Nex gen console i see only newly released XBOX or PS4 as new nex gen, not old ones there ancient DX9 limited consoles and WII U already old before launched with old ati card from 2 years ago inside.

Sega Dreamcast 2 would be awesome but i doub it will ever see the light, with all the Sega inhouse developers making awesome games like new SHENMUE PSO SONIC or Skies Of Arcadia and many more great games they made on Dreamcast.

Only posible drama i can think of with Darkfall was the EUROGAMER review that was made by themepark lover who could not manage and understand anything about game and failed misrable, plus he played for only few hours gave 2/10 just trying to destroy Darkfall.

Or all the trolls/haters who all said vaporware.

This was over time span of years.

But in the end they all failed.

Darkfall is still here and alive and kicking and with a new large expansion comming soon server now live for 2.5 years and continuing.

Sandbox with lots of contents is a Theme Park.

You obvious don't know difference between Sandbox and Themepark.

Specially in last 6 years i totally ignore all social aspects of internet game related or just social networks. I hate them for many reasons also privacy wise.

Do we need to go backwards in MMOs to be able to go forwards again?  I am very much looking forward to SWTOR but i am concerned that we will have big shinny arrows and just not bother with the story so much.  It is this method of play that allows players to "power" through the game to end content and then complain that there arent 20 end game dungeons 2 weeks after release.

Would you want the "old" days back of searching for things?  Or do we all prefer the ingame GPS?

You still need to find out most yourself ingame, all tho they also made it a little more casual friendly im no fan of this, but thats becouse of WoW after millions starting to play mmo's almost all companys think we need to make game more casual friendly bah:(

Play Saga of Ryzom PVE FRIENDLY SANDBOX or Darkfall hardcore pvp(One of best out there) you still find out and explore without holding hands by game.

No i won't play swtor the quality is way to low, ill stick with Elder scrolls or sandbox game.

Not first time a developer alinate there PC gaming followers, if its to much console many PC gamers will abandon Bethesda but i think tod howard dont realy care all these companys these days only intrested in $$$ :(

Fight in first walk and talk to npcs in third then alot of game you be in thirdperson only fighting is first person better.

Seem no big deal to me game have so much to offer with all the mods it have these days.

You know, there are people who's say that you listed some really awesome games, if I had passed on EVE, CO, SWG, Vanguard and EQ2 I'd probably miss some of the most immersive, fun and awe-inspiring moments of all my MMO times...

Especially EVE is something I personally think, as a gamer, you gotta have to experience. You'll probably find out after 3 weeks that you hate it and it sucks and all. But just as the unique game it is it's worth experiencing.

Yeah I do remember it getting good scores. Doesn't change the fact it was awesome hehe.

For me it would probably be Two Worlds 1&2, while I see why they received bad scores VO, story etc.. I still enjoyed them for the most part.

I enjoyed Two worlds 1 alot but it was recieved badly by most i dare saying i even liked it alot more then Oblivion.

Elder scrolls serie screams to be played on PC not only becouse of superior graphics but all the great MODS it gets from mod community its a crime when you play it on a console.

I dont realy like Dragon age(but played it was ok not good) and hate Dragon age 2, i love Daggerfall adore MORROWIND and loved Oblivion and hope Skyrim will be as awesome as Morrowind.

Number one Developer so far for RPGs for me is Bethesda!

Bioware with games like ME and DA sunk below avarage for me not worth playing anymore.

If its your hobby and you like playing games who cares what others thinking, play games when your 80 as long your happy with this thats what counts not what two blond bimbo's on some show thinks and giggeling about it it or other people.

I strongly disagree with this. Having the world on a single server brought several issues, especially for a FFA Open World PvP game. Conflicting time zones had some major impact on Sieges, raids, etc, which is what Darkfall was supposed to be all about. The issue is that, while splitting the servers into NA and EU, DarkFall wasn't able to draw in new players, on top of the players it lost during EU-1 early days from all the issues plaguing the game (hackers, exploits, macroers, heavy grind, etc).

It where US players who whined the most and cheat the most(TheMercs/Blood for example) and result way to fast community was split into two servers leave more then half empty servers.

Sorry you quit for this but be honest your just not right for this game. Its FREE FOR ALL FULL LOOT it have nothing to do with elitism ive made several new characters on all races and see how they go and ive had never any problems.

Play it smart and you wont be ganked much and lose alot, then bank regualry and it wont be a problem. If you have problem with losing all your stuff from time to time then this game AINT FOR YOU.

PS. I dont agree with most here who say SOLO is not a option becouse its a viable option its just alot harder but it can be very fun and enjoyable specially when you kick some ass solo by playing smart.

Make the game as it was intended hardcore not softcore.

Better Crafting system where you can realy make everything ingame and even only crafted special gear by top crafters.

Dye armor, clan emblems.

Mahirim/Orks, Alfar, Humans/mirdain/Dwarfs thats how it should be.

My true wish make server all red no alignment no savezones like racecitys shit, bring back true politics ANTI vs RPK.

Housing and more destroyable buildings so we see more struggle to build town up again now we see clantowns been up sinds first months launch never went down.

But Darkfall 2.0 at least seems promising with new sounds new graphics and many other aspects of game.

the reason we wont have to pay for df2 is because its just an expansion coupled with a relaunch and hopefully a boxed release to bring in more players

Boxes version would be awesome to have Darkfall in my collections of other gameboxes.
