http://youtube.com/watch?v=X3Wyj5IJZMA Enjoy.  They have some great people working on it so I hope the PG-13 rating they're shooting for won't mean a lame cop-out.

I've pointed this out before, and it still hasn't been corrected. The information in the OP concerning Lucas Arts and Bioware working on an MMORPG together is wrong. The announcement doesn't say anything about the two working on a MMORPG or even an online game together at all. All that is said is that they are working on "a game" together.

Why is the OP refusing to fix this flaw in his post. The misinformation gives me the feeling that this thread isn't reliable for a focal point of information.

You apparently completely missed a paragraphs worth of reading in my disclaimer:

"This thread was created to gather all available information regarding the BioWare MMORPG currently in development. We are looking for any and all information. Speculation is inevitable, but if we must let’s try to be as informed as possible. Please feel free to help add or correct any information presented and remember to take everything with a grain of salt ;) "

The building circumstantial evidence would tilt SPECULATION towards a link between BioWare's MMORPG and Star Wars and thus LucasArts - however that must be taken 'with a grain of salt' meaning don't take it for a fact.

If suddenly we found out that BioWare had somehow been talking to JK ROWLING [Harry Potter author, sorry if I got her name wrong...] for years then that would be another piece of speculation to add, but so far the 'Star Wars' speculation by far outweighs anything else NOT just because there is a huge public demand for it but if you look at the first page of posts, there's just a ton of little facts that could easily point to the IP.

I didn't miss that paragraph. Even in your paragraph, you say we should be informed as possible; looking for any and all information; and to feel free to add or "correct" information.

So you are contradicting yourself in the high lighted paragraph, when you don't correct your mistype above the link to the article, because I informed you of the mistake and by the above paragraph, you fix any mistakes pointed out.

So don't pin this on me; like I didn't read the paragraph, when I did. You apparently didn't remember what you wrote in that paragraph, aside from the "grain of salt" thing.

I posted about the inaccuracy last year in this thread. This thread popped up on the popullar threads and I noticed it was still not changed. That is the only reason I posted again on this thread, because by that paragraph, you want people to tell you when something is incorrect. Well, I did and you didn't fix it.

I'm sorry could you point out where exactly I state that it is a FACT that BioWare/LucasArts are working together on an MMORPG? I'm pretty sure everyone is quite aware that their 'mystery partnership' being BioWare's secret MMORPG is just speculation... I thought it was pretty obvious but perhaps I missed.  Feel free to copy/paste the area where I declare it a fact - thanks.

To be honest, I'm generally all for BioWare and most of their projects [discounting the recent sonic rpg] but Dragon Age has so far completely failed to generate much interest from me.

The trailers in my opinion are pretty sub-par standard fantasy fare and the little bit of story we've learned doesn't seem very deep or original - it makes me go 'MEH' when I've written much more creative stories even if 'unprofesionally' at this stage...

Granted the official website barely has some screens and a bit of story while all we've really seen is some seemingly dated cinematic teasers but who knows... maybe tomorrow [9:30am] the E3 BioWare DA:O talk will be able to excite me some...

I'd give almost any 'action adventure sci-fi mmorpg' a shot at this point :p

It most likely is DA:O, but the term 'debut' really suggest it's the first announcement/appearance of the game... but I guess it would be the first time DA:O is presented to the public other than the teaser trailers really...

I wonder why they didn't list it as 'BioWare Dragon Age' or something while other games like Gears of War 2 and Rock Band are mentioned by name...

Hate to quote myself on this but to continue this oddity...

More reason for doubt that it is Dragon Age - The listing from IGN/Gamespy's E3 Live coverage schedule simply has 10AM on Thursday as 'TBA' [To be Announced] all secretive-like

If it were Dragon Age Origins it would simply say so... hmmmm

Ditto on the SWMMO, but in general I try to syphon as much info out of E3 as possible from home hehe.  I read somewhere that this could be the last E3? Anyone know what's up with that?  Something about repeated cuts...

I honestly don't think that's the case... I don't think they're willing to throw more money on such a sinking ship.  These registered names could be something else, or they could be for a new MMO, but I just don't see it being a SWG expansion especially since SOE announced a while back that there would be no further expansions to SWG - I remember reading someone else posted it but don't have a link for in unfortunately.

All indications would suggest they're letting SWG 'bleed out' while pulling in as much cash as still possible for now.

That Lord of the Rings Conquest game looks like it'll be really fun and has a great early videos up on GameTrailers.com.  Here is the latest: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36165.html

The graphics at least at this stage in development look pretty sub-par but it still looks like good times to me!

I remember posting it here for people a long time back - only then it was terrible quality because someone snuck a cam into an early screening or something like that.  This one's better quality and it was nice to watch it again.  Heath's Joker is going to rule. Rip, Mr. Ledger.

Don't worry Deacon....that game (and Force Unleashed) will be ported. They swore they wouldnt port Mass Effect but they did. Give it time.  Consoles are a money pit; in two years they're graphics become absolete. So far the PS3 has lost 3.3 billion and the Xbox 360 has lost 5.4 Billion. PCs are still gaining momentum. Financially, developers will go back to PC en masse (especially when they realize it is just as easy to pirate a PS3 or Xbox360 as a PC is).

I think you're right, it will take some time for the both of them but they will come - and fraknly it's worth the wait by far.  Not since the days of Super Nintendo have I cared for a console system.

"Retailer Amazon has listed tentative dates and platforms for Star Wars Battlefront III, long rumored to be in development at Free Radical, developers of Haze and Timesplitters. While we’ve been under the impression that the UK based dev was hard at work we didn’t know how hard at work they are. According to Amazon, Battlefront III is coming to everything — Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, DS, PSP, PlayStation 2. OK, not everything, since it doesn’t list a PC version, but if these listings are accurate, anyone and everyone will have access to a version of the game come March 2009. We await more news at E3 next week."

No PC listing? what LucasArts... that's two titles now which are currently slated as a no show on PC - Force Unleashed now this...
