Heh...its gonna happen, people will keep this up for quite awhile. When AoC had its highly based first month release it happend..but this game has been talked about for months on end. So all they get is "Yes we are making it"  But they get nothing other then that. Course they will be wanting to hit it from every side with threads. Good and bad. Give it a few more months and see what comes up. Honestly im excited to see what they will do.

From reading all this stuff and from what I have gathered from the game. Alot of people were expecting it to be a wow clone. Flame me or what ever, but by how some of you have put some things on here, you were expecting it to follow in WoW.

The company was probably not expecting people to get to the higher areas so quickly. (Which brings the grind from WoW into talk.) Honestly some of you guys really need to grow up and stop being such little kids. hate it or not, ive seen enough Hate posts on here alone to start talking in these threads.

And for those who say AoC is like Guild Wars. You never played guild wars. The entire game of Gw is set in zoned areas. AoC is not set in small areas. Sure it has them but the overall area isn't. In GW you could cross a zone in a few minutes fighting.

Ok so Seige battles are not in the game yet. Gives you time to prepare for them. Alot of you have taken a single bad thing about the game and turned it into a stand tall of hate this game for this reason. Looking at the bad side of one thing is just stupid. Think of it as giving you time to prepare for major pvp.

And those who say it will lag in big battles, prove it to us.

The so called defenders are just more of disgruntled players looking to bash a game that is barely out. All games with have issues on release. No matter how polished or unpolished it might be.  I will also add that this post seems more along the lines of personal opinion. You can hate it all you like but people are still gonna play it.  One thing alot of these basers need to get is some real hard proof information, not just your word.

I have to say im proud to see someone post about all the crap we have been seeing on here. I can't even go to the homepage and scroll down to check a few news items and i see someone bad mouthing AoC. Still sad to see you leave cause of a few bad mouthing people. Every game has its problems at the start. I still can't wait to play AoC once i get a better pc. Still hope you do try and stay around these kids are just idiots.

When i see the offical announcement of the game, then i will say you were right, till then, nothing but pure speculation.

This crafting/upgrade system they have in the game is in a sense the crafting. The game itself allows you to do what you want. If you want, you can just focus purely on crafting or upgrading players equipment. It can be a business of sorts.

Player housing would be a nice touch. Other then the guild halls, there really isn't a housing system. Hopefully they will rethink of putting it in. Or it may be planned after the game is released. They did this in Lotro and it works pretty well.

I honestly wish more companys would follow this example. Most companys are too hung up in trying to make money. What they do not understand is that if you break the mold that is what we see today, you could possibly make more money then others. Sure it is a big risk to take. You hold the pros in one hand and the cons in another.

I do hope you guys at mmo magic can break this mold. Much luck and respect your company for trying something different.

As it has been said several times already. The game as they make it sound is being based around a personal choice for the player. If you want to take your time, go right on ahead and do that. if you want to sit on your chair for hours on end doing things in the game, you can do that as well.  The website Q&A awnsers alot of these questions fo you take the time to look.

The pay to play has been used for a long time, and just because it may use that, doesn't mean people won't play it. WoW is a prime example of hey it doesn't matter of pay to play. Some people just can't pay the money to play each month.

To the one who started this thread. As many have said, try it out before you buy it. Its a enjoy or not enjoy situation with the game. Free trials are always good to see if you like it or not so at least try it out before buying. To the guy who freaked out with the red lettering, its a game man, relax.

Play for two and a half years, post nge. Came back and left. The game will die eventually, that is a given fact with all the new mmos comeing out (I.E aoc Warhammer online) It has its up and downs but itv has more downs then ups. Personal opinion though.

I had a problem like this before. Not excatly but something close. The web pages for canceling subscriptions, would not load up for me at all. I continued to get "A error occured please try later." Figured it was a problem that would be fixed. Well a month goes by and same problem. Talked with one of these so called CSR's i think they are called, and they said it was a problem on my side. Which it wasen't. So they do have some problems with subscriptions at times.

Blizzard did something wright when they made WoW. Yes it has 10 million players, and yes it is at the top. I think someone else said it once already, This is all personal opinion of the game and other games. Ive played wow before. Only reason why i didn't like it because of all the little kids trash talking over the game. Still, this is all a personal view of the game and other games we play.

Thats the rumor thats been going around the last few years. From what i have read before they are doing the series as we all saw in the first post. "many thanks" And also a live action one which might not be done for a long while. And one thing guys. Yes that have teamed up with LA on and new mmo, Id love a new swg mmo the old one is just the same as other mmos ive played. But untill a offical statement has been said im just gonna watch and wait.
