Originally posted by Abriael I would really like to know from where are you getting your so called facts? you seem quite sure that Tera and GW2 will be limited by its engine limitations? and no they both look like usual Korean MMO fare is not a valid reason, hell this reasoning doesn't even make sense. GW engine was developed by Anet from scratch and they have nothing to do with Korea or Korean MMOS what so ever. Also if graphics are pleasing to eyes and runs well on your machine an average player could care less for all the techincal blabbering. And both Tera and GW2 look good and run well and releasing with amazing gameplay right out of the box. Everything that you said regarding polygon and texture reslution is still an opinion unless you have some insider information regarding TERA and GW2 engines and their future limitations but you do not. |

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Do Weapon Restrictions Bug You?
News Discussion « General Discussion 7/13/11 10:18:51 AM
Originally posted by Leoghan So its more like refinement of single player MMO experince and not introduction because it already exists. Even Rift has a personal storyline which goes all the way till the end. Yeah it might not be presented in the same way as SWTOR but it is still quite fundamental and important to the storyline and more of RIFT. |

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Do Weapon Restrictions Bug You?
News Discussion « General Discussion 7/13/11 9:53:23 AM
Originally posted by Leoghan I don't understand what you mean on a large scale because every MMO that i have played since EQ2 had very large scale single player experince. Only because you are gven your own personal instance doesn't make it any more single player than running around solo in open world. You are still soloing and questing alone with few group quests sprinkled here and there. All recent MMOS can be soloed all the way to the level cap and are full of single player quests and storylines. |

Can Planetside 2 evolve into great sandbox?
General Discussion « PlanetSide 2 7/13/11 9:36:10 AM
I also hope that it doesn't evolve into sandbox. I am looking for an action game just the way original was. Also all the features that you mentioned in OP are implemented in themeparks too. I think you mean more like a hybrid sandbox? |

The Perfect MMO (Wishful Thinking)
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/13/11 3:29:43 AM
There is no such things as perfect MMO, yes not even GW2 will be perfect. I think a lot of players are just setting themselves for disappointment when they look for perfection. |

Got to be the most original post so far on WOW forums i think. Reference to hello Kitty online, back handed insults at the entire player base and gross generalisations...yep never read any of the before. |

A closer look at multiplayer and MMO feel: what demo players say

Originally posted by potapithikos You seem quite confident of your deduction skills that game is going to suck. So forgive me if it is hard to take your opinion merely as an opinion. Also your opinion is based on hersay and what you have read or seen not what you experinced first hands. And even if want to arrive at a conclusion on basis of all info avilable on internet, it would be fairly positive. But atleast i am not trying to shove that down everyone's throat now am i? |

A closer look at multiplayer and MMO feel: what demo players say
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/12/11 8:18:12 AM
Originally posted by potapithikos I read your original post and it was juvenile at best. And no forums is not for positive opinions only but no one shoudl try to pass their opinions as facts. As far your deductive skills to analyze info? lol i had to laugh at that one. That is a more polite way to say 'hey i am still talking out of my a**". Play the game or a demo/trial then give us your opinions in a mature way without making any reference to sh*t/poop etc and some one might take you seriously. |

TSW graphically beats GW2 and TOR?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/09/11 5:29:37 AM
In environment, artstyle, atmorsphere TSW is top notch. If i have to chose an over all winner then TSW surely beats GW2 and TOR. No competiton here. I am big Lovercraft fan and i can see his influence everywhere in the environments. |

Originally posted by Tardcore This is exactly how i felt after reading OP's post. Why to scream and cry when you stick your hand in fire on purpose? even though you know you are going to get burned..yet again. One of the main reasons why i never take his posts seriously, neither should you or anyone else for that matter. |

Ok i lost all interest in GW2 ;). I am sick of fantasy MMOS anyways. |
