Have a Razer Naga and love it.  Took a few days to get used to all the buttons but I use it for other games besides MMOs.  Never a hand cramp.

Update : Clarification, it's not a money issue, it's a not worth my money issue. If someone can release a game that keeps my interest for at least 6+months, I'll be the first to say "Shut up and take my money!"

 

Yep.  Been there done that and now play single player RPGs.

I haven't played Wizard101 recently myself, though I certainly enjoy the game - it has more varied content than most AAA games I've played, and it's good to see they're still continuing to expand.

 

I couldn't agree with you more.  I started playing Wizard101 since it seemed like a fun game to play with my kids.  It is a very family friendly game.  I have come to really enjoy it though and it is now the only MMO I play anymore.

Wow, people sure do waste a lot of energy slamming a review.  I'll put it simply.  I am currently playing TSW and loving it.  It is refreshingly different.  The game is definitly not for everyone but what game is.  I will get my $50 out of it and then some.  I will continue to play until I don't have fun any more and then move on.  It is a game nor a marriage.   Some people seem to expect a game to entertain them for the next 10 years. 

In general I think it's fair.  A 7 is good.  We've just been so biased by the inflated scores that are normally given out.  I haven't played all that far yet but so far I'm enjoying the hell out of it.  We'll see if it sticks.

I beg you all to think long and hard about how badly the furture of mmo's and gaming in general will be if we end up with a system like xbox uses and you pay for content packs and such... This is a disaster waiting to happen and I urge every single one of you gamers to boy cott any game coming out using the f2p model. I realise Gw2 is coming out and everyone is saying "oh well, Ill just buy the box and never use the cash shop"... That might be the case where you end up grinding gold and trading for gems or cash shop currency but they will make it so you will be grinding insane amounts of time into these games. farming gold to trade for gems.. Trust me, games will not be games anymore.

Most of us play games to acquire loot and play through game content to attain the best gear and viritual characters we can with our time... This newly refined pay model will take all the fun out of games, when I can just buy my progress... How pathetic.. paying for progression in a game. Why bother playing? Maybe I'm getting too old (33) and its the new era of stupid taking over. I just don't get how anyone can not see where this will end up for us, the end users of the games..

I don't know what else to say, and Im certain there is more articulate gamers out there who feel the same way and who also have the foresight to see 5 years down the road when everything is free to play but pay to win...  I'm not supporting guildwars 2 not because of the pay model, but simply because the game is utterly boring. The pay model sealed the deal though as I would have normally bought the box and played for 30 days to see where the game ended up taking me.. but the pay model of pay to win left a sour taste in my mouth. And you can bet your bottom dollar, they will continually add things into that cash shop to milk the end users and after a few months you will be hooked and develop an emotional tie to your guilds and friends, and "oh so and so bought that content pack maybe I should too or I won't be able to play with them.."

I'm telling you guys right now, this will not end well for gamers.... Don't support this garbage.. play the game all you want but don't spend a dime in those shops..

How much do some of you people play!  One month of content?  Go outside every once in awhile.  There is a world beyond the basement.

I don't have an issue with the naming in TSW.  I ended up using a number in my nickname.  I will admit to having more difficulty thinking up a name since it takes place in the "real" world though.  I couldn't just think up a random name like "rathgar urgnok" (or some such name) like in a fantasy based MMO.

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised that PvP is not a big part of this game.  It was never meant to be.  As has been stated before it is primarily a PvE game and I'm cool with that.  Not everyone is looking to "pwn da n00bs".  I would much rather enjoy the quests and story line and with TSW I'm loving it so far.

Fail?  Perhaps for you.  I'm not sure why the world as developed (not post-apocalyptic anyway) has any bearing on whether it should have open world PvP.  You like PvP obviously so find a game with it.  Funcom has made it clear from early on that there wouldn't be any open world PvP.  I for one am enjoying the game and how well it is story driven.  They did a heck of a job with the quests, cut scenes, and voice acting.  There is a lot of difficulty just not the kind you are looking for.
