So you believe that Roman citizens who were Christians got hooked on a fairy tale by a "bunch of rejects" to the point that even though they were murdered en masse by Nero they still believed to the very end? To the ones who were impaled on a pole and lit on fire while still alive so that Nero could illuminate his evening banquets...they were engrossed by a Charismatic anarchist? Jesus said to give to Ceaser what is Ceaser and give to God what is God's. Christ also said to respect your leaders no matter how corrupt they are because God had willed them into office for whatever mysterious purpose and if these leaders sin, God will deal with them in His way...not through our revenge. These are not the words of an anarchist to me. Trust me....your arguments are severly flawed but I respect your faith on not believing in the obvious ;) |

The US is not the former USSR. This guy has based his "breakup" of the US on what he knows, the breakup of the USSR. Totally different situations and cirucmstances. while i do agree with that, I wont be surprised whatsoever, if we have a another civil war of sorts to split the nation again. Think about it, the nation, for the last two decades has been virtually torn 50/50 with conservatism and liberalism. Im not saying it will happen but if it does in my life time (another civil war), I will not be surprised at all. |

Teens get takeaway food at fatal crash A GROUP of teenagers involved in a crash that killed an 82-year-old man and left his 72-year-old partner fighting for her life had fast food delivered to them at the crash site, a witness says. The elderly couple were in a van involved in a collision at a Gold Coast roundabout with an unregistered car allegedly driven by a disqualified teen driver on Saturday, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported. Residents who lived near the roundabout in Miami said that as they rushed to help the couple, the five teenagers in the Subaru WRX got out and watched. Resident Stephen Waymouth said the van was still rolling when he looked over his fence. When he reached it he saw the man was unconscious and the woman was "wailing". While residents comforted the distressed woman, the five teens stood motionless on the footpath, he said.
Mr Waymouth said he was "disgusted" by their behaviour. "They just stood there, and then they sat down and then someone dropped Maccas off to them," he said. "What is it with young people where they can just turn off to human injury?" said Mr Atzori. Fire crews used the jaws of life to cut the roof off the van and the elderly couple were taken to Gold Coast Hospital. The woman suffered abdominal and leg injuries and the man had chest injuries. He died later in hospital. Broadbeach police Sergeant Brendon O'Reilly said the Subaru and its owner were known to police - the vehicle had been impounded for 48 hours on November 13 in relation to hooning offences. Police interviewed the five youths at the scene. The driver was charged with obstructing police while three of the others were handcuffed but not charged. No other charges had been laid last night.

A coroner in Britain has blamed the death of a 12-year-old boy on his excessive use of spray-on deodorant. It seems a volatile agent in the spray upset the boy's heart rhythm, but air quality experts say the boy's death is no reason to avoid the products. Daniel Hurley was using Lynx spray-on deodorant in the bathroom of his Derbyshire home when he collapsed in January. He died five days later in hospital because from a cardiac arrhythmia, or abnormal heart rhythms. His father Robert Hurley told the coronial inquest that Daniel was a fit and healthy young man who was proud of his appearance, and lavish in his use of hair gels and deodorants, which he often sprayed all over his clothes. By spraying the deodorant in a confined space, the coroner found, the concentration of solvents affected the 12-year-old's heart. His death followed a previous incident several weeks earlier, when he had collapsed in the bathroom but immediately recovered. The New South Wales president of the Clean Air Society, Kerrie Ross, says spray-on deodorant is safe if used properly. "It was not being used in accordance with instructions; it was not being used in accordance with what one would normally call common sense," she said. "In normal use, in normal sensible use, they wouldn't be a problem. [But] if you lock yourself in a room, you have a medical condition, you overuse it, of course you can cause problems. "And if you fail to heed warnings from previous attacks, of course you can get into problems. But that's the same with anything." There are some differences in the compositions of Lynx products sold in Britain and Australia. But they both carry warnings against spraying large amounts of the products in confined spaces. Ms Ross says users should pay attention to the warnings. "Just use them with common sense, use them according to the instructions and it should be OK. It seems he was using excessive quantity," he said. The manufacturer of Lynx deodorant, Unilever, has expressed condolences to the Hurley family; the company says it has never seen a case like this before. |

Democratic Politicians = Not too bright. Marxists. Living Disney Cartoons and thinks the world is like Starfleet. Republican Politicians = Greedy and Snobbish Independents = On the right track. Anyone who gets upset at independents really need to get over it because that's going to be the future. More and more will become independent. I, on the other hand, like pie/ |
