I had one foot out the door as soon as I saw BLizzards name on this. When they said they wanted to make it intuitive for WoW players, they lost me entirely. My translation of "more intuitive for WoW players" is this: IT is going to be a dumbed down, un intuitive card game with bright shiny colors and poor graphics that plays itself. No thanks.

I played it for a week then I could not stand it anymore. I gave my account to my 9 year old son and he is quite happily having a good ol time. Not a complete loss, just way too easy and not very engaging for me as an adult. Probably around the lv of my boy since he is having such a good time, so I cant really knock it since it is holding someones attention at least =)

Op seriously reminded me of my early days in the Army doing PT before the sun came up. Every soldier always complains about PT, especially before the sun comes up and on inclement weather days. On days when it would be raining or snowing and we would be out doing muscle days on the ground, we had a 1st Sgt that would take control of PT and do the cadence "WAAAH WAAAH WAAAH, I WANNA GO HOME, WAAH WAAAH WAAAH, I WANNA GO HOME!"

I started playing Smite in closed beta. It was ok, although it did feel awfully clunky and not very intuitive at all, it did hold my attention for quite some time. At the time, I was in my MOBA phase, playing Smite, LoL, Battle for Graxia, and DotA2. I left Smite for one reason and one reason only. Their ranked system. IT is, well, really really bad for lack of a more intelligent discription. What it bioled down to is you could only play one ranked match per every 45 minutes. The ranked Q window opened every 30 minutes then you had to wait another 15 minutes once you joined the Q. If you were busy, say in another match while waiting for the Q to open and missed the window, you were screwed. Ranked ladders IMHO, in ant MOBA are a must. Just not restricted ones that throttle you back and limit your access for no aparently good reason. No thanks, I cannot even remember the last time I played Smite. Currently enjoying the good ol click fest smash n loot PoE.

Other then trying to figure out if i think it is sad or funny that people have nothing better to do in their lives then to go to public boards on the internet and voice issues, I have not experienced what the OP is talking about. Always tons of people on, always groups if you want them. Always constant chat yes, but that is with any game when it is launched. Game is pretty good for a simple hack n slash. Games like this take very little skill to master or even enjoy and have a blast in. The only thing you need is a good mouse and a fast click finger. Thats all =P

Dual boot is easy. Just partition a space in ntfs and install your 2nd os there. Im on a 7 / xp dual boot right now.

 

 

 

edit: oh, and it would be prudent to do a backup first, U never know when something retarded can happen.
