I played the Beta of TSW and my first impression was "Wow" this looks interesting and different until you got over the first impression and became aware of just how plain it was, yes it's had it extras like skill and talent wheels but it was too linier.

For me the story line/quest line was exactly the same regardless what character you played as, and I felt I was just playing a spinoff of SWTOR and for a game that was meant to be far reaching I found the character movement and indeed the graphics to be so substandard compared to say AOC and the combat system given what as in AOC was a step backwards not forwards.

Now I know this was just the Beta and things may have changed since release but for me the biggest game killer was not the broken quest lines or poor character movement and combat system in the beta but the Community that was present in the Beta, I personally found most of them to be rude, unhelpful and spiteful and every time someone tried to help out another person they were constantly being told to shut up as what they were doing was giving out spoilers or being told to just go Google it.

For me, the Secret World had the potential to be and become something special simple given the direction Funcom had taken with the story line and Lore however the fact that it was in the end a linier grind fest with a community that seemed to spit on everyone who used general chat turned me away from the game and in fact has guaranteed I won't return to it even if it goes F2P.

Are these people takeing the piss, improved group content, what groups????

Most people have left already and it is nearly imposible to find a partner let alone a group, i'm currently on the Bloodrand server and was in one of the largest raiding guilds there but the guild is no more, people have left the game simple because Funcom don't fix whats broken.

This is a good game, Ooops, did I say  is a good game, I meant to say was, you need people to play it first before you can even call it a game.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game, I have 3xlvl80's 2xlvl70's and the rest are between 30 to 50, and I don't realy care about DX10 or even a expansion, I simple want to be able to play with other people or even solo in a fairly bug free MMO, thats all I want.

After the last patch about 50% of the comments all contained the same line "Closeing my account" you would think that Funcom would take note.

I realy can't say how much more I can put up with myself before I leave the game as well but one thing is sure and that is if thay don't do anything major about the problems before War or WoTLK arrive I feel we can say goodbye to AoC.

What a bunch of tight fisted old ladys you all are, either play the game or move on, its that simple.

You dont want to pay for it then go play a free game them.

You want to play AoC them stop bitching and go play it.

Never mind what it is doing to the game, try looking at it from a different point of view, thay (Blizz) are going after the man who makes it and not the people who use it.

Thats like sueing ford because someone drove over your foot in one of there cars.

Surley if you make a piece of software and sell it thats not illegal it only becomes illegal IF the person you sold it to uses it knowing to do so is illegal.

for example, if i was to breed Pitbulls and sell you a pupp that you later used for illegal dogfighting that means you are in the wrong and not me for selling you the pup in the first place.

I kind of hope this guy wins his case, i think blizz are going after the wrong person here.
