I saw what u did there, very nice sir, very nice indeed.

Got them crossfire 5770's XFX I think. The ones that I thought ran kind of hot, they seem fine now, had to do a little tinkering. All I have to say is that they seem to perform like my 6970, and def better than the 6770 I have. I haven't seen a need to jump to the 7000 series.

Maybe I will soon enough but for now, 2x5770 are STILL hanging tight in i5 1155 systems.

And yes, can you please start blogging again Quiz, maybe throw a few hyperlinks for those of us that are less technically inclined?

I stopped logging into SWTOR, Tera and Rift after 2 days play on each thinking 'I cant be bothered.'

GW2 has given me that old hunger i had all those years ago to log in, play and bloody well enjoy.

Its a new dawn for me anyway and a long ruddy time coming!

Make sure to bash WOW. Most imortantly don't forget to mention number of years you spent in that MMO. Feel regret to gain sympathy and then announce how you are looking forward to play GW2 for similar number of years or more.

This trick never fails. Any gaming community will accept you with open arms and you will move from one borg assimilation (in your own words) to another.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind. Then I decided I didn't care one way or the other. If he THINKS he found a great game or if he ACTUALLY found one then great for him.

I was honestly hoping for a more indepth message to former WOW player though.

Although WoW made billions of dollars it was a terrible game. Imagine before eating at 5 star resturants and then McDonolds comes a long becomes the most successful resturant of all time. Then outragously all the 5 star resturants try to compete with McDonalds and started serving burgers and fries. Suddenly you couldn't get a good Filet Minon to save your life. That has been the pretty much been the history of MMOs.

Playing every beta you can and going through starter areas multiple times can make the launch feel stale. This is what could be happening. Though with GW2 I'm really only interested in the forum drama at the moment I have no desire to buy or play the game, now that weird 

I found this to be the case for me, burnt myself out in betas and stopped playing them.

But like you, my interest in this title is missing, actually preparing to return to EVE in fact. 

At the end of the day, GW2 is yet another iteration/refinement of the standard path kicked off by WOW and not anything like the games I really want to play.

Oh well, there's always Archeage on the horizon, in the meantime back to past I think.

I don't know, I think this is a weaksauce rule. This is why they have the ignore / block option along with the profanity filter or did I miss something? Unless they don't have those options available, then I understand, otherwise I'd have to say that most of you who are for banning him for an illogical joke are... paladins, along with the mod team over at GW2.

I've blocked enough players, including spammers, I REALLY don't see the ban reasoning. WHAT AM I MISSING?

Sounds like another Oprah / Dr. Phil moment. They must appeal to the most generally broad audience as possible.

In the case of sub based MMO's that's a contract and I don't think minors are allowed to enter a contract. Basically what I'm saying is, we don't need kids in MMO's but contracts can be impossible to enforce sometimes.

EDIT: Sometimes it is too late for a refund but I've never personally found that to be true.

I don't see anything wrong here. It wouldn't be the best way to get me sold on a game but, using sex to sell violence sounds fine.

Actually using any mehtod necessary to sell any entertainment product sounds A OK with me. Well, short of the threatening of physical harm.

Games, Tv shows, movies etc... All optional. If there are any issues to be discussed, they should be first addressed at the parental level, then at early schooling because after that, all other influences are superficial, the damage has already been done.

AND considering the state of pornography on the internet, the fact that any of these game ad "models" have any clothes at all says something positive.... I think.
