And if this thread isn't proof that any of the decent mmorpg.com community that remained have up and left, I don't know what is. |

Is WoW worth playing for PvP? (I HATE arena)

Arena is a competetive venue for pvp. What I "get out of it" is the satisfaction of outplaying mirror comps or countercomps, and what the other team loses, along with 14x the rating of a win, is knowing they've been outplayed. I don't want their gold or gear, or for ther character to permanently die. That's fucking stupid, especially for the type of pvp arena is. Go auto your launchers or rail guns, bet you're really good at it. |

Is WoW worth playing for PvP? (I HATE arena)
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 5/03/10 12:25:42 AM
Personally, I love arena. I think it's the most competetive and strategized pvp I've ever encountered in an MMO. I'd like to know why you "hate" it, and I can't help but face-palm the hell out of my forehead when I read all these vanilla-wow fanboys. The pvp in vanilla was shit. I ran around in my bloodfand with cts and two shot kids with sinister strike, every once in a while having good duels with geared warriors, mages, and rogues. It was a joke.
Give arena a fair chance if you want to get anything that feels semi-significant from WoW pvp. |

I've had several accounts since November 2004 along with add-ons birthed in the infancy of this game. And yet, I've never had an account security issue. It's hard to take this post seriously, and not just lol at a pretty apparent user error? |

Um...ok. No shit it isn't new...for girls. But for guys? And I am only around 130lbs., so I could fit into them if I wanted, but I am not trying to look like a member of My chemical romance...or simply a guy light on my feet if you know what I mean.
Guys have been wearing tapered and skinny jeans since the 50's. Sorry to derail the thread further. |

Ocarina of Time when I was eight, followed by a lot of final fantasy/other Playstation titles. In 2001 I bought Everquest to begin my MMO career: Great mistake number one. |

They're really trying, credit for that. Probably going to pick this up this week. Conquest sounds really appealing along with the open zones, but I don't know if it will win me over on subscribing. |

You're taking it out of context now; I'm obviously referring to MMOs, welcome to mmorpg.com. And in reference to Bioshock, et c. those are, technically, free to play: the software may cost you, but there are no fees to play. |

Originally posted by Comnitus That's not necessarily true. Even if there's interest, poor reviews can scare a lot of people away. Why should we care that more subscribers are being scared away? Well, the developer supporting our game requires these subscribers to afford the supporting. |

What the fuck? Read what I wrote... It is, IN FACT, free to play by the criteria of not REQUIRING a subscription payment. But yes, it does indeed cost money for the initial software. |

Global Agenda is free to play. The fee after March is optional... I'd call that f2p. And if we're in the realm of entirely free games, I might as well ignore this thread. |
