i gave up on roleplaying fiew year ago sadly......i knew RPlaying was dead when some guy i ran into on a roleplaying server and i asked him if he could be so kind to show the the nearest town.

Instead of answering something like "you may find a small town to the east of here" he sayd the following "WTF?, you high man.....use your f*cking map nOOb".......and yes this was on a RP-server so yeah.....roleplaying died i guess.

wondering what people like that are doing on RP servers.....must be me i guess.

lolz, all those who think the titan game will be announced......be ready to be dissappointed again.

MAYBE (altough its still to early for this....) you will get a peek at D3 1st exp.

Prolly there will be alot of e-sports you can follow (warcraft, starcraft and if lucky a special wow boss) but that will be it.

i DO think there might be a bit more info on the wow movie tough.....if not, alot of people will lose money from buying the blizzcon tickets and will get abso-freakin-lutely nothing in return except watching a korean guy do e-sport and a "cool" poster to take home.

No thnx blizz.....give us titan info or just stop this blizzcon thing since the last 2 we didnt get any real info on any of your games tbh.

lol, al those new things is just BS, the game isnt even half the game it used to be as when T2A came out.

Unless they make the skillgaining ALOT harder again as it used to be and full reg suits where not even in game this game is just an empty shell of wat it used to be.

i feel ya m8, i have had the same feeling for a while.....maybe taking away the holy trinity was not such a good idea after all imho.

I also love the game, one of the best mmo's i played in many years and i still play it....but just not very often anymore just because it feels i dont have role in this world.

imho it has become a lobby game just like (yes i am going to say it :p ) wow.....just sitting near a dungeon to grind for gear.

Exploring is still fun, but lately it is ALL i do and that becomes boring too after a fiew hours.....when i switch to crafting i also dont see WHY i am crafting because the stuff we make just does not sell good enough to be a full time crafter/trader in game.

And one more thing from my expirience is the following, people dont help out other as much as they did in the beginning......it has become more of a single player game lately (IMHO). yesterday i was exploring and killing some mobs when 2 extra mobs agro me, i see a player walking towards me (so i think, cool some help) but he brings 2 extra mobs and just runs by me and runs of.

After some kiting and plingplinging the crap out of these mobs it hit me that helping people is no longer intersting enough to do to most people once they hit 80 in GW2.

Tbh i feel more connected to my char in PoE then i do with my chars in GW2 lately.

Maybe we both had a bad day or maybe the GW2 just dont care anymore because they are already at lvl cap??

always have a extra backup of your empty DBase. As a Dbase user/expert you should know this.

i aint no expert but if you use an SQL DBase you can use "reseed" option i think (but you need to delete the users manualy or by querry if i am correct for this to work.

same here, most of the time within a fiew hours.....for me factors to keep playing are these:

1. is the noob zone fun and integrated into the story? if not, i might just almost quit there.

2. is the story good enough to keep me wanting more?

3. is there enough to do next to just questing? (exploring, crafting, gathering...)

4. is the community friendly?

5. does the lvling go to fast?

If on more then 3 of these my answer is....."meh"....then i prolly quit this game within the first week or so.

To me games should be fun and this is different for all of us......so if it aint fun for me like i expect it to be then i just move on to the next game.

I don't agree with the above macro because it takes the tactics of chosing the correct heal from the player and makes it automated.

I do not like unbalanced zerg fest neither. But you cannot always be certain theres balanced number on a battlefield - like real life.

 

But I did nail what I hate about PvE in my post.

 

Quests are boring.

Dungeons are boring

Fighting NPCs are just boring for me.

 

I like to fight vs. real people.

 

I haven't touched the dungeons or raids in the newest WoW expansions, because I go straight to BGs. Cannot be arsed with PvE.

 

That is just my opinion :)

i do respect your opinion....and don't get me wrong, i dont want to see this game fail just because it's not realy my kinda thing to do nothing BUT pvp.

I realy hope that this games works for all you pvp/rvr freaks out there.

On the other hand i sometimes think, man....what a waste, i spent a fiew 100€ on a gfx card in my new rig to play cartoon gfx?

So what i am trying to say here is that (in my case) IF the gameplay is good enough it kinda overrides the need for high res gfx for me, but most of the time that just isn't the case.

I realy can't say WStar is- or is not one of those untill i had the chance to try it out myself.

the difference was that back in UO and EQ days it was called roleplaying (a bad person) and most of the time it wasnt personal........but when i login to a game and a guy comes hopping in front of me calling me gay.....i cant see it not being personal.
