It is amazing how many fail posts u can find here for a game that new and  so polished like Aion.

Did u ever consider that some people are trying to find something new to play after all this years of warcraft.

WoW was and is a success no one can claim otherwise , but other than that it is just an old and outdated game where people grind countless hours the same raids , or the same BG'S or Arena's for PVP or PVE gear.

Yet they flood these forums with posts saying that Aion is just an asian grinder.

If doing the same raid for a 100 times or more is not grinding then what is.

Blizz is getting all these crazy cash each month , delivering the same old outdated cartoony graphics engine , yet people love it.

I donot know if millions will play Aion and honestly i don't care , all i know is that many players nowadays need a new game with graphics and gameplay that looks and feels like a game of today not a decade ago.

So stop these fail posts ur precious wow will be around another 10 years anyway cause blizz is not giving u anything new unless u stop paying them for the same old game.

Aion sounds and i am sure will be a nice game to play.

People can try and defend WoW as much as they like.

Whatever they say or do though , WoW is and will be an old and outdated MMO.

Wait the map will get a revamp and people will be able to play a goblin , that's so new run to the shops and preorder now omg.

I enjoyed it for a few years too , now me and my buddies are moving to aion ,cause simply we look for something new.

I definitely will play at launch cause it is a nice game and simply i don't want to pay blizz another dime playing crap.

Enjoy ur cartoons i will be in Aion PVPing in the Abyss not in some meaningless BG that one side always wins.

It is trully amazing that in year 2009 people are still paying blizzard to play same old WOW.

Nothing has changed in that game i played it for 4 years , scripted mobs will always be scripted mobs nothing new ,nothing fresh.

Get over it , more games are being released , try them u might find out ur beloved wow is not the best game around.

I really hope Aion does well in the west , and we have some fun killing each other in some real open world PVP .

Well i barely had time to test the game , tried it for like a week or so before the servers went down.

I play the GE version now on asian servers , which is by the way ver 3.2 and packed of players.

I hope they get the game going aggain cause it was a nice game .

Started with EVE online for 2 years , WOW , Lotro , Guild Wars and so on .

Currently playing WOW aggain with some friends , just for the fun of grouping.

I tried ROM it is a nice MMO for f2p and i will spend some time there it is worth a try .

Waiting for a new fresh MMO i guess hope someone comes up with something new and fresh soon.

Vanguard , has it's problems but it is the best one out there.

Vanguard is no ghost town.

I can easily find groups , bugs are just a few and /flush command i dont know it even existed and i have a level 30 toon and a level 17 one .

I am so glad i decided to download and try the game cause it is the best pve game there is.

No way i am going back to crap like WOW .

Plus it has a real mature helpfull community.

No more dirge talk for me thanks.

After a few years of EVE-ONLINE , WOW , AOC , LOTRO and so on , i really got bored of MMO's.

Till i found out about vanguard trial and decided to have a look at the failure everyone was talking about.

Getting ready to play a buggy game , for 14 days then deleting it , i joined the world of TELON.

And all i have to say ,was i wrong. The game is very well made , classes offer very nice abilities .

VG world is very well made , characters are nice , even music fits in nicely.

Crafting is nothing like other mmo's , diplomacy is fun to play , and quests are well made too .

I have found only a few bugs so far , but customer support was so fast fixing a broken quest that i didn't even notice the problem was there.

If u want to play a nice game , with a very good helpfull community give VG a try.

No it is not wow population wise , grouping can be a problem at times , but it is still worth some months of playtime .

The Default answer is "Wait till WAR"...However I wager that many of the AoC bashers will also Bash WAR for the similar reasons (It'll be a good game, but not pristine and perfect out of the box). Who knows what WAR wil be like on release and when the release will be.

So, list what MMO you plan to play because AoC failed to entice you.

RULES:
1. Only list MMOs. No listing console games, or FPS
2. No Need to Flame, just by writing a response you have demonstrated you are one of the upset players and have (or will have) moved on.
3. List only MMOs that are currently released and available to be played. Just like WAR the "IM waiting for the next big thing" doesnt help the average player.
4. List the MMO and what it is about that MMO that makes you go to it. It may be that you can aid others like you

 

Want it or not wow is the best, most fun, most bug free, most features, quests, gear etc on earth...

People get tired sometimes..but when you go play another game you realise no other game can compare to the polish wow has..and wotlk is looking awsome....apart from all new features..the graphics revamp also, well its blizzard making it..so less then awsome its not acceptable...

People say its more of the same grinding, questing, bgs, arenas, raids, factions, gear etc ..but isnt life the same everyday? arent other mmos the same everytime but less polished, less content?Isnt grinding for something you want ingame what makes you play the game everyday?

 

So for me its always wow untill something better comes...if it ever comes....wow is pure magical fun world...others will come but will they have that special flavour wow has?

So true , wow has everything u need , with a few good friends u are going to have lot's of fun cause blizzard knows how to keep u busy playing.

AOC is a big failure , mainly cause funcom is just a lie , so many promises they cannot keep.

I played eve-online for a few years , what a nice game .

I wait for WAR to come out , meantime i play lotro, at least it's stable fun to play , and the community is great.

Now, I can see someone who only made it to level 30 in their first month might think that this game is still hot shit...  but you would have to play very little to only make it to level 30 in 1 month.   Anyone who has gotten to level 60+ would know this game sucks balls for a MMO that has a subscription fee.

Currently playing and will resubscribe.

The game has potential , yes it is unfinished but i can wait , i played cartoons (wow) for too long .

And no i don't use xfire like many other players .

Well buy it and play it , this is a great game and funcom is going to make it even better.

Oh yes u can always go back and spend countless hours in the arena or farming karahzan , yeah that would be lot's of fun (what a waste of time)

I bet half the hater population on these forums and they are a lot , are currently playing the game whining or spamming the ooc channel with wow chat.

Well , i hope they do somethig soon , the game on the EU server is performing so badly that u cannot play.

I really tried to play today , spent most of my time waiting for the lag to go away.

Let's wait for the patch to find out if we will continue to play TR or not.

 Games Played: EVE-ONLINE , WOW , RF Online , and now TR.

Well i bought TR and was very anxious to play it, but unfortunately the game performance is really bad.

I have tremendous lag , i play lots of MMO's no problems at all but TR.

Lag makes the game so difficult to play , and i usually just logoff after an hour of trying to wait for the lag to go away.

The game is nice , the game concept is nice , graphics are ok , but if they dont do something fast i think a lot of people will just move on to the next MMO.

The GM's Just replied to me that it is a known issue that will be taken care of in the future.
