The game is not losing it is gaining. Our guild keeps growing everyday compared to all the other junk mmo's where our guild shrank over time.

Not surprised could had predicted this ... oh wait... I did when I canceled my sub after hitting lvl cap twice.

As I said, the problem was solved once I deactivated Crossfire.

Funny thing AOC never crashed on me even though I always had Crossfire enabled.

So yeah, anyone experiencing issues with the client DEACTIVATE CROSSFIRE and halve your performance... :(

Sweet, crossfire sucks anyways, should had got SLi anyways.

No Blizzard has not lost thier touch, I played D3 for many months and still enjoy it.  I can't say that for any other title on the market at the moment.  Nothing is good enough to keep you playing more than a month or two tops right now.  D3, I have been playing longer than that so it is a good sign for me and many other like minded gamers.  Blizzard has the 8 ball in the pocket still.

I'm asking as im hestitant to dive into it just like i did for RIFT after coming from WoW and finding the novelty wear thin after a few months of play...

Game is way better than Rift out the gate.  Also this game has way cooler features and mechanics, just saying.  It would never fail as bad as rift.

Hey, the wipe wasn't my fault, blame the priest. 

 But seriously, I know it's old school and traditional, but hey I enjoy healing/buffing the group, it's what I really like to do.

 

 

The scenary is def something I love in this game, the whole world design is pretty well done, it feels massive!

 

On a side note Kyleran how are you finding the priest? I have gone out of my comfort zone ( usually only play melee characters ) to go priest for our group, fun so far, seems like it can hold its own in combat.

I am playing a priesty as well, it is def a powerhouse of a class.  I am soloing everything so far no sweat.

When I frist tried the game during the last open beta, I have to admit I was drawn in by how fierce the characters were, but I really wasn't enjoying the combat. That and the 2nd dungeon you encounter just brought back so many amazing memories of EQ's Mistmoore. 

And I love that Tera does take the Ranged DPS formula and tosses it out the window, having to be up close and personal doging the attacks and teleporting around, nuking and running for you life is really a blast, I'm still getting used to it all...but it's fun.

There are a more than a few bad things to say about the game...the crafting is terrible and most of the time useless and the questing can be a little uninspired much like the story for the most part. 

However, Tera has hooked me...and thank god cause if I had to run Dragon Soul one more time I don't know what I would do LoL

Also,  no cast time on mounts is amazing

Sorry to ramble on, but i'm excited for what this game has in store it seems to just keep getting better and better as you progress

The level 35 dungeon looks insanely hard, so I can't wait to have a go at that!

crafting gets pretty beefy, you obviously have not got very deep yet of course only being level 27 but you will see... ;)

What are you talking about? This game has a political system, soloable BAMs, deathmatches, and is one of the few games with viable OWPvP and GvG. It even has Nexuses, which are like public raids where anyone can join. You make it sound much more generic than it really is.

It also has that combat system which is a much bigger change than what some people give it credit for. And on top of all of that the devs have pretty big plans in regards to future content.

these kinds of ppl refuse to absorb any positive elements of the game, gunning the game down with certain aspects and they never leave that subject. in their mind, they believe the game will always be the way  how they hated. no matter what have been implented.

He had some point... though quite a few false statements as well.

 

The whole leveling system is probably its weakest point... to the degree I couldn't bring myself to buy the game (paying for another and I can't dedicate myself to level quick enough to warrent a second subscription) I think its biggest flaw is its level grind. There are a lot of interesting features it has... but the journey to really get to explore those features is quite a rough and bumpy road.

easiest grind I have ever done, not sure why everyone is griping.... got to lvl 22 over night....

Also I don't care how you dress your quests up with Text, Sounds, Voice, Variety, we have done it all, they are all the same from mmo to mmo.... get over it.

you need to turn the rainbow and sunshine filter off because I see way more negative reviews and from my own personal experience I have only been in a few betas this bad and I been in them all. Tera is a much better game go go go, everyone should play.

Tera, while a good game that I have prepurchased, is not in the same league as this game...good try though

Tera is in a much higher league indeed. GW2 is old and not refreshing where TERA is and that is what the majority of gamers want not a puny few minority [mod edit]
