Originally posted by skydiver12 true, when it's the typical implementation of item decay : get back to npc and pay a few gold for a full repaired item - more a meaningless money sink than an actual component of the economy, which it should have been. but when done right, it strengthens the stickability and community of a given game - a game were explorers and crafters have both a meaningfull place, interacting with eachother. in SWG crafters were server famous, because it wasn't just a one time purchase. You had to make friends, and keep the lines open, because your Power Hammer was gonna wear out, and you needed to know who the crafter with the best Crafting Stations were to get back in the game. Without item decay why would you care who made your armour? Ones achieved the highest tier? |

tbh im not seeing why you had to start another thread about this. if you scrolled abit down you would have seen:http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/373197/Massivelycom-Age-of-Wushu-is-probably-the-greatest-sandbox-youll-never-play.html or http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/373541/So-what-do-you-do-in-this-game.html |

What bothers me the most is the lack of progression in gathering skills, there isnt something to work towards. Been farming the highest crops and mining gold/lead from day one, in EvE as a miner you had to work for your ship and mining skills, you had a goal. im missing the joy of achieving a goal. As my time is limited (1hour a day) i havent crafted that much, but im feeling it will be the same. Buy the recipe and materials from a player and use it. To be honest im not seeing the joy in this. As i havent played that much and my time is limited by the restrictions, im hopping im wrong. |

Originally posted by Loktofeit It's a 7.4gb download, just give it a try. Im one of those people that hate killing mob after mob and grinding quests. Havent touched any mob yet, did some fishing, farming and crafting gear for guild mates who gave me the needed mats.So yes non combat activities can be your primary activities. What makes the game actually different other than how they do the fighting? Its more sandboxy than most of them. Best Items are player crafted (weapons, armor, food....) |

Originally posted by MadDemon64 how can you say this? If you've played you would know it's pay to win: buying zen from PWE ->leaves-> gold-> gems, weapons and armor. How is fw not pay to win? very good , really?
most of your time you will be doing : - Do Henry quests 10x a day (mostly errands, running back and fourth) - Do God's Trial every day (instance event that takes place 2x daily, takes about a half hour) - Send your pet on a Journey. tell me which part of FW is so good, cause im missing it.

Non combat activities. couldnt care less about story or action combat, the idea of killing mob after mob or 'grinding' quests. one of the reasons i havent enjoyed gaming in a long time. |

I have been reporting everyday for over a week the same bots on vabbi(eu),winterknell(cursed shore) one of the reasons i quit.
