FE doesnt have lag your eather running the game on a computer that doesnt meet min req, or your living outside the USA . I myself do have somewhat of a high end PC's and i never drop under 40 FPS in major towns. So a mid range gaming pc should at least beable to keep in 20 range. Cant complain on personal failure. FE is a game thats not for everyone some will like and, somne will hate it.

yeah no.. In-game I remember a bundle of people having problems with graphics lag. I am running a 8800 GTS OC, also I have a intel core duo at 2.50 GHZ. I am above what is min. I should be able to run this game at least medium or low. I am not, I am playing WELL below even low. The drawing distance is ridiculous. So, yeah... Please. You have a high end computer thus you can't say anything. Devs should make games that will play decently for mid range.

Well hate to see that your having issues. Its probley your 8800 gts, it is kind of out dated. But if you tried upgrading it with your core duo you would probley get bottlenecked. I could be wrong tho

1. Graphics arent dated, there not eye poping eather but better then most mmo's.

2.LOTRO and WoW have crapy graphics. The only reasion they look ok is cause there masked with a cartoon feel.

3.Character customization is one thing I will say is not that great.

4. Yes you can level as a crafter only would just take alot longer and you have way more then enof ap to max crafting and still max a combat skill, so why do crafting only.

5.FE never said it was a sandbox game now did they. NO they didnt look at there newest interview with Lee Hammock, he says it himself.

Personally, I started testing FE back last November, almost a year ago now, 11/17/08. I watched FE grow, painfully over that time, and I must say for a while there I didn't think FE was going to turn into an MMOG that I would play, or anyone for that matter. I am happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how things turned out. And WoW and other games dont have bugs most of what you say isnt even close to true lol. I remember back when I use to play WoW getting myself bugged out under Orgrimmar, on my druid and killing horde all day. I remember duping in WoW. I remember being out to bug out your states in WoW and 1 shot people. I remember people fly hacking in WoW. I remember my guild all creating trail accounts and downloading a custom patch, and going to gm island to kill a gm.

When 3.2 come out 10's of thousands of players couldnt patch there client.

There is a bug right now in WoW that allows you to disconnect people reading their mail.

As of now there are bugs to get into Acherus as a non DK.

There are still bugs that allow you to dupe.

There are still bugs that allow you to get under northrend and run around even kill people.

There are expolites that allow you to earn achievements while offline.

To the OP. You fail so bad at tring to make it sound like WoW and Lotro are bug and expolite free.

Trolls are just mad cause Fallen Earth is doing really well. Thats why they have to make new account and post all the false trash they do about this game and others. It's all cause they know games are comming out now that are giving WoW a run for it's money, IE Aion and Fallen Earth.

5.) Environment- let me sum up the entire map in roughly 5 words...

       1.) Sand

       2.) Cactus

       3.) Random useless town

       4.) Random canyon     

       5.) more sand....

6.) Crafting- Why does this game do nothing but shove crafting on you it seems like? Want a better weapon? Craft it. Want better armor? Craft it. Some people don't like crafting....in fact some people consider it annoying and extremely boring.

7.) Lag- ...FAIL

8.) Mutations- LAME

9.) Skills- Does rather well with this...except for the combat skills...

             1.) Melee- You may learn how to use a Hammer affectively, but try that hammer bull crap with a sword or a dagger and                    your gonna get your head cut off...most likely by yourself.. NOT ALL MELEE WEAPONS ARE USED THE SAME WAY   

             2.) Pistols and rifles- If your going to combine weapon types into one category these are the ones that should be                                   combined, both of them = point+shoot....

10.) Community- Every single person that i came in contact with in this game seemed like giant *** holes. Seriously, asked one question in the "Help" channel regarding the reloading hot key, the answer i got is "Really? you are really asking that? The stupid people are out today, wow...."

11.) Movement- Why the hell do i strife at under half the speed that i move? That annoyed the crap out of me.

12.) Quests- go here kill X or Y, or Collect X of Y, Defend this area by killing all of Y

This game is just full of so much fail...I DON'T RECCOMEND ANYONE PLAY THIS GAME...for $50...if i would have know how this game actually was....I would have spent the money on something more useful...like a tank of gas and a lighter to burn this company down with.

We wont miss you. And this game is worth the $50 dollars.

You are joking right? Seriously, I never have had so many issues with my PC since Windows ME. Vista was far from stable. Random crashes, many programs didn't work properly, compatibility issues with printers, cameras not working properly with it.

I put in Windows 7 and did not have to download a single compatable driver. Win7 was able to detect and update everything for me. With Vista I had to install everything, sound card, graphics driver, motherboard, and printer took days to finally get the dam thing working with vista.

I never had any issues with Vista it was always very stable for me. I think alot of the issues people tring to say Vista is not stable are running hardware from last decade.

Havent bought a PC from a comany sence 2001. Build them myself.

Thats not a game issue, I can tell its its a driver or hardware failure. Could be anything from your GFX Card or Anti Virus.

1. over heating ( which as per above could be caused by dust build up or the heat sink not making correct contact with the processor )

2. the power supply does not supply enough power / wattage - have you upgraded any hardware recently before this started happening ?

3. Bad memory ie RAM or possibly hard drive as per above.
 

From a post on FE forums. Remember tho your connecting to a server half way around the world from where your located.

We would like everyone to conduct some Ping / Trace route tests and email the results to alphatest@fallenearth.com with the subject line PING/TRACEROUTE TEST.

Please do the following:

On your desktop > go to START
Click RUN
Type: CMD
Type: ping 216.27.81.252 (there is a space between ping and the 2)
Press ENTER, once this is complete you will see another command line (C:). You are ready for the next test
Trace route Test
On the next command line Type: tracert 216.27.81.252 (there is a space between tracert and 2)
Press ENTER
Copy the entire screen and paste into a .txt file named TEST and email it to alphatest@fallenearth.com with the subject line PING/TRACEROUTE TEST 
 

You can use netstat from the command line to figure out which port and IP frontend.exe is connecting from/to. Also maybe looking into connecting through a proxy might help your connection.

Id also make a post of FE forums as in your not going to get much for help here with tech issues. Read over there tech support forums might find some info you can use.
