nope I've never used this e-mail adress anywhere.
The only thing I use it for is mails to and from ppl on this site and for the admins to reach me on the offchance that I might win something ;) |

It's rather possible that since I've been a member since 2004 and the op has ben a member since 03 that our mail adresses have been spread arround a bit more. |

If that were the case I would be thrilled. I get the kind of spam you really don't want. The viagra kind and the "plz meat wiffe heere" type of spam. The thing is i don't use my mmorpg mail for anything except on this site. So the only way these companies have got it is either that one of the competitions sold all email adresses to spam companys. Or they got lucky in guessing my address. |

Agreed this is rediculous. You guys need to install a spam filter. |

I have been playing for a year.. I had no Idea about that.. well actually I have heard rumours about other planets beeing implemented at a later stage.. but those nomad Fyrosians.. and dark matiis.. that would be soo incredible cool! Ryzom need allot of new players to give the devs the founds to make all that :P |

Grinding to me is killing the same spawn of mobs over and over at an insane pace over a couple of hours and thus gaining levels really fast.
I usually do this but mostly I prefer to hunt, which to me means killing a spawn a couple of times then change skills and move on to another spawn. But when the hunting gets booring there is, as previously mentioned, allways digging and crafting left to do :) Or you can allways hang about one of the capitols helping out new folks. Go down to the bar with some friends and just hang out :) Ryzom is a rather diffrent game in the way that at first it might be really hard to find something to to but after a while you never seem to have enough time to do what you want :) But that might just have been me though.. I came from WoW so I was really locked in to that all quest based stuff, so it took some time to realize that a game is allot more fun without quests :) THe thing to remember is it is a game, so if you're not having fun do something else! |

wel as a start I'd suggest removing all the quest rewards.. that is the nimber one missleading thing about the quests. On the mainland you only get a small bit of fame and a few dappers. So to go from geting a really nice weapon and a bunch of xp to recieving basicly nothing at all, well that might cause some really bad feelings :)

Content is very subjective. What do you mean by content?
If you by content means allot of quests and such, well then there is close to no "content" at all. After the inissial tutorial on the trial island there is basicly no more quests. There is outposts with can be contested over by players in a pvp battle. The outposts give some really nice rewards to :) Regarding the storyline: It is very very well writen there is a ton of backstory on the official site. And there are some rites you can do to unlock more lore ingame. The gameworld and story is progressing via ingame events and they usually play out very nicely :) I've been playing for close to a year and have yet to be bored ingame :) and just bechouse there is no "quests" doesn't mean that you have to grind all the time. |

have you checked that your PC isn't overheating or something? Tbh It sounds more like something wrong with your comp. But then again I'm really bad at these kinda things :P
Really hope you find the problem 'cause the game is worth it. |

The launcher is always in windowed mode but as soon as you get to the character selection screen it will switch to fullscreen (if you have configured the game to run in fullscreen). And as the previous poster said, you can change that from the login screen.

I have heard rumours of botters.. but since there is no epic drops or such other nonsens, botting has little to no impact on the community. Also since everyone is in a guild they are prty much coverd for with equipment and therfore don't even need any money.

To my knowledge this problem is uniqe to Linksys routers. I have played this game using other routers without a problem. So blaming this soley on Nevrax might not be entierly true. However I know basicly nothing about these kind of things so I might not be one to talk about it :P
