I have been fortunate to be a part of the Rift experience since the start of alpha testing, and I have seen significantly more content than the beta events let on (past level 20 on the Guardian side).

But this is not going to give anything away about the game; the actual content of the game can and should still be a surprise and wondrous discovery to the players. This will instead focus on what was done right about the design, and what was done wrong.

First off, Rift does not break significantly new ground. Those who were hoping for the pipe dream of a revolutionary MMO will be sadly disappointed, as they will always be disappointed, because there are significant structural limitations built in to the way computer games are made and interfaced with.

One of the things I like best about WonderKing is its graphical styling, which is very manga/anime influenced. It's all very cartoonish, but in a lovely way. The backgrounds are lush and beautiful, the characters are very detailed when given store items, and enemies are, frankly, adorable. The audio side isn't "as" great as the graphics, but the background music, limited voice work, and sound effects all sound pretty good.

Depending on how you look at it, Lineage II offers either a repetitive grind or a stiff challenge. In any case, the game isn't suited for more casual players who may only have time to play for 30 minutes to an hour. But if you're looking to test your mettle at hacking through many, many monsters, Lineage II will definitely give you that much. And perhaps the upcoming large-scale player-versus-player features, like castle sieges, will make the game more exciting. At any rate, it's a fairly stable game that runs with only occasional pockets of lag. So if you're in the market for another online RPG in which you can fight lots of monsters, Lineage II will serve that purpose, especially if you plan to wait around for the game's upcoming features, which will be unveiled in subsequent, free downloadable episodes called "chronicles." But if you're looking for a game that offers more content, better group options, and less of a grind, you should look elsewhere, at least for now.

The game was most fun when I picked a fight with another player and tried to conquer their village. I spent a weekend calculating move and countermove, being bluffed and counterbluffed, and convincing his allies not to attack me. It was fun, and the slow speed of the action (it would take two hours for the units which could damage his defences and convince his citizens to switch sides to reach him) reminded me a little of news reports and made the unfolding fight much more immersive and involving. Most of the tactics ended up boiling down to maths (when do I have to send the powerful cavalry to get them to arrive just before the weak-but-vital catapults?), which I'm geeky enough to enjoy. But not many people are that geeky, and most people probably want to get out at some point during the weekend.

I first joined Aeria in December 2009, Dragon Sky was my game of choice. However, when we were notified that the server was being shut down February 1, 2010, I began looking for other games to play. I settled on 12 Sky. However, upon downloading and installing the game, McAfee began alerting me to trojan files included in the intallation process, including but not limited to the 12sky.exe file. What's worse is I spent the next week wiping my laptop clean of the files. Please note 12Sky 2 has the same issue just not as many files. Later when I visited the website for information regarding eh matter, supporters were stating these files were false positives and patrons should add the game to their anti-virus allow list and play the game regardless. I cannot beleive people would be so gullable. Furthermore, while doing a google search I see that CNET has given a marvelous review for this game. Aeria needs serious reprimand for letting its patrons down. Whether false positives or not, we expect quality out of our vendors regardless of the service provided.

this game can be costly to play. If you don't do the "item-mall" it is fine. I mean it is fine if you don't mind spending a year creating a character, and then it get's hacked and the support team tells you there is nothing they can do to help you. As if it is costing them anything out of their pockets to add a few pixels to your screen

Every community in every game is going to have their "bad seeds", sort of speak. However the creators of La Tale have done everything they can to prevent these bad seeds from ruining the game for the rest of us. First of all, you can only see YOUR drops and no one elses. That means that no one else can see or steal your drops. Next,If someone tries to ks you, they only get part of the exp, based off how much damage they do to the monster. Item drops are based off of whoever gets the most damage to the monster, and if you are in a party you can alter how the item drops are distributed. For the most part these features should keep the environment drama/stress free. If you have a question you can usually find more than just one helpful person at a time, often-times finding an entire group parked near you trying to solve your dilemma.

In keeping with the idea that Vindictus is stepping away from some of the customary elements we look for in MMO’s you will notice a few differences right from the very start. In Vindictus your “class” and your “character” are one in the same. As of this moment you have the ability to choose from 3 of the 5 eventual classes: Evie, a staff wielding magician; Lann, a dual wielding warrior; or Fiona, another warrior utilizing a sword and shield. Karok, a giant, who is currently only available in the Korean version of the game; and Kai, an archer, who has not yet been released. Think of these names as the class names. Since your character IS your class, the character creation options are slightly limited. If you choose your MMO’s based on your ability to make your character stand out from others, you will be disappointed in Vindictus’ creation system for sure. Height, hair style, some hair colours (some must be bought in the Avatar Shop), chest size if you like your women curvy and facial expression (not facial design) are elements that can be altered in the character creator. You also have the opportunity to name your character at this point.

It has been a topic in the forums of the game also. I haven't tried to write on their CS but like other's said their worst! >.<

Just like any other MMO game, there will be certain things that you don't like.  For me, it is the fact that there are too many players that "camp" bosses... but hey, for you it might be something else.  Overall though, this is one game that you simply cannot miss playing.  Even if you pay for other games each month, I know that you can get burnt out and need something else to satisfy your gaming fix... well, here it is and it won't cost you a cent.  So, when you are ready for something new, something fresh, something unique, and something that is well worth playing

There are some negatives I did find in the game however. For instance there is no way to auto travel to a location. In a lot of other games you can auto walk or travel to npcs or monster locations. There is also no indication of monster areas on the map when you select a quest to follow. The one thing they do have that does help is an indication arrow which guides you to the location of the enemies you need to find. Quest npcs are also easily found on the minimap labeled with ? and ! icons.

Overall this game has a lot of potential to succeed and it will be good to see what they do with it and how to improve it to make it

Ragnarok Online is the first MMORPG I have ever played, it is nice, cute, simple and fun. Though at some point, playing the game requires immense grinding, tell me what MMORPG doesn't? Anyway, the game is large scale, lots of places to explore, a lot of items to discover and use. Your in-game character grows on you as you play the game. The game itself is well balanced in terms of job classes and items. PvP is also an option here, one of which is in the PvP Arena where you fight others in a duel or randomly attack people inside the arena. Another PvP feature is the War of Emperium which gives the in game guilds to fight it out for the control of the Guild houses found in most Main Cities of the Game.

Despite all the good things the game can offer you, it does have its limitations, one of the problems is that it is prone to cheating specially an automated program called Bot, that automatically controls your character while your away from the keyboard. The game is simply just point and click, though I don't complain because Diablo 2 was also point and click but look how good it is right?

Over all, I like Ragnarok Online, it is simple and fun to play, will keep you occupied for hours and you can meet a lot of interesting people. The in-game Characters are cute and the game it self is better than most other games out there.

Quests in this game are fun and enjoyable, unlike some MMO's once you leave and area it is unlikely you will go back there (giving a greater sense of linear game play) the quests range from collecting items to killing boss', but as you will never need to kill the same monster twice it keeps the game fresh and fun to play. Likewise the game world map is huge and changes from one area to the next in such a way you do belive you are crossing a vast world, also unlike other MMO's there is no one set low level or high level area in this game as the path you take from one area to the next takes you all over the world.

All in all this in one of the best MMO's to be released and a real contender to over take WoW.

I've long since quit MapleStory, but I still feel it's a worthwhile game, especially as it's (for the majority) free, and not particularly difficult to get into.

Although most MMORPGs require time, this one requires possibly the most of all. It takes hours of grinding and button mashing to procure the shiny green words LEVEL UP above your head. The feeling gained from this is possibly the most wonderful one you can get online. Although it gets tiresome from level 40 onwards, and even more so from level 55, it is fun and gives you a chance to make new friends. To visualise a screen, I'd say put Mario Bros, Pokemon and FFIX together, and you've got it. It's a cutesy MMORPG to say the least, but that doesn't mean it can't enthral players. Basically there are 6 main jobs. Beginner, Warrior, Bowman, Mage, Thief and Pirate. Beginners tend to stray towards Thief, Pirate or Mage, but they are all very useful and worth a shot. Basically, to sum it up - use fancy looking skills to mash carbon copies of the same monster for weeks. Sounds boring? It's not.

Great game, made even more so because it's free! There's several sites devoted to the game, and the community isn't as bad as most (coughcoughRunescapecoughcough). Try it, and if you don't like it, uninstall. It's only a gigabyte or so, which is great, because almost any modern computer can play it. Be prepared for months of devotion - you'll need it. Hitting Green Mushrooms with a Broadsword for several months does get boring. But it's still one of the best MMORPGs on the net. It's a great game, and I applaud Wizet and Nexon for having the guile to come up with an ingenious idea as such. A job well done, and I'd like to see some even better projects in future.

I chose Despicable me.. first because, I haven't watched how to train your dragon yet.. ahhahaha

I want a baked potatoes too.... and also vegetable salad...

This game has great gameplay, and it is very challenging, too. There are an abundance of quests. and things to do. After the 10th insight (level) you can become involved in a religion. Also, you may guide new players , teach them, and mentor them into the path you choose. There are 5 different paths, and after 99 you may sub to another one but I wont get into that because it is complicated. Monk,Rogue,Priest,Wizard, and Warrior are the 5 paths. You will nearly ALWAYS need a group (unless you wish to die :P).

For DC universe. I've tried other types of content as well, including player-versus-player battles. Your introduction to PVP play has you and your teammates taking the roles of iconic characters and capturing key points while fending off an opposing team. I prefer using my own characters, however, since I am beginning to develop a bond with them, as I would in any online RPG, and have had more fun in the arena as a result. The PVP is flashy and enjoyable, though I haven't played enough of it to know if it has lasting appeal or if it's balanced particularly well. I've also taken part in alerts, which are extended player-versus-environment team missions. My first alert's end boss took some time to defeat, but that was due more to an inflated health bar than to an actual challenge. Most of the PVE content I've seen has been rather easy, which has led to a certain sense of shallowness.
