Alas, it's still North-America only.

That's a shallow way of promoting their Premium benefits. (Also, horrible text and art.)

Going ON topic...Something has to be wrong if an event like that needs to be organized in the first place. Then again, it seems like a good way to keep the GMs busy.

This is just blatant advertising, isn't it? For a game that doesn't really deserve it, either. I could start about the horrible graphics, which seems to force the creators to hide screenshots, but graphics aren't everything.

There's only four classes, with obvious differences in strength. This combined with a rock-paper-scissors system of elemental weaknesses just forces players to take a specific build if they want to level faster.

The site itself forces the 'money-earning in-game' advertisements upon visitors, which is just plain horrible. It puts the term 'gold farming' in a new light.

"Let's friend, let's party!" is also a horrible slogan.

Edit: Hmm, seems that I was able to download the client and actually get as far as the login screen without the same annoying message that MapleGlobal gave me. Hope for Europeans?

Well, there WAS no congestion. Now it's a 23 minute wait until it starts downloading. But thanks for the tip! I am going to try finding songs for the musician skill.

What was the proper term for this kind of thing again? Oh yes. "Polish a turd, it's still a turd!"

Just because they put material collecting in a slightly new jacket doesn't mean it's different from the agonizing grinding for resources. "Legendary events and fascinating qualities"? It's not like I heard the past dozen of MMO's advertise their second grade junk like that.

Come on, how many people still fall for those kind of obvious lies?

Why am I not surprised that such a horrible game will also be playable on a PS3?

I honestly apologize if I made anyone download and play this game. My lord, such horrible controls. Such slow response. Such GRINDING. "Yeah, we got classes that focus on crafting stuff!" You know what that means? It means "Hey, now you can grind on two different things!"

The 'starter blob' monster isn't even interesting to beat up. At least Poring were fun to lure and smack. These things are...boring. Just like the attacks.

I'm starting to think companies like IGG try to appeal to a younger audience, because lately the increase in cute/anime MMORPGs has been quite noticable. Ofcourse there's going to be complaints about things like looks and originality, but hey. If you're 8 years old it doesn't really matter. (Unless you grew up playing WoW, but I'd be afraid to meet someone like that)

Me? I'm going to give it a shot like every other cutesy game I've seen. I saw that they have robots and technicians here, which might still my hunger for Steampunk related things.

When I saw the screenshots, I started laughing. It looks a lot like RO yeah, except that a lot of things are done in '3D' instead of sprites.

At least it's not as bad as Secret of the Solstice. Now THAT is a real RO ripoff.

Haha! Oh, you have so much to learn about MMORPG's. The search will take FOREVER.

I'm starting to hate games that pretend their features are original and totally new. There's nothing new about any mmo anymore, stop with the false advertising already.

Okay, simple discussion:

What do you like to do most in an MMO, and which MMO is the best example of it?

Okay, we get it. You people have a difference in opinion on SWG. Your quarreling isn't helping, and somehow I doubt a good crafting game has been found yet. So make up your minds and say it.

Oh, and Goonzu's graphics harm the gameplay a lot. It's a disaster.

For the sake of discussion I'm going to disagree with everything you just said.

Whatever it was that you said, because it's hard to read.

To be honest, I've been in the DDO beta.

It was the first mmo that made me nauseous. Not to mention how difficult it was to find a group. Not to mention that walking in the 'main area'  was a puke-inducing pain in the butt.

No, I got D&D books here. If I get that desperate I'll just try to find a group and play the tabletop version again.

Sorry if you get paid to convince people towards DDO, but I'm not going back there. Especially now that it costs money to play.
