that f2p is really like a unlimited trial with a limit of up to 50. i resubed a week ago and so far i do like the changes they made. illum is alot more diff, the whole game performance has increased  by 10 folds. as for the rise of the hutt cartell ending, i really love where it's heading to. i see a huge war coming in the future of swtor. open world pvp although it is still lacking, there is purpose to do them now. but ill say this if youa re to play swtor as f2p i suggest subbing, cause if you already have a lvl 50 char you wont really enjoy it in f2p model. only complaint i have now is republic community still lacks compared to imps, i wish they would find a solution to this, and second i feel that watchman sentinals got nerfed on their burns. i used to be able to dish out almost same amount of dps compared to combat, now combat rocks and i i had to respec lol. combat is fun i really like it now compared to old school. anyways guys give it a shot, and try it out for 1 month, but make sure you get rothc or else you wont enjoy makeb and the new features.

is there any diff with the season pass?

If you click the links they will explain it but basically you have to buy the main game to gain access to the season pass which offers you the first 5 DLC's for the game at a discounted price by paying for them upfront before they are released.

so should i just buy the standard then so i can get access to all the content?

yeah, it's more like a persistant world online shooter, kinda like how Bungie described Destiny.   Not to mention, he claims SWTOR was a great game...not in my review book.  Everyone has thier opinions, unfortunately people always think their's is the only opinion.

tbh i just feel like the game was to rushed.  i mean they couldve done so much more with the game and since the show is great, it kinda saddens me that the game is meh. but ima still wait a little longer to see what the show can offer the game. maybe there are locked towns that we cant enter until it opens up in the show or maybe there is a crafting system. either way ill wait until the show is a little further down the road to fully decide if i will spend money on the game

i agree personally people shouldn't care much if they are enjoying a game what any review site gives it.. issue is the big review sites like gamespot and Ign they do have a lot of influence on a good number of people buying games which will in turn effect future updates to this game.

that goes both ways. let me ask you are you going to eat in a restaurant that has bad review or eat at a place where there is positive reviews. some including me likes to do research first before i make an instant grab. either way i tried the game out from cb, and i doubt much has changed from the last cb before launch. the game is fun but that is all there is to it, eventually it will die down because it will get old and people will run out of things to do. remember it doesn't take a gamer to finish a whole content in the game.  an example would be tera online. great combat but when it came down to lengevity, combat didn't retain the players long enough since there wasn't much to do. also arkfall shadow wars co ops and missions done repeatedly isnt considerd fun when u can solo MOST of the content of the game.

if they do this there is no doubt that it will build the social economy of defiance. atm the only way to see any social life in defiance imo is through co ops and that's not good. but if they have cities like these in the actual game, it would give people somewhere to chill and hang out, who knows maybe even duel. or better yet that battle arena where you can make fast cash lol. that guy was just wrong for judging people who cant freely fork out 60 buks for a game. btw it doesn't mean that some won't fork out 60 buks for a game means they have financial issues. some just rather spend their money on better things then wasting it on a game that lacks content. please summarize to me what the game has to offer because this is my summary of the game. arkfall, shadow war, sidemissions, story line, some co ops maybe. now do that every single day doesnt take to long until you get bored :) now what does other mmos have to offer? crafting, gathering, dynamic events social economy, instances story line side missions and many more. even firefall has more content then defiance atm. only thing defiance has to offer is story line and thats it. let me change that, EVEN DUSK 514 has better content to offer then defiance. atleast dusk 514 gives you a real purpose to why to fight for the maps, and why you want to upgrade. not to mention the interaction between eve and dusk is epic. so sir if you're going to argue about how others wont fork out 60 buks for a pos game called defiance then i suggest you take your time and play other mmos before you judge others. people like you we blow up in eve :)

Wow, completely do not understand this post? The story line is very well thought out, and has a ton of meaning. I have yet to see zero interaction, sure if you ignore the chat window, and play with your head down you will not interact with anyone, that is your choice. 

 Jump into a co-op map, plenty of interaction if you want there to be. 

 As for varied content? There is a lot of reptition, but there are variations too. If you decided to do nothing but time trials, yeah, boredom, nothing but PvP, yeah boring, noting but the same mission over and over, yeah boring, try moving around a bit and actually checking out everything it has to offer, everytime you play.

You mean players actually use that thing called chat window? i am shocked really. 10 days of playing and i didn't read one word in area chat. (had to be some kind of a record for a MMO)

atleast gw2 has a community that response to you even if it is negative lol. defiance has none. funny thing is defiance gets more response on this forum then ingame which is sad
