Here's the thing though... you're not really discussing.  You're baiting people with negative threads, just to get the community riled up. 

And why?

Sure you're allowed to.  Sure it's your right to blog/discuss whatever you want to...

But why?

If you really dislike the game as much as you do, why bother starting threads about it?  Because you need to see other people agree with your point of view, for some sort of validation that your opinion is valid?  There are plenty of MMO's that I dislike - but I don't give a rat's ass about any of them, and don't lose a wink of sleep over them... and don't bother posting about them...

And the funniest thing is - these boards are absolutely full of haters, which lends the impression that people hate the game.  But they don't.  People hate on WoW here too... and they have 10 million active subscribers.  So if you actually DO feel some form of validation from the people "agreeing" with your negative posts here, just remember that for every 1 person who agrees with you there are probably 100,000 busy playing the game, not even aware that these forums exist.  

So again, why bother?

This is one of the best f2p titles out there.

So much to do in this game , so many features , event system is a great addon.

But u have to get past level 20 to even realize that .

Currently playing and having fun.

It looks nice , feels nice , event system is there like all PW games , and this one is clearly made for western audience.

It will keep me company till GW2 comes out.

Client is stable , some lag spikes but EU server is packed with people .

Check it out .

I resubbed a few days ago , they send me an offer for like 5$ a months time .

I am glad i did , so much different from fireballs and the same over and over.

I enjoy riding my bike aggain and yes i find it much harder now than last year , combat has also improved.

Get into a nice guild and the game is great , dunno for how long i will be playing but after all , who cares so many games out there .

Played beta liked it , will sub at least for a while

I got to play the beta this weekend

A nice polished game , interesting classes , nice graphics.

It run very well on my system with no problems.

Overall polished interesting game.

At level 30 skirmishes open up , and they are fun to play.

Follow the epic storyline , run some instances , so many options in this game.

I got to level 57 in no time , just doing books , instances and skirmishes.

It is an MMO what did u expect , at least Lotro has a story to follow , read the texts they are there for some reason.

Once u hit Moria the game changes a bit , have not been to Mirkwood yet .

Graphics = awesome , lotro is one of the most detailed , polished games i ever played.

Played it for 3 years or so , then quit . Don't think i will ever go back aggain .

I am currently playing FE , the only game i find interesting enough to play , and just train skills in EVE Online.

Cata will be just another revamp of the same , my goblin warlock or whatever will still be shooting shadowbolts .

They will still be nerfing classes clockwise in each patch and so on , nothing new there move on.

 I have been playing for a while and i have to tottally agree with u .

The game has it's problems they all do , but i find FE a very enjoyable game to logon and play.

 Fallen Earth 8/10 , cause of a few bugs and a bit weird animation at times , other than that it is a breath of fresh air , nice game and a great developers team , those guys are doing a great job .

EVE Online 9/10 , need to take a break though been playing for a few years .

Well it is obvious this game was not what u expected it to be , so it eventually got u bored and u left.

Posting about it is meaningless in my opinion .

I am level 40 now playing casually now and then , i have joined a nice active legion and i am having a really nice time in Aion.

The RMT problem is being addressed by Ncsoft , with a huge delay i have to aggree with u but it is.

Regarding to people massively leaving the game , i really doubt that , my legion is 80 active players all mains no alts, plus the server is packed .

Aion is definitely not for everyone but it is a nice polished game .

Is Aion easy to level past level 40 NOOOO it is not.

But honestly i don't care my quest log is full , i have fun grouping with friends doing raids , PVP ing , questing at elite areas.

I don't expect to have full epics in a week , or be 50 next week , i just enjoy the trip there.

After the last maintenance telemachus is 95% bot free , they simply banned them all.

To know if a company keeps promises , well i guess u have to play the game.

Aion is moving forward , ncsoft released INGAME FOOTAGE of future expansions not walls of text .

I say good job Ncsoft give us the real stuff .

U make such a poll on mmorpg.com and expect to know if the game is holding or not.

Bots are there , but gold spam chat is almost non existent.

I have to block one or two from time to time but it simply is gone , the filter they used is trully working.

I guess u have to play a game to be able to speak about it , and in mmorpg people tend to know it all , even for games they never ever played , or played in beta to level 10.

I agree with most of what u said , although i still enjoy playing Aion and will stick to it for a while.

Numerous bots , low drop rates in instances , and tons of xp to next level will make many move on to the next one.

Hopefully the patch will not take that long and some of that will change to the better.

Good luck with Lotro , i play it from time to time too , it is a nice game.

I like playing Aion, for now. If that makes you itch, it's your problem. Not mine.

They live to bash games , how boring can that be , of course he has a problem.

U just have to realize that mmorpg.com has stopped being an informative site about mmo's long time ago.

It is just another web site to spend ur time while at work or when u cannot play ur favorite game.

I guess gamers nowadays just love to use forums as a way to express some of that hate they have ,for the way they live in general.

Now about Aion.

My advice would be to try it out for urself.

It is a nice game with great graphics and pvp that has no match to it.

Yes flight makes a difference no matter how hard they try to convince u otherwise.

Servers are full still with players enjoying the game , i have no clue if this is going to last for a long time but for now it is fun and for me this is more than enough.

Game has it's problems like all other mmo's , bots are everywhere and ncsoft so far has done nothing about it.

One minor detail though that noone mentions here is that bots are far far away from the abyss , cannot go to ur elite farming grounds and cannot enter all the instances , so if u play with friends and group this is going to be a fun game for sure .

Another problem is siege crashes that hopefully will be fixed soon , and low drop rates in dungeons , but this is already being solved with the upcoming patch ( a very good one too).

If u try to solo ur way up to 50 like most haters did , just killing mobs well yes this is an asian grinder for sure.

Leveling is not like wow , is everything being given to u freely NO , is death penatly harsh YES (Costs a lot to get ur xp back) .

Make ur choice buy the game and try it .
