i just max my sith sorc and enjoyed the story-line. act 3 was very interesting us(or me) coz we need to get rid of the "evil" inside our head. then, we can kill the darth lord.

when i completed my class story and max level. i was like " what now" ? what am i suppose to do now? 

answer: farm gears....

lot of of players skip the fp in swtor and grind HM again and again just to reach max level...what is the point if you ask me.....

This has been the case for years though. I remember I tried Lineage 2 years ago and in the 2 days I played it, I never even found a real player, I only saw bots.

if you haven't play f2p, then dont comment, it's very different now...

everywhere are crowded with people now. people leave their computer on 24/7 for mentors buff and exp, hence town will be very laggy if you still using Sata drive.

it also difficult to hunt mobs now. everying going to the same place and hunt the same mobs to complete their daily quest..hence it is very competitive now, lot of pking going on.

exp'ing might be easier now but after lv 78, you will have an issue....grind will come back eventually....

the pvp is fine, learn 2 play. it is not really gear depandent compare to Aion or Lineage 2.  thanks god it never follow BF3 unlocking system, i do not want to kill 100 enemies or headshot 100 enemies just to unlock the gear. why did the author suggest that is beyond me...

when  i played rift beta, i encountered the dynamic event and it reminded me cov/coh Alien invasion. for those who played that before will know what i mean.

I uninstalled RIFT after 8 hrs of play time.

and i do no know why GW2 will beat rift hands down, the game isn't out yet. am i in another universe ? fringe science? man, so many fan boys in this thread....

alien invasion came from NCsoft....shame on you trion ! have some originity.

Lineage 2 f2p approach is excellent. Unlike other f2p mmo, you need to  pay real cash to unlock area, map, item and etc..

But L2 does not, the cash items are mostly luxury . you dont have to buy any things and yet can have full access to the server/game. thumbs up for NCsoft.

Since Aion is from NCsoft, why can't they follow the same approach?  sad to see aion failing.....L2 is an older game but still doing better...

swtor fail or success will depend on how well they wrote the stories. those who played beta already will know all  8 classes will have their own stories.  this is why this game attracts a lot of players.

most people already tired of the same old model. they want more than killing,pvping, raiding..they want "substance". well, maybe not everyone but me.

if you dont care about story line, then TOR might not be for you.

for example I played Fallout:new vegas for more than 200 hours on PS3. why? coz the story line, each companions have their own stories, which made me want to play again.
