Cryptic pretty much gave the middle finger to any honest player trying to play this game.

Sure I truly dislike those folks who found and used the exploits. But in all honostly they are not effecting my play experience in any way.  Perhaps I care more about my own fun then wondering how other people are doing ingame.

I don't mind the rollback, I would have minded a full wipe.

In real life if this happened, hyper inflaction would appear. Food, gas, overall prices would go up 100+% cause many exploiters could pay the higher prices but your salary would stay the same, it would still not affect you xD yea sure

If there was two almost identical mmorpgs, equally good at everything. But one f2p and one with box+sub I would play only the box+sub one.

I hate to play f2p mmos cause they are free to play ;) So I hope there will be more p2p in future !

+ gw was always b2p cause it has no real endgame and most hc players(raiders) would not sub

After having said that, if they do wipe the servers, it will demonstrate that neither Cryptic nor PWE have any concept of integrity. He purchased some part of the game and because the game is faulty and developers are idiots, he has rights to demand refund ;)

So many AD were duped that all the Zen on all the servers was bought out. Items on the AH were being sold for 20M or 30M AD each... Players were giving away Cats (bought companions) to anyone that asked for one...

In short, the whole Zen to AD conversion process was totally wrecked.

Everyone is slowly starting to understand that Neverwinter is really just a ''f2p'' mmorpg and is not worthy playing more than for few weeks ;)

We all know that neverwinter is now played a lot just because players have nothing else to play/its new and they are waiting for teso, wildstar, aa, arr or eqnext to be released :)

v 1.0 maybe kinda failed but it still was better than half recent mmos + they are completely remaking it, other companies would just milk the game for fast cash and thats all...

Neverwinter is full of exploiters and each day more ways of exploiting is being discovered. And you bet there are not banning majority of these players. In my eyes the game is ruined because of it, atleast the economy, etc. which is pretty important in mmorpg.

And it is F2P.  lvl 36 Devoted Cleric, didn't pay anything for the client, and have not paid any real money into the game at all. I don't believe I am missing out on anything at all.

I also believe I can with patience get everything that is in the store, ofc I've got patience by the bucket load, there are however plenty out there that want immediate gratification and for those schmucks there is the wonderful opportunity to hand over your cash to get all those wonderful things straight away.

As for the dupe, well I'm sure those that are advertising themselves as taking part or for helping to spread it that they may find their free accounts temp or perma banned, I hope it's the latter.

 

Casuals or players who play just for simple fun, enjoy foundry, etc. These dont care, but those who play 8+ hours a day they usually have to pay, cause they care about competition ;)
