Gahh, this game is such a mess. They really need to do something about it!

I've also been thinking of trying this game, but from what I understand it's hard to catch up. It seems only logic to start a fresh server now when they market eve as much as they do, on gamespot etc.

It was much better then the boring game we have now... much much better. Think if it had been worked with and polished.

Considering how genuinely boring this game has become, they should start up some classic servers asap.

I would stay away from this game for one simple reason.... it's boring.

After reading the April 1 newsleter it feels like listening to a guy that is excusing himself all the time... pathetic....

I think SOE should give Obraik his own affiliate link since he is promoting this game like there was no tomorrow.

Chapter 5 was dedicated completely to crafters and entertainers.  Chapter 6 had a good amount of content for crafters as well.  Chapter 7 is also meant to include new cotnent for crafters both from the Heroics and the Collections system.

 

I have to admit, I do find it rather amusing that every anti-SWG person feels they need to have a go at trying to run this Chapter down and it hasn't even been released yet

Why not make a chapter for traders and smugglers instead? Make them important for other players. Make other professions rely on smuggler and traders to get their stuff. This chapter seems more like a chapter for small children.

Not that bad idea. It's my character that makes me resub from time to time. I think I will follow your example.

I'm not kdding Crafters, can also rev-eng looted items the best you can make is a triple +35, Luck, Agility, Stamina they have made crafters viable again after the last two chapters.

Crafting is not only about making money. When they made sub-components useless so it wasn't possible to craft something unique they destroyed the crafting system.

And that's where you will quite the game again. It's just so boring on kashykk (even legacy quests are more entertaining) and since there is no other way of lvling there is no reason to keep playing the game.

I really believed that SWG was it's way back but before re-subbing I decided to check out the official forum. All I see is posts about how bad the game is. Lots of people whining and talking about bugs and how smugglers still can't smuggle for other players etc. Sounds like a really broken game. I guess there is no point hoping any more.

oki, thx for the answears.I will try pvp server first and if it gets to much ganking I go for pve-servers.
I am thinking of playing wow for the first time. I like pve but also pvp specially at the endgame. Is there any good pvp on the "normal" server or should I go with pvp-servers even though I also like to pve?

You played the CU. There was no lvl's Pre-CU.
tbh JTL can be played just as good or even better with the mouse, remember it's a mmorpg flight sim so it means best equip win... It wont be like the other flight sims out there.
