pizzadude, you need to learn that saying that you're uber enough times doesn't make it true. it will, however, gather a lynch-mob of players in SoG tracking you down. and learn to spell. it's AIN'T, not anit. what a travesty of the english language we can find in him.
as for the real point of this thread, SoG is an embarrassment. GW had the full game in an open beta, and it only cost $10. SoG costs, per unit, $28.22 and doesn't work. while GW was only on 1 weekend a month, SoG isn't on at all. so no, Farlan will never understand what they are doing wrong. and as for the nortrh-east being smart, i bought into the pre-order scam. but we are rich enough to expect quality, and this game is most decidedly lacking of it. |

it's no longer covered by an NDA if it is made public by the other party. pioneers want to know how to use their abilities that they have direct access to. it's therefore public knowledge and you can tell us. i am a pioneer. i have the right to know how my abilities work. if Farlan is still enforcing an NDA, they are not worth the energy that went into typing this sentence. |

SoG is not meeting expectations, while normally this is alright for a game just released, especially a free game (the $60 was for a special edition DnL, not for SoG) there is still an obligation of Farlan to provgide service to those who did pay. when the service is severly lacking, we do have a right to a refund. personally, im fine with bad graphics. i love Runescape, and it looks like NES ploygons. all i want is a game with servers that can handle me logging on. if SoG can't do that, i want a refund. anything else, i'll consider it a $60 well spent. |

wait. so SoG goes public and now it cannot support less than 9,000 paying customers? what happens tomorrow when all the free accounts go live? the chance of getting on gets cut in less than half? so i pay and someone else doesn't and they get on because they logged on first? what a friggin faupa. never screw over someone who is willing to pay. goddam european bs. |

j/k. seriously though, this game is crap. i can't even log in. i just get a damn run-time error. somethin about a missing file. this is what happens when u go peer-to-peer for distribution. and since i paid $60, they could at least have sent me a cd or something with the game on it. or at least enough to patch everything when i log in. why is farlan so cheap? |

the bit about not being ready is because the servers aren't up yet. don't overthink it. the game simply isn't ready yet, however it should be up on monday (*fingers crossed.) that's all. if you can run the file named "DnL Launcher" and get the message about not being ready, you have finished everything and are ready to play once the game is released. until release, however, we can only pray everything is on schedule (assumming NP3 and Farlan know what that means.) |

yeah. pioneers (like me) get about a day to play before the servers go down until thursday. this is assukming they are ready on the 12th (which they won't be.) i wouldn't expect anything before the new year. at least when DnL does come out, if ever, i get a pet dragon and some nice starting cash. |

as for what's going on, the site does still say download will be available today at 1pm EST. i personally am more annoyed by anything. all i know for sure is that they screwed up and don't feel the need to inform us as to when we can expect to actually play. watch them not release SoG until a week before DnL releases. |
