I don't agree at all, it's a beta, things fall over every once in a while and the one thing I will completely disagree on is the GM's who are a fary cry from any of the other GM's (who you don't see at all), the GM's in this game actually interact and involve you.

I got to say one thing, some of the players on HKO are surprisingly hardcore, I've been playing a bit and it's really nice and fun but some of these guys are like super-players.

The nice thing is that even though you're hardcore, the competitive element is nothing like in other mmo's, I like that.

I have a feeling that most of the people playing HKO are not going to be on Xfire....just a hunch you know

I noticed some chinese characters in some of the screenshots but that's likely to be the origin, clearly the website is all in english tells me this is intended for an english (speak US) market.

I don't think this game would not be able to go live without some strict security filters for the kids age group, I don't know what they are planning but with a brand like Hello Kitty I am fairly sure they will be wanting to protect kids safety, it's a bit like Disney isn't it?

Btw, who was the one posted about forced raiding in HKO? That would be too funny, what kind of raids would that be, the quest to drown the monster KillaCutiePies with the most fluffy pillow? LoL

but yes, my money is on HKO and I'm going to give it a try, laugh all you want! I'm going to play the game laughing all the way (or smiling or just being cute) rofl.

I think it has PvP as in pet vs. pet, but not sure about actual player PvP, there is some form of combat, I saw some pictures and blog entries where they were debating/discussing the merits of hitting starfish with a broom!

It's sort of Alice in wonderlandish surreal...if you think about it...

Love the enthusiasm! Yes I agree with you, this before WoW or any other hardcore MMO.

I did not get a chance to play the open beta, but I will have to try it when it's out there, I do not know of any other major branded mmorpg (real one) that is actually free to play?

well my problem is different, I registered, tried to enter my credit card and t says "system not available" the message is spcifically:

Sorry. This page is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

and customer support tells me I can't get a free trial becuse I have no credit card info, bit of a weird  circular logic there eh?

The term "free trial" and then asking someone to enter their credit card information is a little misleading, I wonder how many people forget about it and get charged. Happened to me a couple of times so I tend not to subscribe if its a credit card free trial.

The other thing is this "type the words" thing. Sometimes they are so obscure I can't possibly read it and then no matter how hard I try I cannot register, there has got to be a better way!
