It's sad to see those servers go, but this is the start of the end. I think when SW:TOR launches either SWG is gone or alot of servers will be gone. I still have some of my old pre-cu screenshots and i am talking to some of my old guildies. But this is just causing a chain reaction. First these, over about 4/6months another 2/3 will shut down and then it's matter of time before the pull the plug.

OMG this looks so cool, i really cant wait. I am not that a Star Trek fan, but i really like to play the games. And this MMO will be awesome, as long as SOE don't even think about it. If it ever will have a sentence in it with "working with SOE" or similiar, i will quit. :P

But for now, awesome work dev team..

World of Warcraft is a awesome mmo if you like to play with hundreds of players at one spot, I am playing it atm. 
I've played SWG, EQ2, CoH/CoV and GuildWars, all of them exept GW is laggin like shit when you have more than 20 players at one spot.
My old guild in EQ, when they are raiding, they have to lower their graphics so they can raid.

In SWG the server almost crashed when people has a full guild meeting. When we did pvp in Bestine, it took me more than 10 secs to walk 1 meter.

Why would anyone pay for a game that requires you to lower you grahic's and lag you out while trying to raid?

With WoW i dont have that problem, sure the graphics arent state of the art, but they do it's job more than well.. I have lots of addons running with my warlock, but i dont have to lower my res or my graphics when i do a instance.

So my say is done, i love to play WoW and like they said before me, World of Warcraft might even through EQ from the throne as the longest MMO played ever....

Finaly, they come to their sences... After 2 years, they finaly come to their sences. The NGE (NotGoodEnough) was the worst mistake that a company could make! Never ever will i play a game that has SOE involved with it..

Well unlike some people here, i like the looks and features of the new exspansion. Like someone said before, lvl cap raising and new exspansions are the ways of mmo's.
I am one of the few who accually dont raid, cant bring up the intrests for it, and i really like the idea of lvling my warlock to lvl 80. I am in a awsome guild, and we help each other out when possible, and if you want to raid you can, and vice versa.

We as a guild are really looking forward to discovering new area's and getting new mount, WoW was good and with the tBC and WotLK we cant wait to explore and conquer this new land.

SOE is going to use it in EQ3, but screw SOE, i am never going to play a MMO from them again, for screwing up the best MMO, SWG (PRE-CU, but CU made CH a very usefull prof).

I think the SG MMO is going to be a very good game to play, tho i am looking forward to Star Trek Online.
