There's good eating on a Gnome, make a damn fine soup too. If you're really careful you can have enough left for sandwiches the day after.

I guess it's time for this months 'Creationism Vs Evolution' thread. Let the good times roll! If this thread continues, can we at least all try our best and keep it civil. For the record, my faith lies in evolution, and the dinosaurs are very much still with us. They're called birds. |

Hey Riki, still climbing trees? and how are those nightvision binoculars working out? :) This thread just reminded me of a girl i used to date many moons ago, she had a pair of thigh-high boots, which she used to refer to as her 'F*ck Me' Boots. ah, happy times :) |

You obviously arent mentally mature enough to be married. You clearly dont love her enough to be married, drunk or not, if you loved her you wouldnt have cheated on her. Im guessing she is a similar age to you, cut her the biggest break of her life and tell her so she can divorce you and get over the rejection and pain. If you have any respect for her and yourself, give her the chance to get on with her life and find someone who can truly commit to her. If you find any of this in anyway amusing then you truly are a moron. |

Think of the cash they would have made by capturing it rather than killing it, that thing would be worth the entrance fee to a zoo alone. |

Well there is a school of thought (longhairs, boffins and such) who believe that heterosexuality is the learned/conditioned behaviour and our natural state lies more with bi-sexuality. Certainly in older cultures such as the Romans, Greeks and Spartans etc it was completely accepted for a husband to have a wife and a young guy concubine, and he would happily sleep with both with no scandal or stigma. In nature too, many animals exhibit bi-sexual behaviour. It's only really in the last 1,000 years or so that heterosexuality has become what is considered 'normal' and any and all deviation from it 'wrong' and religion is most probably the root cause of this. In truth, I personally am not sure what to make of that, the thought of being in close contact with another guys 'swimsuit area' makes me well... 'GAH!... ew.. no!' etc, but has society just conditioned me to think that way? Its another interesting angle to fit into all this and worth discussion. Stay Groovy all. |

Kelkyen Rants: How classic D&D hurt modern mmo’s
MMORPG Game Concepts « Developers Corner 5/26/07 6:41:29 AM
If only MMO's truly followed current D&D rules, but as posted above they dont. The restrictions most of you are discussing are due to MMO's taking the most basic aspects of the D&D system and throwing out the massive diversity in character progression that is available in todays systems. Just my 2cps worth. |
