yup, $15 a month is plenty of revenue/profit for these guys. Breaking the $15 mark will just open the flood gate for all other games to charge more.

ya, I picked up a old issue of PC gamer out of my closet..almost a year  old to put in my recycle box and just flipped through it and the firtst thing it came to was a fold out advertising "Set yourself free" , " build the house of you dreams" and all that beatifull art work of the port city of Khal filled with peps and boats, also other nice art work

 I will never believe the hype again, I really wanted this game to be what it said it was going to be.

the concept was the game of my dreams.

Friend, If I was you I would order RoK from amazon and get the box. Maybe I am old fashioned, but when you buy the retail box, its Always cheaper then Dig. DL.

 Also you always get more stuff, like poster a nice little book to read and so on.

Anyhows, I really think you should retire and leave EQ2 to the more causal folk and play Final Fantasy 11, or Lineage 2.

Those games will definatley give you the challenge and time consumption you need. I would recomend FF11 though, just my prefernce.

Heck you might meet some nice Japanse people you can party with and learn some Japanese Language. Also FF11 has another expansion out very soon, if not already released.

Sadly, and I hate to say this, its really all about who you know. I have two friends who are in the beta for AoC and WAR and they got in becuase of who they knew in the loop. And even more sadly I don't think they playing/testing them much at all.

I too have been waiting several months on a beta invite, ....guess the average Joe don't have chance.

DAoC before the EA buyout we still had 60,000'ish for peak world wide logins (mythic shows the numbers on their website).

After the EA changes... we are lucky to hit 12,000... worldwide.

Not sure I'd worry about WAR doing much to WoW... if EA wasn't involved.. maybe.
