Halfmad	DAOC OR WOW!?!?! Round Table Pub (General) « Dark Age of Camelot 10/20/06 9:10:27 AM I've played both and currently I'm about to cancel my WoW account, not entirely sure if I'll go play DAOC on the US servers (I was playing on the EU servers until March this year when I left). Both games have good and bad point, personally I think DAOC is overall a much better game but it's simply been badly advertised over the years. Purely my own opinion of course, I've given WoW two chances to impress so far over the past year or so and it's failed even though a few friends did try to get me into it. PVE wise I don't find it any less boring than DAOC, questing in WoW is perhaps slightly less tedious and easier but for some odd reason I find that when you do have to grind XP on WoW it's far, far more boring than DAOC. I can't put my finger on it but I just don't enjoy it. Wish I prefered WoW, it's were all my friends now play but I guess I'll have to find a DAOC server somewhere to play on now and then.

Agreed, UO wins by a mile. so much so I'm actually thinking of returning to it since I'm fed up of WoW and DAOC
