they way they made wow look its to let people play on old or low end pc simple and sweet but this will hurt them in the end when new real time animation and real time enviromental damage games come out they will have to redo alot or come out with a wow2 to keep up with the new power that pc can use

i played swg befor the cu after and quit after the nge if a new star wars mmo was comming out i wish they would follow the time line of the movies and not have 1000s jedi around it was nice to see a jedi in the old days couse you know they worked hard has hell to get there, so even if a swg2 was commming out it would suck couse it would be a game full of jedi again nothing like the game befor the cu

Mxmissle you are right we would never let any other industry sell us products that are not ready for sale ... hummm..but what about all them recalls in the news ... guess we are letting all the companies sell us junk... so its not just the gaming industry but yes gaming companies are the worst, i think couse it's easy to just sell a beta game to the masses and just patch up later on.. well that is the way it's been for years now  and i don't see it changing for a long time....

there is a single player game not just multi.. if people forgot i been playing and then checking the site every few minutes so if you need your hellgate fix solo in single play is good stuff

best mmo would be using the palatum pencile and paper RPG system you would get 5 or 7 great mmo from them they have robotech tmnt and a fantasy book and the system you can transfer your character to any game oh yeah ther was rifts and there was a horror game to so you would be able to play one character in all of the mmo made with that system now tell me that would not be great get board playing tmnt mutants port him to roboteck take out some zentradi for a few weeks then take your character and go slay a few dragons in there fantasy and so on and on you get my point

i beta tested this game was fun for a few days but got boring, its a over the shoulder wanna be like a fps with elements of magic mixed in, sure lots will love this game couse they don' t have the skill to play hard core FPS  but are good with games with auto aim, the graphics are very nice ill give a 9/10 for that and its more action then WoW so ill give it 7/10 for that but over all its a 6.5  max for me but hey if you like this go nuts have fun shoot up some alien scum.

the RvR in War is not like the PvP in WoW only way it would be is on the PVP servers of WOW where you can attack the main citys of the factions / realm. PvP is player vs player sounds more like a one on one duel or even small group battle type of game but RvR sounds more like army vs army type of gaming

i have a question what makes WoW so great? i mean come on it's simple and basic as it gets, if you are a hard core old school gamer you love and miss the hard games of the passed like eq when it came out and you had to run all over the place and wait for a boat, now its port here port there go go go i mean come on. only thing WoW is good for is teaching companies that if they dumb down there games they will have mass profits,

nothing wrong with them making money im all for that but i mean when i buy a game and its somthing i love i hate when the companies start to cave in to the people that cry about every thing ! "PVP is not fair the wizard spells hit me to hard" well  really a wizard can kill you with one spell that is what wizards DO !! i mean come on when you change a game so you dont lose you forum cry babies you are killing the game for your loyal players that have been there from the start and who have helped you keep a game going for the starting years.

i'm so sick of people saying " well i don't want to work in a game after i come home from work"  yes fine i undersand that and it's a good point but you don't have to work in a game if you don't want just dont craft, don't harvest herbs for potions... just pick up  your weapon and go kill stuff not that hard, or "it takes to long to get to the place i want to go i have to run all over the place" well if you dont want to look at the nice landscapes and sky and lakes and forests in the game why are  you playing ? what you just want to see flashing buffs and spell effects and get massive amouts of tresure for doing nothing ?? i mean come on !!

the problem for todays MMO is the companies caving in to the newer give me all now for nothing type of players and they don't care about the "older" gamer that werethere in the begining that helped them make the maket damand for the games. and how did we make the demand you ask well all the kids that play now where sitting by mom and dad's side watching them play there games and what about the kids that there parents never played games come from well there friends with kids that had them ...

SWG should die ! SOE should give up on that WoW clone of a game and let a real star wars fan companie make a real game that follows ther time line of the LAST MOVIE where there are not millions of jedi running around like a bunch of fool !!! SwG was the only game i was playing for year till SOE change the game to somthing i never would have payed one penny for !!!

well if hardcore means you only get one life i hope they add a healer/rezer type class or this game will be hard as hell and i like it !!! hah

the sad fact is some day you will have to pay to play any mulit player game,  the bean counters of today see how much other companies are make and they want to follow the leader,  just think about it, you are paying for any game you play now online couse my internet is not free and i didn't get a free pc to play / surf the net with,its just a matter of time that they will just suck the money out of you bank account.

only way i see this not happening is if we all stop buying games that are P2P. buy games like guild wars that are free to play online you say? think about that  you pay 50-60$ for there game then they make you pay 50$ for new content every 3 to 6 months its the same as P2P  

ah but there are tonnes of free to play games on the net now you say !! yes there are tonnes of them if you like there grind fest style of play if you don't buy money / items from there item malls.

just wait for the real "next gen" styles of MMO that will be out i say in the next 3 to 5 years with real time animation, real time enviromental destruction game that the AI is so real you think you are really killing some one couse they "really don't want to die" come on now  think about that ill be happy to give up my 10-15$ a month for a game like that

yes hell gate looks good and yes the its fun i played the beta but calling this next gen for me is a streach go look at unleash the foce movies there you will see real next gen gaming
