I have a Empire to lvl 16 and thought the zone seemed empty at first... but, If you hang around the various PQ's people show up pretty quick and its easy to get groups going.  Plus when you get a bit higher in the beta it seems more people do Open world RvR or instance RvR.  I have been having a blast!

I dont think the OP knows what Twink means or how it got its strong hold in MMRPG's.  In EQ a twink was getting gear drops from mobs lvl 50+ and giving it to your lvl 1 player.  New mmos prevent this by having level caps for your gear (must be certain lvl to use) therefore everyone has the chance to equal everyone if they work for it at that lvl.  No more give super awesome lvl 60 drops to a lvl 1 and own!

My account did not get reactived and I started playing back in 2000 and did not stop until 2004.  I am quite disappointed.  I tried the 14 day trial on tehre and when I log in with my old ID all my Characters are gone.  I contacted support so they can hopefully get this straightned out because I miss my cleric.

It is obvious that they have not finished implementing all of the crafting skills.  Otherwise tehre is no point to butchering animals if you cannot craft anythign with their skin bones and meat.

I am a little disappointed that they do not have armor or weapon crafting in the game (they could add it in the future) because those were the two professions I always took.  However, the "new" craftign system does seem to be fresh and different enough to be entertaining.  I hope that when a gathering profession is chosen you automatically get a pack for that gathering profession to store stuff, and also that your pots to mix ingredients will be a container seperate from you bags and will not waste gear inventory space.  Very cool info!

I thought the point of game cards and alternative methods of payment were there to provide a way for younger audiances (mostly) who canot get a credit card to play.  However younger audiances, less than 17 should not be playing the game because of the rating.

Pay the registration?  Maybe he is thinking about selling his soul to get in beta?

Your character will look like Arnold on the left in the 20s and 30's lvl range, by the time you reach lvl 60 you will look like the Arnold on the right.  For the female characters, think saggy boobs.  It is too bad they dont have aging in mmo's, that would totally rock !

I don't know why people say WoW had a bad launch.  The games launch was freaking awesome.  It was not until a week after launch that the problems showed up because so many people started playing.  I played successfully for the first week of the game with little or no problems and not a single broken quest.  I was level 25ish before the loot problem started (getting stuck looting because the server was crowded.)   I expect Conan to have a few problems but it definetely should be a smooth launch.

They could make a fortune if they ported that to the DS!

I am disappointed there is no open beta also.  I have never played an MMO where I did not get to try it out first to see if it even remotely interests me, without having to plop down 50 bucks.

The is a lvl 70 Dwarf Hunter on one of the EU servers who is lvl 70 with no ranged skill.  I think his guns are 1, thrown is 1, and bows is 6.  I thought that was actually impressive.  But I do not see how someone who does not kill mobs would ever make it to 70.

You would think they would pick a word that has not been around for 4+ years already.

Thousands of you took part in the search for Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year for 2007, and the vast majority of you chose a small word that packs a pretty big punch. The word you've selected hasn't found its way into a regular Merriam-Webster dictionary yet—but its inclusion in our online Open Dictionary, along with the top honors it's now been awarded—might just improve its chances. This year's winning word first became popular in competitive online gaming forums as part of what is known as l33t ("leet," or "elite") speak—an esoteric computer hacker language in which numbers and symbols are put together to look like letters. Although the double "o" in the word is usually represented by double zeroes, the exclamation is also known to be an acronym for "we owned the other team"—again stemming from the gaming community.

Merriam-Webster's #1 Word of the Year for 2007 based on votes from visitors to our Web site:

1. w00t (interjection)
expressing joy (it could be after a triumph, or for no reason at all); similar in use to the word "yay"

I guess this is the final straw.  I could see the Star Trek License getting pulled from PE, and I hope it does.  Let us just pray another compitent company will pick up the license and start the game from scratch!

What exactly should they reimburse you for?  Are they going to buy you a new boot.ini file for your computer?  I think putting in the Windows CD and using the repair option should have hopefully fixed that.  What exactly did you loose of monitary value from your computer?

I think this has officially moved WAR below AoC in terms of wanting to play.  That vid freaking rocked!

I think a $500 system can be a pretty damn good gaming rig these days.  Especially if you build one yourself.  So saying that a $500 computer is a base line is just not true in my opinion.

You are trying to upgrade to a Burning Crusade Trial account?  I dont think that exists.  If you want burning crusade then you have to buy the original, then buy burning crusade.

I did this but on their website you can register, activte and download the game and i never was asked to enter my key.

Several Gigs is good news.  More features to test!   Maybe they will invite more people to the beta (if the thousands are not enough for this big of a patch) and I can get in.  Plus it did mention content and several gigs of data is well worth downloading to get more content.  AoC is about 50/50 drawing me away from WAR.  ARG!!! Why do 2 games that I am interested in have to be released so close together!
