Ummm i can play the game and browse the internet i dont need to alt tab the game windowed mode is the size of your internet browser when maximized. So your able to have the game open and check your ffxi wiki or whatever else.

I played PS2 version and curently using PC version due to PS2 being busted and PS3 not backwards compatible. Now i have never used windower and never will because its modifying the game and that is pretty much cheating. Now if it only windowed your game then i would say by all means use it but adding stuff to modify it I say no.

Now SE added a windowed mode (which is what people whined about) yet those people are most likely still using windower. You who are using it say its no cheat but being able to see farther then those who can't thus most likely being able to claim an NM if it does in fact show monsters further then people without then yes it is cheating.

So for me i say its cheating and i would'nt recommend using it but its up to you really.

Leveling, Fishing, doing nothing productive atm the norm for me.

Just figure out what you want to take to 75 then find out what SJ is needed and take that/them to 37 asap. I play on Bismarck and for the most part people are still leveling in the lower level area's and my LS seem to get partys going there everyday.

Well i hope FFXI does not get cancelled anytime soon, but if it does I had my eyes on SW:TOR since it was announced and also APB. Other then those two games then i just will quit MMO's all together if FFXI gets shutdown.

Yeah what Khrymson said sorry i never really knew why we had to go through the POL thing either all i was interested in was getting on the game and having fun.

This was my first MMO and there just are no games like this and I'm not really into grind games but its better then playing some game that takes a week to gain max level.

This is in fact nothing like WoW. As to your problem are you registered to play? If so you should have gotten your Playonline ID and created your password.

WOW is the biggest RMT game on the planet i don't hear the 11 million players complaining nor do they seem to worried about it.

You mention FFXI being RMT? When exactly was the last time you played? I just started playing FFXI again and the economy is pretty much back to the way it was after release. SE is combating RMT and the only other game besides FFXI doing this is WAR.

Now as for SOE going RMT and still keeping games P2P is just a smack in the face of any player playing an SOE game. I think Smed should be fired and the new guy/girl should bring some light back into the SOE games because as of now they are just destroying any game they can.

Yeah i know 100% i can restore my character its on the list of characters that can i selected my character waited a few minutes and got an error now i am back at square one pretty upset about it. Now by square one i mean having to do the process from the start but not being able to get passed the agree/decline stage. I deleted Lexin today in order to make room for this character so it will be Lexin again just need to get him back and transfered.

Oh wow another SOE game that went RMT shocking. The thing with SOE that pisses me off is the fact they have a cash shop and yet still making you P2P. I think SOE games present and furture will fail because of this and i am positive they will do this to all of their games and it shows they did RMT to SWG and now EQ and EQ2 now only time will tell when SOE goes under due to one mans greed.

After carefully reading the info on retaining a deleted character i am eligibal to get it back i am so happy. Now i was planning on returning to Pandemonium but i have decided to stick with Bismarck because i joined a linkshell a few days ago that is not worth giving up. So instead of transfering 2 characters over to a server i will spend $25 to transfer 1 character and to me it is well worth it. Yes i do miss playing on Pandemonium but the fact is that only 2 people i knew from that server still play but are always doing endgame so i will stick with Bizmarck.

I have been psyched ever since hearing about this and now that i know i can get my character back just makes me so happy. So for anyone who deleted their character and are wanting to get it back choose option b.

Edit: Oh yeah seems like a lot of people are returning i am unable right now to get to step 2 I'm very anxious as i should be and not wanting to wait but i waited a few days i think i can wait a few more hours.

Edit: So yes i am able to restore my character its just super slow and keep getting errors due to the congestion.

I'm fishing anf leveling Whm to pass time i just really hope i can get my character back so i can hit 75 quickly and be able to hang out with my friend more. Also i want him back because i have done so much on him and very little on my current character i been playing.

It was a little over 2 years ago but i will try and if need be i will delete any character.

Ok so i was reading a website on what exactly this does and i need to know if it is true. So i read that you can restore a character which you deleted from your content id. I have a question about this and i could sure use some answers.

1) Now i deleted my character years ago and started a new one now I would like to know if i were to revive my character using this will they put it on a brand new content id?

2) Now i do have a current character on the server in which i deleted my original from so i was wondering if i deleted it and left that content id open would they put my character there?

3) Last question does it matter when i deleted my character?

Any kind of information regarding this would be greatly appreciated i would like to hear someone who has done this before or if someone knows someone who has done this before or even someone who thinks they know about this.

As of late i have been playing on the Bismarck server so if I'm able to restore my character chances are i will be returning to Pandemonium full time i don't want to but i only talk with 3 people on Bismarck and 2 of those people are rarely on. But because i was originally from Pandemonium i made a character to sit and talk with people there and i seen a lot of people who still remember me there and wish for me to come play there again. So if I'm able to i will just transfer my one character on Bismarck which has all my stuff gear/gil left over from my original character over after i talk to what few friends i have on my current server.

So please any kind of information you think i could use please i put 3+ years into that one character and would love to be able to run around with him once again.
