It looks like your steadfast belief in K2 is proving wrong, Boomer. K2 representatives (Such as Sword's Operations Lead) have quote that it appears to be AFTER Q1 now, and not before. Off shooting by a quarter? Like I have been saying from the begining: K2 has not met a deadline for Sword of the New World as of yet, and I firmly belief that it will never happen unless things drastically change for the better. As we look at post facts, it took them ages to receive a mere cash shop; I can't dare fathom an actual content update so large they are calling it an "expansion" to make it either.

I don't care if they are the publishers, it is their duty to publish at a relatively decent speed, and main a well playerbase. If you CANNOT quote a time, stop giving any. And for god's sake, stop with the "SOON(tm)". It is not soon. Both the dictionary and wikipedia quote that soon defines as "within a short period after this or that time." and "promptly or quickly." I for one don't call a period of 3 months "soon". Just say "we are aware and working on it."

Lastly, it would be much better to have a documentation section on their website, stating items in the planning (long term), production (mid term), and testing (short term) phases. And, might I add, continuously maintain it. Not that they have the staff to do so anymore... rumors have it they have severely reduced staff now. During K2 prime operating times it seems almost apparent they are low on AMs. Where did all of the AMs from Beta go?

Take as you choose, as this has been taking by a game industry journalist.

From 2 days ago, so... appearantly it is sooner than you think.

hmm... I actually like the Grand Master Forums.  There is a lot of really intelligent conversation going on that is devoid of people who don't understand the game or just want to flame (I can name a few of those people on here).

Either way, there are multiple ways to gain access and it is not that difficult to gain access.  My clan started less than 2 weeks ago.  We are now over 15 members and have hit 52.  If you can't do that much then you really don't have the knowledge that is required to be in the GMF.

Either way, soon enough more people will get in.  Once Elections and Faction Wars start there will be a host of players who want in and who are working to get in.

I just registered a new account and got it in about 2 minutes...

So... maybe submit a ticket to customer support on their website?

Actually K2 did speak about the next expansion (that's what Neume called it).  They also did say a day, however, all that was said in the Grand Master Forums so... can't really talk about it.

Yeah, I agree with the Quests thing, but K2 has been REALLY good with the Am team.  They are always in game running events and doing stuff.  That rocks.  I haven't had a GM team be so responsive since UO.

As for the review, it is one person's opinion.  BUT in all honesty for a Free MMO... Sword is WELL worth it.  It is hands down the best free mmo out there right now.

There is a thread somewhere on the Sword forums that explains this... but I can't remember where.

As for the rest you keep saying that they are doing things without any proof.  They went F2P, there was a LARGE population that didn't like the fact it was P2P in the first place.  Sooo... it looks to me like they did what the players wanted.

And frankly, if you don't like it... go away.  There are a TON of people who seem very happy.  Faction Wars are coming, we just got a new channel.  We have increased XP event AND we have increased XP when compared with sGE.  So, I'm happy.

In general players too WAAAAYYY too much faith in the BBB.  The BBB has NO clue what Online Gaming companies do and in most cases don't give the correct response to situations that occur.  Leave out the fact that they are supported by the same companies that they are reviewing, it basically cripples ANY credibility the organization has.

I say this as a gamer and as a person who as worked for more than 3 companies who now have BBB ratings that jumped from F/D to A/BBB.  The Walt Disney Company was probably the most noticible in my opinion.

But idiots still cling to the BBB like they are a completely non-baised organization.

Too bad they aren't.

I honestly never felt overcrowded.  But there definately were maps that were insane.  They just added another channel to all worlds and said that a 3rd channel would be added as needed on a per world basis.

Anyway, it really isn't that big a deal right now and there is a XP increase week going on right now.  So... 2 for the price of one!

I think all that is really known is that Crypic Studios is developing it and it will be on the 360 and possibly the PC as well.  We haven't really got more than that so far.  Mircosoft is the Publisher ATM

portcoimbra.com is hands down the best SNW/GE websites ever.  I was highly impressed... AND unlike some other GE/SNW websites it isn't run by farming companies.

Kudos to them for that!

Because I am on the forums DAILY and no one has complained about most of the stuff he is saying (save for the F2P/P2P issue which is well documented) There are hardly ANYONE with X-Trap issues or lag issues or anything.  The biggest issue is there are people who are premium and got deleveled.  Everything else K2 has seemed to deal with.

I just call it like I see it.  And I don't see the statements made here to be true.

I have a guild of 55 players who have not experienced these problem either.  Infact OP, in reading your post almost everything you have said is a flat out lie.
