But to my first point, and i am in no way saying that cryptic was particularly proffesional in the way they handeld them self but if they get all pre-orders in before the 11 of december i would still considering it being them fullfilling their part of the deal as a month of beta testing is still quite alot. And it seems your court acts abit different from ours, Here they look alot closer to what was writen in the advert and in this case would most likley rule that no were in the contract did it specify when said acess and that people should stop asuming things.

As to my second point, and here i can only draw upon my own time as a CSR but is it is not Bob from marketing saying so in black and white someone has most likley overstepped their boundaries. But to be honest the main thing that rubbed me the wrong way the fraud bit, as i said drawing on my personall experience there is not all that unlikley that poor Bob in marketing, by the time he got wind of the forum post in particular nearly choked on his BLT sub and Coffey... sommunication between different departments are not always that effectiv.

Still it is one hell of a do-do to make but i have a hard time seeing how it was done with malicious intent or even worse trying to prove that as an outsider.

I am absolutly going to roll a Worgen druid with a feral/feral spec and make my current druid Balance/Resto (he's currently Balance/Feral) 'cause i realy like the jack of all trades feel of the druids and i want to see the new "old world". And i the new LFG system comming in 3.3 works as well as i hope life will indeed be good.

Ok... I have looked at all the advertisments and i non of the ones i can find did i find anything about  "WHEN" said access should be granted. As long as you get in to the closed beta they have made good on their part, and as far asi know... The closed beta ain't over yet i am right.

The only one who has said anything about "first access" was a person, who in all fairnes was not in a position to make sutch claims. So show me were it says "WHEN" you were going to get in to the beta apart from that poor man and his forumpost.

And i happen to think WOW is fun in it's current shape. If that makes me a worthless spoonfed imbicill in your eyes then asume i have to live with that as i could not care less. You have games like Darkfall and the original Ultima Online for your no shit, no nonsens in your face gaming. I am just glad that there is more then one game out there so we all can be happy and actually play things we like.

Do i need to point out that the original Hightborne never were completly wiped out. Just that most of them left for fairer shores and blonder hair... There has always been a enclave of highborne night elves and now they are comming back as the world is going towards the drain.

As you can see in WoTLK, the Worgen are nothing more then Warewolf dieseased effected Humans.

And once again another Lore problem comes up.  Diesease and Priest dont mix, in WoW's Lore.

All Holy oriented Classes are Immune to Dieseases (The Includes Priest and Paladins, Templars, Monks, ext [Doesnt include Holy Mechanic users such as Voo Doo doctors])

But Human Priest, cant be effected by Dieseases. So they wouldnt be turned into a Wolf.

If Worgen can be Druids, and Gnomes can be Priest, I dont see why Forsaken cant be Dark Knights, aka (for lore knowers, Knights that use the Cult of the forgotten Shadow, to heal, similar to Forsaken Priest, since lore wise they cant use Holy Magic ether)

Well maybe they A: Feel abit responsiblr as one of their artefacts broght the original worgen to the world B: Feel that they, sharing siutch a close bond to the nature could help the Gilneas Worgen to find some sort of balance between their feral and civil sides. 

As far as the light=infection.... They don't seem too imune to curses and this is more of a cure as i understand it.

But you are right... Not any lore to stop the forsaken from having dark "pallys" so it must suck that the cows got them instead.

Anyway To tie back to the first of your rages, Humans are not feral enough to be close to the animal aspect of the wild nor are they close enough to the Natural aspect of the wild, having been cursed with the worgen curse i say tipped the scales in the feral direction.... Ergo normal humans are not taught druidism but worgen are... Any other lore-rage you need answerd i am sure i can provide you with it.

if you were a realist you wouldn't be talking about people flocking to the game a day after they announced they were closing down another third of the servers that are left. However many 'new'people you see is clearly offset by the number of people leaving.

 

If you can't see that at least you can console yourself with the fact that mythic can see that.

 

 

Well most of us sesible EU subscribers knew they were going to close down servers since there was no way in hell that the game could support the amount of servers they threw up. I see this closing of another server in EU as a good thing. Now maybe they can focus on getting... What is it now... two stable servers with good population and work their way back. You know maybe they have learnt from their past mistakes and want to have as few servers as possible whne they launch their free trial to minimize the risk of people getting thinned out. Yes that is a statment of poor population but it does not meant that the decline in subs are the reason to close another server... Also... Was it not the RP server that bit the bullet... Newer seen one of those succede anyhow.

This will most likley not end well... Unless they have a very very solid product in their hands this feels abit short on testing.

But then again rumors has it that Blizzard will be releasing an expansion earlie next year so i can understand if they arre scared shitless.

Will give it the benefit of a doubt and stresstest it, also my GF is a trekkie so i guess it comes with the territory

You are 700% wrong..Let me explain.... Dk's were overpowered yes,but not because blizard needed 1 year almost to calculate them well ..They left them overpowered in PURPOSE for many months so many players will roll DK's and thats a fact. You really think with all those hundrends of employees,programmers and emplyed testers they have they couldnt calculate in 3-4 weeks of testing vs other classes? heh

No balance issue at all for not implementing all the heroic classes they made so far! Only reason is the sales/marketing policie which ofc is depending if there is any serious competiotion from other mmorpgs ! If a major blockbuster mmorpg in same quality of wow right now they would have thrown all those new classes +revamped /improved crafting system ALREADY!!!!!

I take it you are a blizzard employie working on gambalancing my friend of small pices of hipcloth. If not you are about as right or wrong as the poster you qouted. But i can tell you, as a gamemaster for several old  Pen n Paper rpg that balance is very tricky and no matter how good you think you know the system someone will always find a way to abuse it. So to be honest i am more inclined to belive the poster you qouted then yourself. That they had problem getting the feel and balance of the  DK right and there for have choosen to not realese any new hero classes at this moment.

Well...

First and foremost the reason they don't *poof* people to 80 is that they still want people to learn how to play their class. The cross erver instance is to help people who play at odd times or want to do the old raid and dungeon content.

After all it is more likley that you find five players on 30 servers that want to do scholomance than you find on one server, right?

That is how i look at it but then again i play in a small server so i feel the effects of this more sirect than a larger server might do.

Hardcore's... This game has more casuals than you can thorw a rock at.

It is not dying my paraniod frind... Not by a longshoot. Ultima online on the other hand.... that is a completly different story

so it seem that you need a working CC to set the account up.

Now i hate to say this but the best way to get this answerd is to mail the company behind FE and ask them.

My tip is easy, at first treat it as any other MMO and and deposit  a amount equal of a  normal monthly fee in to the game. Use this money to get a feel for the game and if you are smart (or read alot of guids) yoiu can make that money to last a fairly long time without mutch grind.

Me i am lazy and always deposit roughtly a normal monthly fee if i intend to play the game for any longer period of time. I will never break even but i have fun and that is the important thing for me.

Anyhow i warmly recomend this odd sandbox to anyone, as long as they don't try to go the "i will never deposit" route because it is a long and boring route for most.
