What kabaal said. I receive a response from the live chat in a minute tops, it's realllly handy for getting stuff like this sorted out...

BF3 beta xbox - terrible, low experienced players.

BF3 PS3 beta - worse.

BF3 PC beta- absolutely beautiful. Hardcore FPS'ers. Not for the faint of heart.

Nope.

You could look at Fallen Earth, all the gear in that game is pretty much crafted and isnt the main focus of the game. Not sure if it fits what you are looking for, but I've always felt it was the least gear oriented out there.

Old school UO is probably what you were looking for, sadly they changed that as time went on and started adding in "epic" gear, which really went against the entire core design of UO.

I'll second fallen earth, it's something different and while not completely sandbox (no house building/farming) but it's still has nice elements and is a nice change from typical fantasy stuff. It also doesn't really have a gear grind (from what I've played), it was mostly exporing, questing, grouping and crafting, which made it pretty enjoyable. I just got bored of all the damn brown in the game, while it has great graphics, it's landscape is still quite ugly...

Unfortunately their isn't a game like this that exists, idk why either, take runescape, upres the shit out of it and make it into a full game, but that would probably take way too long. Xsyon is a sandbox game where you can build and do whatever but the polish just isn't there. There is also Mortal Online, but again the polish isn't there and the game is pure garbage.

It's just no good developers want to take on the role of a sandbox game when their is so much money at stake, and it could all be lost if it ends up being a shitty product.

Did you or one of your two sons create the guild? If you joined one I'm assuming your guild just died and the remainder of the guild items were taken by the left over members before they left.

I'd contact a GM if possible, if it takes too long send their support team an email.

Agreed, is really the only reason why I'm a little hyped for the secret world. MMO's without leveling is like an even playing field, and there's no "uggh I have 40 more levels to go to 80 till I play even an ounce of end game!". How about jumping into the game, and progressing because you WANT to progress, not because you have to level to the cap to be able to play the actual end game.

TL:DR I believe MMO's without levels are the future, including the hybrid F2P model.

If you judge this game only because of graphics, your not worthy enough to play this epic game.

Good graphics or not, the gameplay will be beast just like the previous TES games, Now piss off you graphic boy.

You misunderstood me but thats ok your prolly console gamer who dont mind that pc gamers get a console port.

Console ports are for most of time symplified version ported to PC with inferior graphics(as i said graphics are good for console but PC should have had alot better graphics then these). And im fed up with consoleports.

Im also entiled to my opinion i specifically placed it in PC section not your beloved console section.

I played btw Elder Scroll sinds 98 when i bought Daggerfall, Morrowind(my best untill now) and Oblivion already way to easy and console but still good game becouse of mods.

Are you for real? Oblivion absolutely NOT a console port. You can tell right away by the absolute lackluster fps on the 360, and the way you had to navigate through the map - A MOUSE CURSOR. If they made the game for the consoles, it would have been much more 'simplified'. Just because they're making the game interface easier to navigate and more intuitive, doesn't mean they're all of a sudden going for consoles.

TL:DR  stop whining, I know your going to buy the damn game anyway so this thread is useless.

EDIT: Also, for god sake take a grammar course please, for your own benefit.

Sounds like hes trying to badly impersonate sean connery, very annoying.

What video/graphics card do you have? I'm assuming it's integrated, in which the game would run like absolute garbage and look like shit with any integrated graphics with the exception of specific laptop integrated graphics.

It's going to succeed money wise and subscriber wise for sure, but I don't think it will succeed in the long run after the first month.

While I do agree that the armor styles are a bit lacking with variety and imagination, I think it's because they wanted to take a more realistic (not completely realistic) approach rather than WoW style floating swords/shoulders and glowing everything. Which imo, is a LOT better because when you gear up in WoW, you look like a GIANT piece of floating metal walking around with swords twice the length and size of your body.

wow, you have never played a wow clone?

I left wow just to play rift because i thought rift had something fresh to offer......... but i were completely wrong...shame on me.

like you go through the deadmines with 2 levels higher then require.. ???

i don't play rift tho.. but your statement is just not correct..

Deadmines you say? Are you comparing WoW's Dungeons to Rifts? Because Rift's dungeons are a hell of alot more fun and challanging too do then World of Warcrafts dungeons... all the dungeons in WoW are so easy now you can heal with your hands tied behind your back. The heroics are a joke, I was pulling multiple mobs on me and our group was training the whole way through a heroic deadmines run.... the only thing challanging/fun about the game is the raiding. I'm not saying that Rifts dungeons are hard, but at least trion knows to at least put some challange in the game.

Rift puts your WoW Dungeons too shame.

I certainly agree with this, WoW dungeons are so rediculously easy, it ruins all challenge of the game just to get the shiny at the end. With WoW dungeons, their just not fun because their not challenging and you just tank and spank everything it seems. All dungeons I've played in Rift are pretty exciting and hard, and have wiped multiple times which NEVER happend to me in WoW.

You quit playing an MMORPG because the dungeons were party dependent? This is one of thee dumbest things I've ever heard... In almost every single MMORPG, dungeons are for group/party play...

Oh man, this guy is terrible. I just watched his review, or whatever you want to call it, of APB: Reloaded. It's terrible, talk about the blind leading the blind...

He says too many words without actually saying anything productive. Just runs around letting everyone know he has no idea what in the world he's doing.

Yea I know lol, he keeps saying "ok now I'm running around looking for something to fight, i hope theirs something to fight over there, maybe here, no maybe there no, im looking around for something to fight, this game looks good, im looking for something to fight"

He doesn't stop talking! Very annoying commentator...

Hate to say it but - yawn.

Ya know. I agree.  I really enjoyd my journey in Rift.

But this is the expecation and what gets giddy applause?  A couple more single-player dungeon content elements and a 10-player Raid? Really?  I thought this was a massively-multiplayer online RPG, but as with many of its' counterparts, is acting like a single-player redundantly instanced lobby-system rpg with a few maps that your encouraged to grind ad nauseum for $15 bucks per month?

No, Im not paying to play this any more, and for obvious reasons.  Part of me should be happy, though, that this fills a niche.

I think you just answered my personal question as to why I play mmo's... What you said right there pretty much sums up EVERY mmo. WHY can't we EVER have an mmo 'RPG', the RPG often feels gone in mmo's today. It's all grind this, grind that, why can't we kill 10x of something because we feel conntected to the story line? It's all 'sup bro kill 10x and I'll give you this', their's no consequence and you can continue progressing through the game without the completion of said quest.

Take obvlivion for example, when their is the attack at Kvatch, you can't progress through the story until you clear the whole city out. But if it was an mmo, there would be a quest giver outside kvatch, you run in, clear it, 10 minutes later everything has respawned and the player next to you is doing the same thing. While I understand that it's an mmo, but developers need to think outside of the box, and provide DYNAMIC content, not static. Dynamic content = MASSIVE replayability.

In a nutshell. BEST MMO = VARIETY + DYNAMIC CONTENT

I'm amazed that in this economy anyone other than the rich can even afford conventions.  Maybe you ARE rich. But anyway....too expensive for the peasants, so I can't attend any of them.

 Wow.

Tone it down a notch, the funeral home nextdoor called and complained that you're depressing all the mourners.

Yes, only the stinking filthy rich can scrimp, save, and use discount sites to obtain good rates and savings. We do this on our luxurious computers that are made out of diamonds and the skin of the homeless, wherein you are probably commenting emo-like on a dirty rock with a usb cable sticking out of it.

Lighten up a bit, and try to smile.

Yeesssssh.

Jeez man, it didn't sound that depressing to me at all when I read it. Maybe it's not so much him that needs to lighten up? :S

Nah it was pretty despressing not gonna lie lol

Wasn't funny

It's sad to see every mmo these days making slight spin offs of WoW (except GW2, and yes SWOTOR is a slight spin off of WoW). All these mmo's do is create the same exact concepts WoW has (and YES I know wow wasn't the first MMO to have these) but why can't their be a fantasy style mmo that is completely different, in everyway to mmo's we have these days.

What I'm saying is, all mmo's these days all have

* instanced dungeons

* instanced raids

* quests with exclamation mark over their head

* same UI, with same health bars, same hot bars, and same interface as everyone else

* all focus on gaining levels and most of the focus is endgame content

* same item and crafting systems

* same quest progression

What I'm asking for is innovation, and polish. You could argue and say some mmos have tried to be different, like Mortal Online for example. But that game lacks so much polish it's REDICULOUS. I think a game company needs to change the way mmo's are made, like WoW did. Something with the polish of WoW, but with innovation, depth, and creative systems that haven't been seen before.

MMO creators need to look outside the box, take a leap, and try something new. Otherwise this genre of gaming is going nowhere.

You do realize that most of what you claim to be a quality of WoW, came out BEFORE WoW existed, right?

You obviously didn't read my whole post? But I'll help ya out anyway ;)

I agree. While we're at it, why do shooters have to use the same mechanics?

*Same UI with health and armor

*Shooting people in the head gets bonus damage

*hitting the left mouse button to shoot, right mouse to iron sights or scope

*Same Lobby system

*Same goals "shoot this guy" "attack that base" "defend this bomb"

What I'm trying to say is, why not have innovation? A first person shooter that isn't in first person, and has no shooting? How about a first person shooter told from a third person perspective where you shoot balls into a hoop? We can call it hoopyhoop, it'll be the best FPS since Call of Duty.

You obviously lack the knowledge that the FPS genre is a very narrow genre. What I mean by that is, there are many different types of shooters, just like their are different types of MMO's. I didn't say "why can't they innovate on themepark mmos, or sandbox mmo's" I stated MMO's in general. MMO's have become very stale and straight forward and never add anything drastically new to the table.

I don't understand what your trying to poke fun at here. My guess is that you just don't understand what innovation and depth means.

I really am tired of this Hardcore Vs Casual BS. Really, If you do not have the time to rule then why the hell would anyone elect you. Casual players would have no place in the politics of a game they are not devoteing alot of time to. Would you like your state governor to be gone 4 days out of the week becuse he could not devote the time to be there? Fuck casual.

+1 gtfo and go play your theampark mmo ..leave the real gameplaying to the vets at heart and play that mmorpg for a sence of acomplishment...not for a couple of hours here n there

+1 Agreed, I'm a casual mmo player and even I know I wouldn't be able to manage a political system. Leave it to the hardcore, the ones who work hard for it, are on for hours, and it'd still be awesome and interesting for the casual's to vote!
