I've played some vangaurd, and tbh i really liked it, i just didnt feel like paying for it at the time, i dont really know what bothered me about it thinking back on it now. AND i bought the damn game and digital downloaded it so i can always go back and check it out. I think it had something to do with the way even on my pc (which is pretty beefy, though not the beefiest) i still had a bit of lag here and there because the whole world is supposed to be streamline, my issue with that is, if even a comp like mine has a couple hiccups now and then whats the point of an open world?I d much rather play a game with zones that runs perfectly, im not a kid with ADD who has to have everything right now so it dosent bother me to wait a few seconds for a zone to load. |

If isometric is your thing, then Tibia is the only truly isometric game out there, tbh. I played helbreath a while back, but i was uncomfortable with the speed at which you level up, it left little to no room to get aquainted with your abilities. Granted now that ive played hundreds of mmo's i could easily adapt and overcome, but at the time it just seemed far too easy. |

You'd be surprised how many europeans can speak pretty decent english... |

lol yeah those are the BR i was talking about in that earlier post. Im on Luminera if you get sick of that server for any reason, level 16 druid atm, on a brand new account though so thats why i got a nub char |
|
|
hence why i started a char on a non pvp server, but then you have to deal with a shitload of botters and crowded higher level hunting grounds because people never get hunted or die cept from mobs, plus you cant train with summons :(. I havent decided if imma stay on the non pvp server when i go back or not. |

Just thought id share my experience with tibia with you. Back in middle school (ages ago) i came across it, i loved it, played it with even my lieelt dial-up connection where i lagged so bad a pally was impossible to play. To this day i still go back every once and then to see whats up with it, and i can tell you theyve made strides you wouldnt believe lol. The things that bothwered me about the game though are as follows: 2) This kinda relates to 1 again but the fact that on PvP servers anyone can just gank your ass for no reason, sure they get a skull now (didnt when i started) but that dosent mean you didnt just lose a level or two and possibly your gear plus whatever was in your backpack... 3) Brazilian players. These guys annoy the shit outta me, not to mention a lot of them aren't very bright. Fortunately i met one who was the opposite of most, he was cool, curteous(sp too lazy right now), and spoke a good amount of english, which made it that much better. Other than these 3 things though, i loved the game also, being isometric when you have AoE spells and the Field type spells which cause damage when enemies walk through them and then DoT afterwards adds a whole new level of strategy. My only wish as far as improvement of the game is concerned is toning down the death penalty and maybe adding a class or two. |

TcoS looks horrible, the combat looks glitchy, slow and akward as hell |
|

Personally id pick a pokemon mmo up in a heartbeat, regardless of its pre-ordained "kiddy" factor |
