Sadly, it is people with attitudes like this that make it easy for games companies to continue doing what they are doing.

Because in many countries there are things you can do about games that don't work as advertised or don't work at all.

You just have to stop being a victim.

ok so i am playing the victim when i buy a game and think i own it ? really do you think you own anything but the right to use the game with  there rules hanging over your head ? really ? try to use there program in ways not stated in there agreements you accept when installing it...

you only have to read there contract to see you take a risk of using there program and if installing this breaks your computer well to bad you accepted the contract you are out of luck

any rights you think you have after you install this game in your pc is a dream

it was F2p when a new companie took over but it has gone back to a P2p but i think the tutorial island is F2p with a skill cap at 20s not 100% sure on that, only trying to remember what i seen in there last Email

city of heros was a game all i would use tells for was to say yes to a request to join a group

i use there flagging system to find groups and once in a group with people that knew how to play very little chat was going on, only when waiting for the tank to herd the mobs there was little bits of chat

eve is a good game to just sit and mine and run missions no need to chat with anyone can close down the window and never have to see chat in game

been playing champions online now and that game is easy to solo at cap with 1 character now have only really chatted with friends that log in

warhammer is another game easy to lvl cap solo and you dont even have to group with anyone in mass raids on forts just be in the crowd and hit npc to get some chance to get a reward

any really good MMO has no "end game" this is why people get to this so called end of the game and cry there is no content,

a good MMO will give you a choice to do what ever you want when ever you want in the game once you cap out your skills if they let you cap them to start

this new trend of lvl as fast as you can to get to the end just to find out there is nothing to do is killing newer MMO of today

a good MMO NEVER ENDS !  saying i am at the end game of a MMO that is a oxymoron and most that want never ending games with this end game are morons !

a good never ending MMo gives you a reason to log in to PLAY, they let you harvest to craft items that decay so you have a reason to spend time making items

people that call them self  "gamers" today are glory hogs that run as fast as they can to the end just to say they made it first

real gamers love the race for the FUN TIMES they get along the way !!

....a real MMO is a virtual world !!

the machine has taken away the magic and imagination  of our virtuel worlds, and has given us procssesed products for the masses

the machine has put in the real mantra  of  "if you are not one of us you are strange and a target to be made fun"  so any that hate the change to our beloved old ways of  games are now out of touch with the popular mass... shame really but our playground has now  turned into a factory to feed the machine it's favorite food... money

the machine has destroyed any free way of living on our planet so why would they not cross over to the virtual worlds where there were free happy souls ?? Hahaha what a crazy reality eh ?

Do you really want content that would have been added regularly now to be added through item shops? That is what will happen if you don't understand. Edited: Added Lotro, they are now selling "virtual packs". Scratched them off my playlist. I may just play single player games.

"all your games" really ? you think you own anything when you buy a key code for a game ?

only thing you buy is the right to give them money...

so why get mad when they think of  a new way for you to give them even more of your money ?

i remember people being insulted over having to play a monthly fee for a game, paying for the box should give you the right to play ... right anyone else remember them days?

having the option to go from 1st to 3rd is always a good thing for any game, an i think a 1st person view is awesome, in EQ i had the best time in 1st person view seeing my kicks and swinging my blade in a fight that was just the best times, but you could go in 3rd if you wanted so having the options to play how you want is always a bonus

giving your player base more options is never a bad thing

new players, do the starter missions, and find a corp, the help and advice isnt just useful.. its vital

i played eve and i solo 99% of the time i was a member of a 00 corp but all i like to do is mine, and defending our space was not to much fun for me, not every one plays games to be social, some just enjoy the game world, i like eve but i moved on cause that is just me i never stay with any game more then a few months now...

so yes eve is good fun for  players that don't have the time for a corp, it's not just a group game, you can mine and run missions for isk if you only have a half hour to play, but some missions take a long time to finish but you can log off and just lose the time bonus payout and still come back to finish it later when you do have time.

if the goal is to take over one target like a fort or city just one control point the mass pvp will just be bigger mob wins, mass pvp needs to have multiple goals to keep the zerg to a minimum if you ask me, having one main goal with a few half dozen control points that do not lock with hour long timers and  you have to stay there and defend  would spread out the battle to smaller more tactical game play.

when i played planet side the FPS mmo from SoE that is one thing i like about the game is a small team could run around and take over a tower to open up the main base the main team was assaulting, if i remember that right i could be off or thinking of a other game

yes if you are out of range you still see the pretty colors and explosions but you will do 0 damage torps have short range look at the missile flying time X speed to get it's max range

I checked it out in the internet and it made me remember the PC game "The Sims". :)

not even close to The sims ya when you use emotes your guys talk gibberish, only game i can say this game is like it would be a sci-fi eq,  it has a good 1st person view like eq has and it is a massive world like eq but it's a skill base system and i have been on and off this game for over 5 years, i only tossed my toon 50 bucks to get some mining and hunting gear and i can go out and kill and try to mine and make money to fix and buy back my ammo.

people buy land and make real money off this game and it has been like this from day 1, if you can get into a good guild i am sure you could make good money to pay for ingame stuff and might be able to make a few bucks on the side.. i just play for fun and it's why i only go on there a few days and off for a few months.

been getting emails about how they are adding new quest system and upgraded there graphic with the cry engine so that is why i am down load it now to see the new landscapes.

 Entropia Universe is a game you need to run around and use your mining tools to find places to mine and you have to go out and hunt mobs to get parts to make stuff, but i have not played that game to much in the past few months so might have changed but they did upgrade there graphs so i might be back there some time soon

pvp is fun at lvl 21 you get new map and new mode get a power with crippling challenge upgrade on it to kill people that just use block as a defence you don't need pre made team but no lie it does help, assist train targets rocks in any pvp game

so if you like team combat pvp from lvl 1 to 20 is ther then solo pvp in the bash game opens up at 21 hope they add more maps and types of game but game is still new so only time will tell im having a blast in pve and pvp

and it's only 1 server so Q take seconds to a minute before you can join a game

i am playing both, champs is great love the no class system, aion is more classic mmo type game nothing really new the flying is cool and all but you get way more types of flying in champs

if you like the more  classic tank/healer/dps class system mmo games aion is a sure winner for ya

i like both so hard to say what you should play, try them both, make up your own mind is best advice i can give you

i have made and deleted over 50 characters for sure since i been in open beta to live

this is great for us alt aholics

you can pick any power from any set you want, just have to unlock them, if you take all in the might set you will unlock more in that set faster but as you pick powers you unlock some powers in all the other ones as well.

say you want this power in might called lets say mighty leap, well you need to pick 3 powers in the might set to unlock that or you can pick 5 total powers from any other set and that one will be unlocked

 by lvl 40 you get 14 powers and 2 travel power and a bunch of stat points and enhancer points to tweak powers, good times

 there was a character builder in the forums if you want more info on how you can really play around with powers

guess ill just go turn in my Cd, t shirts, jeans, the bag of "namebrand" chips back to the store, how dare people let me support items i want to buy easy and cheap!!!
