I can't for the life of me see why people use their site. Kotaku and Eurogamers are by far probably the biggest black marks on internet gaming culture. 

Aboslutely not. The game would then just become a FPS, rather than an MMO. All the problems that exist in the game, will still exist in the game, 4x XP or not.

Get a corporate line. They aren't much more expensive for the same speeds, they have much higher speeds available, and you don't need a business license.... you just have to pay. 

In Little Rock for instance, you can get 6mbps down 768k up, for $70/mo with a static IP. (Which means you can host your own server if you buy the extra hardware). That's comparable to about $50/mo for 8mbps on Residential. 

I forget the prices for the higher speeds, but it gets quite a bit cheaper per mbps as you go up and I think the max speed you can get is around 100mbps, where as Residential caps at 25.

Try Wurm. 

Spend at least enough time to get use to the terrible (and I mean TERRIBLE) graphics, and you will find a quality, in-depth, well done game that's exactly what you're looking for and probably alot more. 

But, the graphics got to me after about 4months and I quit. 

Great community as well. 

As the first poster in the other thread mentioned, everyone and their dog has at least 10 game ideas. Your's is not special if you can't fund/create it yourself. Sorry.

I never understood why people keep touting that FE has great crafting. 

You take X amount of Elements and make Y Item. How is that any different from any other game out there? The only difference in FE crafting and WoW crafting, is that there are longer manufacturing times on FE's items. You don't get random stats. You can't really upgrade items. You really can't do much, other than just make Y and Y is always Y no matter if Bob made it or Jim made it, it's still the exact same item.

Wait...... greatest game? I just mentioned everything the game has to offer. I think it may in fact be the worst game in history.

Doubtful, it's a newly released game and the price has been set by the publisher, not the companies who sell it. 

You will have a better shot at getting it for that price next Christmas (2012)

There's an option to disable P2P transfer completely from WoW's downloader. It won't upload anything after that.

Watch your network speed.

It still uploads, but at a slower rate. But, at times when the computer itself isn't being used... the speed will increase drastically. It doesn't take into account the other computers on the network. 

It's pretty much the only 3rd party program, besides Microsoft Office and Firefox, my wife has installed on her computer.

1. It will completely shut down a household internet connection, by using every bit of available upload/download. There is no way to throttle this.

2. You can't really turn it off. There are a few options where you can say for it to turn off, but if you monitor your internet connection.... it's not really off. 

3. It's packaged into the game itself. I don't play, but the wife does and if she leaves her computer on it will just destroy the internet in our house.

I'm the same way, play music in the shower, while I'm working (or posting to forums), driving, running, cycling, (not sex) but when it comes to games, first thing I do is turn off the background music.

Then I put on my own sound track (if not listening to voice chat) which includes some form of online Alternative radio.

I'm always surprised when people praise a games soundtrack, didn't even remember they had one.

 

 

That's always baffled me too, especially in MMOs. I don't understand how people can listen to the same repetative music for hours upon hours while playing an MMO.

I think this patch is going to change the game a little bit too much. Having a constant stream of jungle mobs to kill who give buffs, is going to weigh things heavily in favor of those champions who need them more than others. While I haven't seen any of the specs on the buffs, I did see a green one on wolves which is Attack Speed. Now, this is going to make those champs who are already on the verge of late game OP, that much more OP. Why waste your coveted 6th slot on some more Attack Speed, when you can just 1 shot the wolf who has it and respawns before you can get to the enemy base? 

Not to mention, why the hell they would be gearing the game around the lower level summoners anyway. Making the jungle do less damage and die faster is just going to take alot of strategy out of the game at lvl 30 and higher Elos, like someone else has already mentioned in this thread. 

And another question......... why would MMORPG.com re-upload the video on their account. That really doesn't make much sense and is that even legal?
