After the last maintenance telemachus is 95% bot free , they simply banned them all.

To know if a company keeps promises , well i guess u have to play the game.

Aion is moving forward , ncsoft released INGAME FOOTAGE of future expansions not walls of text .

I say good job Ncsoft give us the real stuff .

U make such a poll on mmorpg.com and expect to know if the game is holding or not.

Bots are there , but gold spam chat is almost non existent.

I have to block one or two from time to time but it simply is gone , the filter they used is trully working.

I guess u have to play a game to be able to speak about it , and in mmorpg people tend to know it all , even for games they never ever played , or played in beta to level 10.

I agree with most of what u said , although i still enjoy playing Aion and will stick to it for a while.

Numerous bots , low drop rates in instances , and tons of xp to next level will make many move on to the next one.

Hopefully the patch will not take that long and some of that will change to the better.

Good luck with Lotro , i play it from time to time too , it is a nice game.

They live to bash games , how boring can that be , of course he has a problem.

U just have to realize that mmorpg.com has stopped being an informative site about mmo's long time ago.

It is just another web site to spend ur time while at work or when u cannot play ur favorite game.

I guess gamers nowadays just love to use forums as a way to express some of that hate they have ,for the way they live in general.

Now about Aion.

My advice would be to try it out for urself.

It is a nice game with great graphics and pvp that has no match to it.

Yes flight makes a difference no matter how hard they try to convince u otherwise.

Servers are full still with players enjoying the game , i have no clue if this is going to last for a long time but for now it is fun and for me this is more than enough.

Game has it's problems like all other mmo's , bots are everywhere and ncsoft so far has done nothing about it.

One minor detail though that noone mentions here is that bots are far far away from the abyss , cannot go to ur elite farming grounds and cannot enter all the instances , so if u play with friends and group this is going to be a fun game for sure .

Another problem is siege crashes that hopefully will be fixed soon , and low drop rates in dungeons , but this is already being solved with the upcoming patch ( a very good one too).

If u try to solo ur way up to 50 like most haters did , just killing mobs well yes this is an asian grinder for sure.

Leveling is not like wow , is everything being given to u freely NO , is death penatly harsh YES (Costs a lot to get ur xp back) .

Make ur choice buy the game and try it .

Hope that helped , now they can quote and flame my post all they want , it makes no difference anyway cause people are enjoying Aion no matter what haters say.

Anyway great news for ncsoft , Aion is a nice game.

Zorndorf is a player who hates whatever comes from Korea we all know that by now.

Quite simply servers are packed with players.

How can that be a fail  , i guess all these haters know better.

By the way on what server are u playing and what is ur characters name.

I play on telemachus and the place is so packed with players , every night the servers show as full i can post a screen if it will make u feel better too.

Gold spam has stopped except for an occasional message or two.

Half of the reasons people post here are non existent.

Don't worry WoW is still and will be top game on the charts LOL.

Aion servers are full now as they were at launch .

So whether some people like it or not this game is doing fine.

I am still playing aion and so are a lot of players.

Servers show the same status they had a few weeks ago , with only a few recommended .

My server Telemachus is packed with players even in low level areas , the next patch is going to make many improvements , ncsoft is listening to the playerbase.

Aion is a good polished solid game with nice pvp elements.

War i tried it for like 2 months and quit , post tier 2 the game was so boring i could not even logon.

Good luck with war anyway .

Oh it's Zorndorf again saying that all other games are boring and crap besides WoW.

Well although i agree ncsoft should track down and resolve the issue , even if it is only 5% of the player base , 5% is a big number , i have to remark that saying Aion is a totally flawed game , and making a forum post with such a title is childish at least.

There is not even one MMO out there that has not been suffering from bugs introduced by patches.

Famous WoW was suffering from numerous bugs each patch i was there for like 3 years , EVE-ONLINE same deal , AOC well that one was a champion , WAR same .

I am pretty confident they will sort it out soon , so although i can understand it can be really frustrating be a little patient , crying about it in the forums will not solve ur problem .

After quiting eve online a few years ago i decided to try wow cause all my friends were there.

I played wow for a few years too , it was a nice fun game to play , but i got bored after a while and decided to quit it too.

Sice then i tried every game there is out there hoping to find something new to play , doing the exact same drill OP describes , playing all classes to choose which one i like.

I tried war , got bored in a months time, AOC same .

Playing over and over the same content trying to decide which class to play , leads only to boredom.

I decided to try AION , and to my suprise it was a really nice game .

But this time i rolled a cleric and decided to stick to one class no matter what.

I am having so much fun once more . I even tried my first PVP fight today , i am level 22 by now .

So i guess don't do that , trying everything ends in not being able to decide what to play so the game gets boring so fast.

Just my opinion .
