Looks very dodgy. "Add to shopping cart" buttons stolen from amazon etc

And they have the "Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1", a phone that isn't out yet, and not coming out for another 6 months or more....

If we are allowed to have nukes, why shouldn't they?

I only have this to say:

Ms. Coulter (in a Vader like tone): Lord Azrael never told you what happened to your parents, did he?

Lyra(hanging on from the pipes on the Bespin Abyss) He told me enough... he told me you killed them!

Ms. Coulter: No Lyra, I am your Mother!

Lyra: That's not true! That's IMPOSSIBLE!

Ms. Coulter: Search your golden compass Lyra, you know it to be true.

Lyra: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Ms. Coulter: Join me, and with the golden compass I will teach you the power of the Magisterium! We can rule all the parallel universes as mother and daughter!

(Lyra falls off bespin cloud city abyss thingy)

Haha Thought the exact same thing while that scene unfolded on the screen.

I read the trilogy. Loved it. Specially the first book.

Watched the movie today. I don't really know. It was ok I guess. They had altered some stuff, and towards the end it really changed quite a bit, and it all progressed way to fast.

Also I didn't liked how they toned down the religious criticism that you find in the books. Makes the "Dust" and all the stuff relating to it seem kinda stupid. If they didn't want to include the criticism they should have explained the whole backstory/backdrop in a better way.

When the oil runs out Norway hopes to deal with it through this:

And Moore stated that the US ranks #64 in terms of how many women it has in it's government. It wasn't the rank of the US on the development index.

Slickinfinit, your mocking the 9/11 conspiracy people, with irony and sarcasm right?

No shit.

Can't say I like it. Every game that uses SpeedTree has almost identical looking trees. Takes you at most 5 seconds to figure out if a game uses SpeedTree or not.

Of course, if you buy a version of the game from a different region, you'll get that version of the game.

Yay,

The setting of Counterstrike, probably the most famous multiplayer shooter ever, is counter terrorists vs terrorists. Nothing more.

It started out as a mod for Halflife, that is all it has in common.

People get rather honest when they are drunk. That is my experience, mostly.

So if you don't want to play with the "Clipped" German version - prob gonna have to buy from a different country.

That was the plan anyway. I like the games better in English and not in German.

Remember it isn't only Al Gore who got it. He shares it with the UN Climate Panel.

Does anyone know if the rating thing will check what copy you have of the game, or where you connect from?

I'm seriously hoping it's the first. Since I don't want to have my experience limited by the fucked up game ratings here in Germany

Isn't he playing in Southland Tales, some movie by the director of Donnie Darko? Saw the trailer, didn't know what to think of it.

Looks good.

One question, and if the answer is a spoiler please say so and I'll eventually figure it out. What are the things on the character's legs? When I make a portal to look at myself, it almost looks like she's got bracelets on her calves that have long springs or pieces of metal that loop around behind her foot. It's kind of wierd looking.

Noticed how she doesn't take any damage when hitting the floor from great heights? It's some sort of "android" springs or legs. That is my take on it.

Anyway, whats portal about ? A girl testing a new gun or what or is it more too it.

I a nut shell, yes.

The plot, as far as I could tell, really doesn't get much deeper than some woman following orders from a rude computer who you eventually go against. And you happen to have a nifty portal gun.

Everyone claims it somehow ties into the HL2 universe, however after having beat it I could see no connections.

None? Then you didn't pay much attention. It's mentioned in Episode 2. And for instance Black Mesa is mentioned in Portal. And several other neat details.

He has a very good point

Yeah it's a great game. Haven't played it that much now after release, since I was busy completing the other games in the package. I really, really recommend Portal. It's just a couple of hours, but so much fun

Yeah as a doctor it is crucial that you heal at all times. Übercharge is, well über It can really turn games around.

The Pyro is a spy bane, yeah. Also very effective to have him cover for Engineers that camp a corner or so with dispensers and sentries.

Demoman: Hide your stickybombs

Engineer: Set up your dispenser first, and then a sentry next to it. Let's you keep upgrading that sentry almost without breaks.
