I had 26Ding saved up from selling scripts about a month before release. I emailed them about it and got a copy paste answer. Needless to say I'm done with AoW and any snail runned game.

MO is probably least hacker protected MMORPG

Damage is also done client side, if you intercept the packet that deals with damage (very easy to do) and manipulate it and block the right value and replace it with a higher one, you can max out your damage with any weapon.
Oh yea resource gathering, also client side. You can mine Gabora or whatever you want (or any mix of this) from a flower. The catch also, is that you can mine it an unlimited amount of time afk. |

GW2 is sitting on my PC since I bought it. I never really have had the desire to go back to it. I like my pvp games to have open world pvp (even if its sort of an after thought). Yes Tera quests are very boring, but I really do not care about the journey (as long as its not to long) of getting to max level but more so what there is to do when I get there. By Aion having more content what do you mean, whats the content? I will admit the one big draw to tera for me is/was the combat was very very fun, however the lack of content made me leave (so with the additions of recent does it still lack?). Thank you for the response.

I have played and enoyed both games. Most recently I played Tera to max lvl but quit before the Nexus content. Aion I played and enjoyed till late 40's but got burned out from the grind (which I have heard is now not as bad at all). So now I am at a toss up of which to play. I liked them both very much and I am sure i'll enjoy whichever I play. The question I have is though which one has a more 'fun' pvp endgame? I enjoy pvp the most out of games so looking for this above all else. Also with that, which one will require less real life money to be competative (as i know both require some investment if I want to be among the 'elite'). Any help would be appreciated, no games on the horizon (dragon prophet is a let down with its week pvp concept) for me beyond the repop so looking for a new home till then.

The repopulation looks very good, and is for sure not vaporware. Unfortunately not willing to dish out $100 for beta

Originally posted by Robokapp Serious question, because I have been searching, what is the 'one' you are refering to? I really hope you are not talking about DF (because full loot and housing does not make a game a sandbox. Most seem to think that anything that is not a quest hub themepark is a sandbox)
Beyond having full loot pvp what does DF have that other themeparks dont have? |

I supported it (only $20) and it probably will be vaporware sadly. I cant find a beta date anywhere to give me hope either...

[Interview] Earthrise: First Impact: Resurrecting Earthrise
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 4/13/13 5:46:33 AM
Im pretty sure as well SilentFuture is the same company. The community forum manager (or developer, whoever he is) Keos when the game first came back online had already been a forum member since the game originally launched. What I am getting at is he already had a post count of a little over a hundred (as they kept the old forum database, my account still had old messages in my inbox but my posts were wiped clean HOWEVER I did still have my post count from the previous forum). So if Keos is part of this new company and has no ties with the old, how/why was his post count not 0 when the game very frist came back by this new company? Sure he could have been an old ER gamer who they hired on as there main community manager/developer but I highly doubt it.

[Interview] Earthrise: First Impact: Resurrecting Earthrise
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 4/12/13 7:22:37 AM
Originally posted by mattic65 So why would anyone want to play in a game where dying in pvp means simply respawning? If you played the original ER (which I am going to go out on a limb and say no you didnt) with all its flaws, the only thing that was 'fun' about it was the pvp and the intensity of losing everything (that you had on you, not banked). It was not just another carbon copy of the themepark pvp system going around. But sadly that is where the game is headed now, which means it will have 0 playerbase as this game is not built up to be a themepark like they want it to be. I, thank goodness, did not purchase the founder pack stuff they have going on. I am actually an ER vet (played it from beta till a few months before its close) and they did let me in the alpha simply through an alpha app. The game to this point literally has nothing new in it. Actually a lot of stuff is disabled that makes it even worth playing at all (gain exp but have no way of using it on skills, can gain mats but no crafting system at all). It is highway robbery to charge someone, especially with the state of the game right now, to alpha test this game when they dont even have any of what they want to 'test' ingame yet. |

This game is so funny... im far from being a 'hacker' yet I just checked (and reported it a while back) and you can still manipulate the client and hit over 140 with the weakest bow/swords ingame. Game is so lol

Its not ingame, and its because of there own choosing. They didnt listen to the playerbase at ALL. I put up a thread when i first found out about it on there site and had a poll of if they should keep the full loot, take it out, rework it or other. It was at 85% literally for keeping full loot till they closed the thread and said that its to late to change the loot system back as they have already moved forward with what they worked up (without ever asking a sole about what we wanted). So i find it hilarious they said they changed the loot system based on player feedback as that is not the case at all. They are trying to go more themepark

I never make threads here but just wanted to share my opinion as this game is worth it. I initially played the free trial, and got bored of the game really fast as I had no idea what was going on and it was all looking so bland... I then continued my mmorpg hop I have been doing for the last year and a half, did some DFUW beta, some Earthrise Alpha... But I kept coming to mmorpg and looking for something else... all the while I kept reading 'Age of wushu is so awesome' but just couldnt figure out what these people seen. So I said forget it, ill just spend the 20, sub and really force myself to play till I atleast understand the game overall. Well now I understand the game pretty well after 2 weeks (really started to understand it after a good 2 or 3 days) and I think I finally found a new home after mmorpg hoping the last few years. The game is extremely fun and addicting. The 'daily' activities are actually enjoyable to do (well spy missions are not as much, but they are more exciting in comparision to other mmorpg's daily quest). The pvp when you start getting strong is different in a good fun way. When I first joined an escort raid I pretty much got one shot and was tempted to quit then too, glad I didnt. To end, this game has a LOT to offer (to much for me to describe this late at night). The biggest hurdle is getting over the learning curve as the translation sucks REALLY bad, but once you understand the game it is outstanding. I have never played an asian/kungfu themed game as it is not really my style. This game delievers so much though I cant help but love it (the jumping/flying skills are also a fun different feel)

lol such denial, go read the server status thread on the main site. I know there is a damage hack in the game, along with a lot others

actually you can tell that its not sped up if you look. Why are some people running in place? Obviously something glitchy is going on. Also how could he run around and avoid so many guards? Give you a little hint, I know the video is not fake and that there is a damage hack for bows :)
