simply get more powerful on single chips. Instead, CPUs and GPUs have gone multi-core and/or people are using the SLI/CF configs. EQ2 isn't optimized by any means for multi-core/multi-GPU platforms. Thus, someone like me who has a damned good machine with newer tech doesnt get the best possible gaming experience. That is a major fault and it honestly pisses me off a bit given their stance back at launch of "We want tech to catch up to our engine, which is why the game is so demanding", yet they havent done anything to remedy the fact that tech evolved differently than they first thought.

Back to topic, ....I have seen the beta for AoC. Funcom has money. If they want AoC to succed they will invest more $ into the game. If not, it will not get the subs they want.

Simple as that.

Meaningless? I don't know about you but I'd rather have my character model clean and looking good, for most this is a make or break issue in a game.

Some how we have never played this chapter in MMO history. We are currently kinda bored waitng on WAR and we love EQ2, but need a break from it for a while
