I cannot deny the similarities that Allods has with World of Warcraft. However, I was very surprised that the game did not follow with a cinematic opening. Once you create your character (belonging to either the League or the Imperial side) you are immediately put into the middle of the action. The game practically puts you right in the middle of the story, which is similar to Dungeons & Dragons Online. You actually get to see how the story develops. On the League side you actually witness a change in the environment when you are invaded by the enemy. In the Imperial side you are given a taste of what you will be experiencing and what it means to be part of a ship. I was really taken aback with what I saw in the game because you can only experience these things when you're playing a P2P MMORPG. |

The heart of Ultima Online is interaction with other human players and there are always plenty of players online - perhaps too many. The wilderness is full of players tromping around looking for something, anything, to kill. Monster respawning locations are typically surrounded by huge posses of characters out for blood. Naturally enough, if Ultima Online's bloodthirsty populace, er, "role-players" can't find monsters to attack, they start killing other players ("pkilling"). There's no escape from this pkilling in Ultima Online except in the relatively safe cities. Of course, if you happen to commit even a minor crime within a city, the all-powerful guards will promptly execute you (ah, nothing like a little frontier justice - jaywalkers beware). |

Ghost Online is definately a nice (fast) change of pace from some of the other MMORPGs roaming the internet today, and I definately recomend this to anyone who finds the grind of other MMOs slow, or have nothing left to do, leaving a bored "What to do next," feeling. The main thing to keep in mind, though, is that this game is still in beta, and there are several glitches and little content, but after looking at different versions of this game released in other parts of the world, there are many, many, MANY more things to come in this game. |

This is actually a very cutesy type of MMORPG. I like cute things, so I personally don’t mind at all. I enjoy the graphics, and the sound is a bit too repetitive. However, it’s still nice. The monster killing is a little bit repetitive and annoying because after one hit you lose, like, 48 damage. Once you’ve killed the monster, you’re only gonna have about half of your HP left. Aeria didn’t overdo the quests, at the most, there are about 3-5 quests in every town you visit. The money making is pretty easy. Be careful the sprite doesn’t make you want to punch the computer, though, because it can get pretty annoying. Overall a great game, even though it needs a few bug fixes and tweaks to work out. |

Valkyrie Sky is a remake of the classic shooter for the MMO world. If you like classic arcade games, Valkyrie Sky is probably a good game for you. Unfortunately, the pointless stamina system is there for pure annoyance and forces players to take up one of the pointless professions in game or you can find someone to leech off of since plenty of people play music for free in towns. The tutorial is straight forward and good for new players to learn the basics. If you have friends to play with, this will be a great game, otherwise you might want to look elsewhere. |

As of now no.. ArchLord can be summed up with two words: "dull" and "repetitive." Unfortunately, this game doesn't have anything to offer massively multiplayer veterans, and if you've been playing these games for a while, there's a good chance you've already found something better than this. Like other games of this sort, ArchLord lets you create a single character to adventure in a persistent world, fighting monsters and performing quests to gain experience levels and in-game wealth to upgrade your character's items and abilities by purchasing new weapons and armor or new magic spells to cast. Yes, ArchLord is a fantasy-themed game, but it looks and sounds generic. The environments are bland, the character models look rough and blurry and offer hardly any customization options, and the game doesn't sound that great. |

this game can be costly to play. If you don't do the "item-mall" it is fine. I mean it is fine if you don't mind spending a year creating a character, and then it get's hacked and the support team tells you there is nothing they can do to help you. As if it is costing them anything out of their pockets to add a few pixels to your screen. |

What makes me relax honestly is to sleep or watching movies on my laptop or just checking out the newsfeed ony my facebook. :S |

Sucker Punch is a masterpiece of subversion. The culture is not being subverted, however; it's the expectations of the audience. Every time the protagonist is about to "dance", the film shifts into "fanboy fetishism"...but what doesn't it do? We never get to see the dance! Our desire to see this woman perform for amusement is never revealed! We ache in tension no matter how good the CGI robot-samurai-helicopter-bomb-gun trickery is, because the "audience" of the film's characters see what we aren't allowed to see! Even the dance number under the credits is hidden! And don't tell me the popped cork of the champagne bottle signifies nothing. It is black lyrical cinematic comedy! It is George Kuchar lambasting the Art House Cinema crowd for its secret desire for titillation. It is Laura Mulvey's work on "the Gaze" combined with weird sexual metaphors about female sexuality.
