After launch of VG i stayed back like after launch of AoC. Now i play AoC with a lot of players who played since launch and it looks the game is going through the right way. Much more palyers in last months. And much more after new patch. Yes a lot of players are sad from this update, but .... that is normal in a way of big changes like in this.

I hope the VG will have the same. I kept this game back, because it failed on launch too and i still wait. But it looks that they will have problems to make this game mor epopulated. Like u said they want to relaunch it and release some relay big change update, what will take an attention of potential players. I hope one day it will go :)

I cant understand, why a lot of players dont like older games and still looking forward for new releases. If i can say ... now is AoC another game, VG looks much better than was in release. The same was in EQ2 ... EQ2 is one of the content most full games ever and how its around new palyers comunity? Dead... ye, why they all want to go into new games and throwing that games back. Yes im looking forward to play SWTOR, may be Mortal Online etc. .. but why to say i wait for this games i will not play old crap ... damn, why? ... when something will be launched, yes, it can bee good, it can be great, but still ... after a few years it will be much and much better... but a lot of these palyers who waited for these new titles will not see it, because they will be in another noe games in these times. I dont understand, how can be fun for most MMO player to be "Launch tester / Late beta testers" of much release games ....

I dont get it. Its very strange to see how ppl in AoC see all things around 1.0.5. A lot of players likes it that i know. Im on Fury. I dont understand how someone can say AoC is history. Man ... every older MMO is history in a front of new MMOs in a way to be released, that have great potencial. Lotro is still great game and a lot of players left into Warhammer, Everquest 2 is still great game and a lot of players left into lotro at release. A lot of  WoW palyers now are in AoC and Lotro. PPL are going through. If u have like MMOs u feel exigence to test them all :) ...

I like play a game that i love. Lotro was one of my most favorite MMOS ever. I have played it 1,5 of year. I still ike it, but i like a bit WoW too so after this 1,5 i played some months more wow. After these months i played now fifth month AoC and i like it. I dont think that MMOgameing is about camping in one game. For a lot of players its a 4 years long camp in WoW ... or another game. I play currently game if i have taste on it.

AoC isnt history .. a lot of new players still going into game. Only in our guild, we have 20+ new players in last 3 weeks. From it its around 10 old players reactivated and second half are new completly fresh players from WoW and Lotro the most.

All of us we have like 1.5 patch. I think its more complexity game now and its good. It not only about gank now. I like PVE much more now. We have good group of players from may be 5 different guilds and we are going through instances. Its fun for all of us. Its bitter much harder to play without fails and mobs are little bit thougher.

New itemization is good and player stats are on of the best and deepest ive ever see in MMOs. Only in may be Anarchy Online is more number around stats now :D ... and EQ2 and these more mature games ... finaly ..now it looks much like MMOrpg and not like some kind of GuildWars game ...

I have ranger alt and i must say hes much lesser on DPS than was before patch. But im sad for this? no. I like it .... fight is more about think what next skill i will use now. Not only assasination after assasination. Kill them all hided from behind. It was fun for a lot of these who now tolking about what the hell is going on nooow in PvP .....

Only thing i dont like is bad balance of some casters. But i hope its going to be better in next patches.

Great work Funcom ... game looks now much more palyable since release.  Only please in the first steps, now work on balances in PvP and then will be great to work on highend individual content like more deeper crafting, player housing, activities like herbalism, fishing, etc.... things that are important to feel ingame some smell of virtual living. What is important for a lot of players. To feel ingame virtual life. You are on a good way.

I dont know how globaly, but i still meet a lot of players and a lot of new players on high lvls, that stoped games a lot of months ago. A lot of them now say ... im like newb, im here after 6 months. It looks good i like it. In our guild on Fury we have 15+ new players in last 3 weeks, where half of them are old players that moved back and second half ew players that payed after trial. A lot of other ppl, my friends, going to go into game after they will pass theyr last month of subscription in currently payed game.

I think game looks fresh in last months and i like new system the most. Today its not only about ganking, but PVE going to be better and better. And thios game wants to be better in PVE, because without it, it another GuildWars like fighting game without deep. Only one thing i dont like in 1.0.5 is bad rebalance. I think Necro is the biggest unbalance fail ever in all AoC patches line. But like they said, now is the most important way of development fixing of these unbalances.

I hope game have theyr second breath. More boxes of game sold in 3 last months, more discussed, more patched.

I hope its going to be better, but FC must have theyr eyes still open now and doing very good in way of what palyer want the most. If they will keep that, community will be happy like in way of development of Turbines Lotro.

I can't catch on, why every new game must be compared with WoW. Yes, because 90% of MMO players don't know any other MMO game on the market. I apprehend, that can be compared WoW with some similar title. But how can someone compare two differrent games with completly different game system? I will go play something, because its different and fun to play, not for why its better or not from something ....

your english is pretty ok, i understood everything - and yes, the review wasn't unbiased, the reviewer posted here that they only make reviews of games that they like and also play, they didn't give it a rating of 9.5, readers of their site did that, like with all the other games, that explains the weird scores that some of these games have. :)

I dont think that can be clearly objectively based review on DFO, what can take an 9/10 score for game. I dont play it. Only know this game from reviews, videos, posts and my friends refers. Im head redactor on www.mmorp.cz site for around 4 years and i was redactor of gamesport.cz and reviewer for gamezone.cz some years back, so im not newb in this way.

DF in my eyes isnt and cant be perfect title. In all ways, this game has HC system "wannabelike UO" but in many ways, this game havent a lot to call me in. May be Mortal Online will have got it. But not DF...

If some game wants to be hardcore, wants to simulate virtual woirld, virtual living ... thats the right hc game in my eyes. If u remove FPS aiming, full drop and skillbased system, this will be one of the worst games on the market..

I dont want to rate this game, i dont know this game a lot to can do it. I only want to say, the game is overated by many players who like this game. Seem like on spain web review. I say again, game isnt that great to take 9/10 ... because this game only made one step to be little bit different, but isnt unique. If some player who dont want FPS aiming in game, who dont need full drop in PvP will look for a new mmo to play, he will miss this game by a loong bow. If someone want to rate a game, must keep in mind to rate it objectively, not subjectively. It not nepends on "what reviewer likes on game" but on "what player in general" can like on this game. Another important is to rate all aspects of game ... graphics, sound, service, lags, ping, community, price, content, play fun, etc. and all realy objective.

Repeating again i dont want to say here,. this game is bad or good. Only what i say is, in my eyes this game should be fun to play in some ways, but this game not looks perfect. And i cant rate game subjectively 9/10 only for reason i like to play it. Most skilled ?? Damn, please not more ... i will kill myself. Skilled in what? ... the real answer is, only skilled in one game. In DF. Yes, all games wants another skill, another play in wow, another style in EQ, another in Lotro, another in conan. If u are "Mr. Skilled, u can't compare it with other MMO's" ... still the same like im verry skilled in COD, doesn't mean i will beat everyone here in CS ...... isn't it true ? ...

That big open world ...yes, is realy big, but not so big like they said before launch.

Full loot and realtime aiming .. yes, thats are good quality of this game.

Yes i like that, i like type of game where i can be everything i want, if i will one month use one handed sword i'll be more skilled with it. If i will also run run run i will be faster ....... uuuuuuh, whyyyy my god everyone in game like that use scripts to skillup it all faster up ???? aaaaaahh, yes, because everyone wants to have it the best and highest. I like sandbox type of games, played Shadowbane, played UO ... not so much like every classical UO player here, but played them.. i know what are big pros of these system, but still it has some cons ... ant that are many of them why is this hc style isnt a lot popular in today times. U cant compare what's better, u can say whats better for you, but it shouldnt be best for all .... i like today diversity of MMO titles, because everyone can search for a game the best builded for him.

I like deep system of this game, but should be more thought to prevent cheating and making it easyer for everyone. That makes a lot of differences between palyers and everyopne wants to be better, everyone will try to make his way easyer.

What i realy dislike is technical face of game .... crappy models and may be the worst animation in last 5 years i saw.

When i do some quests here a lot of ppl going through these locations around lvl 40 ....

I was only afraid of "AoC is dead" like a lot of ppl said. But i started in AoC a few days ago and im realy nicely surprised. In a low lvl locations its full of low lvl players. A lot, it seems, are realy new playes, because lot of them havent guild tag. I take a chance to this game as lately as now, because a lot of friends said me about pros / cons of this game in past. Now it seems to be much much better and yes, combat system looks to be verry interesting. And technicaly stage of game looks good too. I havent problems with FPS / Ping, not lags. All servers seems to be on medium population.

Yes i do and i like it.

Many times before, i didnt, on my old computer, where all MB of ram was so much for me.

But since a lot of my friends started to use it, me too.

It has a good screenshot and video making, with autohosting system, now in beta live gameplay streaming function and verry good Voice chat, good usable when is my ventrilo server offline, or some other reasons.

The other good reason is, when my friend plays something, i can speak with him, write to him and he dont want to jump from game on desktop.

Yes, for many gamers it can looks like something unusable, but when u one time start it, u have it and u use it.

And the last good is, it have a fully compatible MSN plugin now, and i hope, ICQ, and other protocols will be usable soon.

The last thing is, i know a lot of MMO players who have X-fire and the truth is a lot of MMO players plays some FPS too :)

Cant recruit someone into it, but only can describe pros for me.

But still it is one of the best MMOs on market. And one of best looking in high graphical options too. How many of MMOs have better graphic?  I speak about playable, good mmos, not something like AoC or Vanguard, or somethink other with prereleased release :) wheres only one thing interesting... modern graphic. I think, i will most likely play by years of developement brushed game with little old graphics, than great looking unplayable game with content for no more then 3 months of play.

WoW still havent the greatest graphics today, but its good playable. Lotro have a verry nice graphics in my opinion and i like it .... but after 4 years, new games will have more interesting look. But ? ... Lotro will have large world and lot of unbugged funny content, same like EQ2 or WoW, or other succesfull games with years of good support.

I like great graphics, but still i think, more important is how is game enjoyable and good made.

I played lotro for year and a half (now i wait for Moria), after that i tried month of EQ2 and now i play month of WoW .... (i must try these older games, because that passed me when i played some other game). Detachedly, these unequal games are both something other, both little differnetly playable, and with some other mechanisms.

But both verry enyoyable for me and i like them. Not DX10 cryengine made graphic, but fun with couple of friends that i know from my real life ... and tahts something more then hi-tech looking.

Friends plays on Runyeye server PvE and they play pvp too, on some US server.

So, i should play both :D

I must play on Runyeye, because im from europe. Sure i have a band of friends what have a guild. Sometimes a lot of them arent much time online, but 2 times a week they have raid days and they have still full raid group. So its one of pros.

And sorry if it looks like dumbass question, but i only wanted to know, how it realy looks ingame :)

Yes, i tryed the game year ago on my old computer. Now on my new machine i tryed it one more and i can say this game is pretty good. But like you said, my only worries are about number of active players. Because i saw some places ingame looks empty.

My friends said, its because :

1. older game - not many new players in newbie zones, like in each other game.

2. a lot of places to play, or start - on higher lvl zones it looks better they said.

Game is great playable, i know... i tried it last 14 days on friends second account with free month of playtime.

Only problem i have in number of players, because i dont want to feel ingame like in singleplayer RPG.

Hi, i play LOTRO, but still play one game is sometimes boring to me. I had a 3 months break, for not a lot of play time and i was little overplayed by this game since 1 year of play. Need to changing it with something other, to prevent me from stereotype. I must look for some older games, because nothing good game was released since LOTRO. May be now AoC, but it seems to be undeveloped and i think i do better if i will wait a few months with it... or not ??

The hotest candidate in my eyes is EQ2 with overloaded world and content, but my only fears are number of active player ingame. Is world still alive, or i will traveling trough the world alone ??

I dont want hundred of players in the zone, but i dont want to be only one breathing player in it.

Please, how its about that very good looking 4 years old game?

This game isnt the best MMO of all time, only new basics of control system and pretty modern graphic with good propaganda makes this game good selling.

This game isnt bad, but its primary for easygoing players, casual players and players who dont like compley mmos and for players of games basicaly made on these facts like WoW, etc.

All of these games have something good in it. I now play Everquest 2 .. Why? Because i like on it, its not only slashing and running around.
