PRetty much sums up the 2012 launch and the 2013 opening.

This flawless commentary will leave thirsting for more! I for one was so hard for this game that when it came out I could not help but feel exactly how this commentrary game play shows.

This eye opening video will show you EXACTLY how this wonderful game compares to all other titles out there. It hits the proverbial nail on the head. HEAD!

Your armor? No worries GW2 has that covered, well wrapped and protected for penetration. The Gameplay? NO worries WATCH THE VIDEO TO GET PREPARED for what you will expect. The PvP...again, look no further than this wonderful Youtube video.

IF you are currently playing this game, you understand 100% what this youtube video has to say.

IF you are CONTEMPLATING PLAYING, this video is for you.

If you have NEVER played, this is for you. LISTEN CLOSELY! I recommend turning the sound to the max on your PC. If you had headphones, put them on NOW and CRANK UP the volume!

Here it is:

starwars .. lasers...  He was a Vanu im sure ;)

That is actually another flaw in the system. The game has a 3 faction system. Better of ignoring the one every one makes fun of. Roll blue or red, but good god stay away from purple unless you want to be looked down upon. The stats of servers usualyl reveal the Vanu as last place... sad kind of, just make a game, 2 factions. HAve a blast.

Y U no learn SONY?

WOW

PS2!

First experience: Had to wait 3 days as EU client was bugged. PEople said there was a way to hack the .ini file on the US steam DL to openthe EU serves...but you lose all after they fix EU. So they fix it 3 days later:

1) First foot patrol expereince: Die. You will start off dropped in after a story cut scene, SOME REASON they drop you in right at an enemy base and 1 shot dead. SO you start a SECOND TIME back at your base...the real game begins (the hek SONY?) - After that odd start, I am no surronded by fellow foot troops all AFK. That is right, 50 or so men just hanging out what looks to be the rainbowiest techno room ever. Even if the chicks are there, the chick models are super manly. They did not change the body models for women.... So ok, lets move, big airships everywhere and cmputer stations to spawn one...no...I just want to get feel for combat, so I press M for map. I notice I can auto hop right into combat...but, I prefer to feel out the controls on foot. Ill walk.

As soon as you walk it (long way to go) there are aparently no life players that rolled sniper just waiting for you to walk out of the base shields....that is right, they are balls deep in your territory somewhere in the mountains just sitting there waiting for noobs to walk out not in armor...wow. OK, avoid that and it is time to auto spawn into their territory..

2) Dead again, you are sniped. HMMMM sniper does seem to have an advantage, an OP Advantage, as well, natrually it is an open world map, and since it lacks boulders and trees and objects (or absolutely useless), you are open game to sniper, so that forced me to LEARN ARMOR!

3) Got in a truck...it has 2 GIANT guns...sadly, this is strange warfare of the future so SONY pissed on all the details like caliburs. I THINK I am shooting 50 round cals, but not sure. BF free to play even gets this right. This game feels to child star wars like "here is a gun, now shoot lasers!" and it doesnt matter whos better unless it is a death star.... So that felt uneventful, and I just ended up sitting there picking off a few lost souls on dirt bikes.... and a few hits on flying objects, but im to weak for a full kill, id have to reload my truck mounted gun 6 times to do anything really threatful SIGH.

4) So I go it on foot, but this time more organized. If I die, may as well die together right? So I random squad up to more guys AFK. The lag fest and what seems hak fest was way to apparent. Guys half buried in the ground terrain. Guys shooting through walls of nature. Guys blinking in and out of existence but landing hits on you. Full invisibility (I think that is a class trait). Just not fun. All that in close quarters or open world. NOthing had a "lets strategicly stay here and provide cover fire. IN FACT THAT IS KEY ELEMENT MISSING, NOTHING felt strategic. Just sort of CIRCUMSTANTIAL. Like, oh, your in the open on ahilll, well I have a dirt bike so in this case, I speed past you hop off and shoot you. Again, Squads in BF2 were x1000000 more strategic than this pile of mastadon dump.

5) I saw CB video of guys in organized tank columns etc. THAT MIGHT work if you and homies all have L33T pcs all on same super fast connection all in synch...but your adversary, and the F2P model doesnt leave that a big choice. It is more like, AFK party, or exploit party (LOTS OF GUYS hiding shooting each other, then reserecting each other to farm points. Technically it is illegal....HAHA good luck finding these guys hiding miles deep ina canyon)

6) ALLOT MISSING.. IT felt flat. Not exciting, not exhilerating. NOt fun. Just flat. I mean, with all the models to learn from, big hint on games like BF franchise, the direct open world strategic competitor, I am shocked they fail so much. ESPECIALLY after taking players money. And poor EU that got shafted for paying for garbage for 3 days.

7) I tryed approaching this game from an mechanical point of view, Armor style play. The big galaxy class ffighters await at base to air lift 12 slots worth of seats. They are patient and it shows tact...but sitting in front of 50 AFKers with 1 guy hoping in every 10 min....that is 12 seats x 10min = 120 min of sitting and waiting for a full bird to take off...so I left and hopped into a light fighter, an airborn bird with 3 seats, all gunners.... Die at base border, cant target a thing due to lag or horrid hit box structre, or the fact my GIANT 50+ calibur guns do 2% damage on a guy on a dirt bike....YEAH that feels real...REAL STUPID.

I am uninstalling. IT just fails on every bench mark. Close combat sucks. not at all like those epic flag wars in BF Free2pay. LArge map warefare fails, as auto spawn and armor and snipers fill the voids of MEHness. base capturing is not feeling fun or rewarding. The death rate (you die 2 shots on foot, you die when noob team spawns something on you, you die for breathing, you die for loading in, you die because oyu are alive) is to high, and reward of kills to low. Even you pwn someone, the feel of reward is small, like, you may as well be shooting a wall, because your kill really doesnt matter on the gran scale of things. So it is like a large open game of QWARP...just try and move and not die...even if your team is winning you know your lame ass was not the guy difusing things...it just is re-inventing a wheel that doesnt need reinventing. IT should have copied the wheel, and just put different color spokes in between to stand out. DERP!

Because after I played CB, I warned all the Fan Bois they sound silly over hyping the game. They just trolled me, and usually this site banned my account for 2 weeks and removed or blocked my threads. Even though THE SAME OR OTHER critics were writting here...or even though the trolls used super nasty language, they prefer to cover up the truth and promote fan boi trolls. Any ways... Read and weep. I think this far down the road every one knows this game has flopped already.

http://my.mmosite.com/2281165/blog/item/death_of_an_industry_or_why_isnt_anyone_playing_guild_wars_2.html

"Guild Wars 2 was not the revolution it was supposed to be, I don't care what sites like MMORPG.com says. They can tout the success of the game all they want, but I see parallels  to titles like The Old Republic and Age of Conan. Both of those had great first time sales and the community proclaimed them to be huge hits. Both of those faded quickly, were relabeled failures, and repackaged as free to play titles.

At least GW2 did away with the monthly fee to begin with. Yet, it still feels like no one wants to play the damn thing already. Everyone bought it because they believed someone finally got it right, and while they made progress, they did not break the glass ceiling.

Most, if not all MMO's, do see a drop in player activity after that first month. Once the newness wears off people go looking for the next big thing, and the real testament to a games life span is how many people come back. I have yet to see a single friend log in in weeks, and I've checked multiple times a day just to see for myself if they do. "

ahahahahha

You wont lag more. Dont listen to the dial up losers. I play so many games from Paris France that are US. I never lag and I pay for standard net connection.

I even play FPS in Russia with horrible ping, but cna make top 5 list.

The big problem is that sometimes in MMORPG there are events that require you to log in to participate. IF you are asleep at 4am while the US is awake playing...then there is conflict.

ALSo this ist he MAIN reason there are different servers:

MORE LANGUAGE PACKS = MORE CASH/bigger audience.

They ahve to translate the game into the language pack several times for German and French players. So this takes longer to cole out with updates. All the buttons, text, everything, has to be re written.

Then the cash shop. EU has more value in the currency at this time tha us dollars. So they have to tweak everyting. EX:  1 eu = 2dollars  US; so if there is an item for 1 dollar US I can but it wih 50 cents EU. So they like to seperate it for greedy cash money pig reasons. And yes, when a game is big enough (LOL at this game. It does not support hte large open worlds that require localised servers) it needs localisation for stability...Or just invest in good servers....

Ignore this guy. He trolls ultiple games and threads with negativity and trolling.

Actually this is a critical analyisis that is taught  in Frehsman and Sophmore level college. I suggest checking it out.

In highschool it starts with speech and or debate, but subject matters compared to one group and another are pretty much essential formulas for essays.... I see no insults here but half oppinionated remarks mixed and backed by facts.

In fact I see X1000 troll threads crafted up here, and in comparison with mine; mine is fairly mild.

Truth hurts most people though and they prefer short sentences with

"OMG th1s game is L33T and Ill play it forever HEART!"

:0

I forgot to mention; when I got into wow; I never wrote or went to forums. Not even blizzards. I was so Involved in the game there was just no attraction to it.

I notice now so many threads of GW fanbois here; and in other games. If I go to Vanguard forum; for example; everyone mentiones GW2 at least once. "Oh this game was good, but now that I am in GW2"....

Really? GW2 is so good that you are trolling Vanguard forums??? LOL!

Apparently a little problem there in the community. It is like the husband that says he is happy in life with his kids and wife as he downs a his 10th bottle of vodka and will cry himself to sleep. Keep telling yourself that fanbois,

So, as all the gamers in the community know, and those that got to participate in the Closed Beta; GW2 was an over hype (on a fanboi level) and played out mediocrely. BUT with good results!

Here is why, but first some GW history.

Back in the day when EQ was the main MMORPG and people had no idea what MMORPG stood for as they browsed GameStops isle and saw "SONY - EQ - +10 mmorpg" they picked it up and baught it and dialed up or cable modem into to instant death and cofusion (or they adapted and hard core mmorpg fan is created).

WoW came out and created a socailly fun wonder land to run around and could appeal to solo rpgers and mass rpgers. And sometimes other sorts of creatures, most notably your 12 year old daughter.

So, inbetween those two realms of death and your 12 year old daughter, GW came out, and wow;  something with humanoind graphics, great 3D rendering and decent rpg game take! Not to in depth. Move from this side of the map to that side. And if you cant, group up. And when you arrive, and are leveled up from the voyage, we have some pvp for you! In fact...that is all we have for you. In fact, we don't care that skills are basic, classes are just combat designed; and we took the Role playing (class support) out and just handed you levels; eyecandy, and pvp. It is the altenative MMORPG (or FAILMANS mmorpg as I like to say), well it is instanced so mmo HUB of villages; and RPG game world; sort of the games we call "action" today like dragons nest etc...

Here we are 2012; And these king comanies are failing. Blizzard outright said; "your buying daiblo 3 half baked, and not to out standard of a good game...but here it is. BUY IT" you baought it, fanbois cried mmorpg killer, and look now, it is quiet land.

GW2 never announced "revolutionary" this or that. They simply said, we are creating an open world guild wars. Now that means look at GW1; this "alternative" means YOU CAN max level by harvesting. You don't need class support, and the onything moving over one area to the next is a group of random pvp events. Quests are dull and nto revolutionary. DE are the only thing profitable over main story. The focus for jumping puzzles cut the other potential for flying mounts (admited by staff), and they kind of were like, well, we have a following so we wil do it.

Skipping more excuses lets re read my intro to this thread: I siad It launched and it is a good thing. Why?

The filter effect! All of the 12 year old daughters (non skilled ones) and ex wow bois hopping titme to title; and full believers and QQers, carebares; etc... all have FILTERED out of my current mmorpg and into GW2. I cannot thank Arenanet enough!

Please keep them busy with failman content!

The next step? F2P market is always adapting. The tactic is "take a great feature and saturate the larket with it". So, targetless commbat is picking up. I just got out of EU closed beta for RaiderZ and there was already X1000 potential than GW2 including: Free open combat on monsters who react intelligently to your moves and fall apart; you can pick up their pieces and fight others with it. - Crafting, with plans and materials (not like GW2) - Beautiful graphics, with great story! I used ancient stones to transmorph into an ancient statue thing to fight these baddies in a livign zone. - PvP is epic and rewarding - etc etc... - group feeding. - Class game play (I will admit a little less emphasis on FULL class;) - etc.. Between the two closed betas of GW2 and RaiderZ I was shocked to find RaiderZ blowing GW2 out of water, and not just oppinionatied review but with factuall more living character choices.

That is future. The things that exist today that already hav emore content and depth than GW2 is Forsaken World. Hourly and weekly events. Full open world. Class supported groups. etc. etc. just an all around open full package of content. No level cap rush = you level is just a number that vanashes in your mind and you just enjoy the challenges and your class and your character. Its only negative point is that the content has not expanded, but if you schedual the events, there is so much to do and earn that no one would be ready for an expax right now unless they nerfed the leveling curb and goodies drop.

So.... There its. In summary: Thanks GW2 for acting like a filter. Good in depth games are coming out and others already exist. GW was ok; and has that special mmorpg player feel to it. And GW2 stepped up and took that further. Everyone deserves a home and I am happy the fanbois have theirs.

Problem is you are just another immature idiot that gets filtered in GW2.

This game is not trolled but REVIEWED with facts. I quit closed beta and tested OB and quit as well because it did nothing well and screwed up several things and well just is not worth the time and effort. I have a way better experience in my current Top 3 F2P mmorpg and this is just another title out there. Nothing special.

It did, however, filter all the nabs out of my mmorpg. All the QQrs, ex wowers, and other fail mmorpgers have migrated your way. ahhahaha; the mmorpg community has actually improved thanks to gaywars 2!

[mod edit]

"How many launch days for other games were low level quests impossible because quest mobs would  be wiped out by masses of new players?  More than I can count!" You must have one finger to count with because there was only one game that did this. Lineage 2 at F2P launch. OTher games that have gridnable mobs are already notorius and shut down like 2moons... But that is comparing apples and ORanges.

The author posted you dont worry of people stealing your exp and items??? What? That is a problem in what other games? And if it iexists in games; like the chance to drop an armor pice in PWI, that is called CHALLENGE! that is not wow. That is hard core. That creates compition on a whole new level! SOme people like it, others dont; but the epicness of deuling the guy that called you noob, and then have a 5% chance his chest piece drops is rewarding. But sure, some people cry, so we got other games like aION where you can openly pvp epicly and keep your armor. So WHAT IS NEW here? Oh yeah...NOTHING!

[mod edit]

The launch attracts millions. Most launches do. That will dwindle, later, but I Wish you all good luck for those who did not taste beta. GW has been and always will be the failmans MMORPG alternative. Something EASY to feel good. ORiginal GW gave those people who couldnt handle EQ something to do until Wow came out. WoW came out and GW kept a fan base. Because GW was still EASIER to play than WoW.

PErsonally I Am happy GW2 gonna filter out all those: "power level me please" - "I cant find it" - "I just made a group of level 40 for a 60 instance" annoying players out of my current mmorpg and put tham all in that GW2 title! YES! I cant wait! a home for all those fail players!

People jumped onthe bandwagon of this game thinking it will beam them to some mmorpg heaven. The fact is, everyone thought that of Star wars; and look now; it is about to go F2P and labaled a single player RPG experience.

Guildwars has been and always will be the mmorpg players ALTERNATIVE to real MMORPG. [mod edit] Meaning they took class work out and just gave a graphically stunning environlent. YOu spam attacks and pots and bam. No need to act like you a support or damage role (RPG). Just need to help others spam in a corner of pvp events.

This reflects GW1 when it launched. Back then MMORPGS like EQ1 and what not were hardcore. WOW just came out and GW was a competitor. People went to wow because they had class challenge to figure out. PEople went to GW because it was EASY. Instanced PVE, and MOBA like PVE. GW2 is no different except they removed the instancing and replaced it with a world map and added dumb puzzles like "jump from brick to brick" or "join the random fight here". It will fail as people move up the map leaving new crowd by passing the pvp stuff. Exactly like GW1 where all top level where in the "snowy map part" LOL

I forgot to mention, well by not mentioning it I sort of did mention it. The sniper has no class item. Another flaw in class attempt and for the poor snipers. They have NOTHING int he slot for class item. No radar support, no nothing. It is like the bare bones class LOL I hope they update it.

Also, to clarify the Engineer. He has a Claymore (traditionally for snipers) and an Armor repair kit which is wierd. Because the game doesnt have an armor meter and you die way to fast to ever be concerned with the level of your armor. No one uses this feature. I am not sure if it is for future updates or just design flaw, but as it is there seems to be a huge conflict with making squad based classes in a frantic twitch shooter. I realy hope they smooth these out.

I just got out of a 4 hour session and noticed a few more unfair flaws with the knife and slide. Some guy slides up he takes half of your clip to the chest and knifes you. I hope they fix that

I also noticed your claymore doesnt trip on friendly troops, but will suicide yourself after a few seconds or on next respawn. I found it flawed I had a new claymore in hand and my old one sits there and becomes dangerous to only myself and the enemy...WTF/ Again; a sort of "how do we design a game".

Last but least, edge clipping. Spray a corner with fire and theres a little bit that goes through the wall and hits you. Kind of like wtf....

Our sniper getting hit. We are at spawn. This poor guy probably wont find a decent sniping area until we push forward. Most snipers are like this. I feel bad as this game doesnt have good map design for this class.

http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii279/Nanbo554/Warface/ingame.jpg

Hi all, so Crytek3 enginges Warface has launched in Europe pulling in a large crowd. I am currently playing and would like to give a heads up in a small review.

First I will talk about game setup:

The game is in rumor to be published in US and EU due to its popularity in Russia. I am Americain studying and living in France Europe and thought I would give it a try since I am sort of in the region. I found the website. A maim.RU gaming site that features mostly Perfect world and Aeria game titles that we are used to. (PErfect World, Shyia, etc). So heads up one of the publishers just might snag this game.

In Google Chrome foreign websites can be translated into whatever you want so I made Russian into French and signed up. Easy as it just asks for email and used name in forums. The Email DOES NOT have to be verified. and you it installs a game launcher. And your sign in for all games is just your email and chosen password for the site.

Ok, all files downloaded for the game (fast DL for me); are in ENGLISH. YUP. Although published in Russia, This is a English produced game. The only reason the game is in Russian is a language pack found in C:/Documents/yourname/Appdata/Local/Mail.RU/Warface/Game data -

There is a website I found that has an english pack. I found out how to install it from youtube. YOU downl load it and copy and paste the contents into the foder above. Launch game...all done. I Used You tube to learn all that. Under 2 min. I just typed: Warface english pack. And bam a video with website link to get the file etc::

So yeah, the game runs super smooth in English and have no translation faults except in game voice commands and of course personal chat. I lag slightly but nothing game breaking unless I enter a room with some dude from fat North Russia. Also, the Russian keyboard layout denies english name creation for Character so you have to use numbers, my current ingame name is something like 6666...

THE GAME:

Ill start with Grpahics since that effects Character creation: AWESOME

Crytek3 really pulled it off. I play on a laptop of  I3 intel and ATI RADEON HD5470. Not super cool, but runs games. I run this game a little sluggish in high end mode but still can run it. I get faster reaction when I tune the game down to MEdium and then I have best performance at LOW. HOWEVER, LOW on this game looks friggin amazing. I will upload photos as a reply soon. Animations are great; phyisics are great; environments top notch etc. I will explain more on graphics each step here in the review:

The Character Creation: More than 6 face models to chose from I believe it was aroun 12. They all look a little European. It is just the faces you chose otherwise the body is the same for all players. The two sides, red or blue, simply depends what team you get autobalanced too. So if you join a gale on blue side, that faction is called Warface. The other Red side is called Blackrock. So you can test your character in a blue or red outfit. Nothing to fancy there except the detail of the character is pretty darn good! the model of the character is well rendered and the only direct compition I can think of is maybe AVA online. But of course this is way more enhanced.

   - Chose character name move on:

THe Menus and Game modes and MAPS:

This game does not have that horribe rats nest user interface of Blacklight. This is good typical FPS menus system. At tthe top, Shop - Storage - Website links - followed by Settings - help and exit buttons

Screen shot below. What I liked was that I could switch between channels and rooms and modes all in one click. AT one menu.

The Game modes Are Team Deathmatch - Free for all - Capture and hold way points - Steal bomb - Kill all alies or call in airstrike mode . I think I am missing one.... The game modes are similar to AVA. IF you like the elimination rounds, capture and hold, or simply frag and respawn...this game has it all. Nothing to new except the PVE features that nobody played so I could not get in. BUT it read and seems allot like AVA PVE stuff which is just simly CO OP survive the map sort of thing.

MAPS - Graphical environments AWESOME. Although not allot of choice right now the maps are diverse enough to keep you satisfied. The maps are inbetween and WARINC and I would say more on WARINC/ That is. IT IS NOT like AVA, and all the other FPS where you zerg a hall way and whoever is faster wins the shoot out. NOPE not at all. IT is more like WARinc where you have a map and if you look in one direction or go same path twice the enemy could be in a number of positions that you cant really predict the battle or the corner even though you may have memoriwed the map. I like Blacklight and War inc for this. They diversify the maps enough so that you cant predict the batle.

Now that said, Blacklight and War inc use SIZE t achieve this. That is; big open space to run to and chose a hiding spot. IF you played Blacklight you know that fell bro when you run for over 5min in the map just trying to scope out find some one, and then be back stop or taken out and you think "urgg..so much walking but hey it is better than zerg fest" and you get this tacticle feel of skill for the game Blacklight uses multiple levels to spread the enemy fronts out

. OR in WARinc where the use a large space with not allot of levels vertical but more hiding spots horizontal. That is, you can look in one direction and the enemy could be on that one ground level behind a rock, a tree; the roof; the house. You never know untill you scope it out and take a few observations. Again; these two game rely on allot of space to diversify the map.

WARface BALANCES this perfectly. Off hte bat on teh spawn there are basically several routs you can run too, and this inlcudes at least one level up. Now it does feel a bit zergy or pathed at spawn but JUST enough choices to keep it not to predictable. You always have at least one level up to go wnd maybe 2 or 3 in a sniper tower a little farhter on. I noticed to get higher on a tower object in maps you would first have to pass the front line of combat points or find a way to sneak in. The maps for team death match were wearhouse of course; a farm with more corn to run through and some criss cross brock workfor strategic hiding and a sort of abondoned army base map. There are others in other modes but those are the top 2 played.

NOW this topic kind of changes to PHYSICS engine and graphics or gameplay if you will because it is in relation to the environment:

Climbings walls is used with space and some objects will have an indicater arrow that strobes 3 seconds before dissapearing. If you miss you can just test out an object to see if it is climb able by hitting space. The climb is reserved for little boxes or to hop over a waist size wall. And is executed with space bar again. Now... to climb up to higher things, usually reserved for ladders in most FPS, the buddy system is in place and the ladders removed in this game.

To get up on a roof or second story of something, there is a green animation that dissapears after a few seconds of two guys holding hoisting eachother. This means; you go up to the wall press E and your character puts his gun away, kneels down and holds out his hand with TWO fingers stinking out. You are in the position to HOIST some one up. IF a buddy sees you there on your knees waiting to hoist him up, he will run up to you and press E; then you throw him up the wall and he in turn automatically looks down and hoists you up. So the BOTH of you are now on the roof in one animated moveent that akes about 4 seconds. You are vulnerable to attack if not defended. You cna snap out of hoist mode and whip your gun out but most cases I just died if the enemy turned the corner and found me hoisting some one up the wall.

Also, if you press E a second time you lower a finger and just have 1 finger out that means you hoist people up the wall but they dont automatically hoist you. Laking you a hulan hoister. You sit there ready to hoist the next dude. So you can sit there as a human ladder throwing guys up the wall. I like this idea but I have a few problems.

1) Noobs might bypass you and you just sit there wiating to be hoisted up a wall as people decline your offer nad run past you. SO TEAM WORK is emphasied with is a cool thing, but I felt like placing a ladder sometimes is better.

2) The vulnerability is a little rediculous and the fact that most things to hoist are RIGHT at spawn. There was no need to use this feature elsewhere. Some time it got sensitive and you fell off. but it is like falling off a ladder in other games. Annoying like "who put butter on that rung'!! So the ladder was not perfected int his game just replaced...by YOU! It realyl felt like "look what we designed, it is cool so use it here" not "this is stratigic so use it when needed"

3) You can ONLY do this on certain areas not other things. IT made no logical sense I could scale up a roof at one area but couldnt get up on a wall or roof in another. So whe pre select the things we climb with a hoist feature when all it does is replace ladders pre selected??? Really kind of bummed about it

YOu can power slide in this game. YOu run with a sprint that has a power bar so cant run forever. Then if you press F you slide on a leg like in baseball. This is tactical but not game breaking. That is, not EVERYone is sliding around to avoid bullets like bunnyhoppers in other games. I felt it more of an advantage to slide under the cover of a wall instead of poke my head out. It was faster then a crawl and kept my head down to slide along a barrier to get to other side.  YOu can shoot in a slide and it is animated really well. Everytime I tried to abuse the slide and slide into enemy territory; i got shot and didnt last long. I used it to slide back and forth a large door some times, and would supress enemie with my confusing sliding, but it lasted for about 4 seconds LOL! I did have one game where an enemy ran up with a gun, took to a slide in a split second, to avoid our shots at point blank; then stand up in a fraction of that second and knife us.... This was either haks or pro or abuse, but if he is pro, he got away with a quick cheap kill. Before being taken out. Gun battles only last as long as your strategic cover does.

Like AVA the gun fights are about 2-4 bullet hits and your dead.

GUNS Class; and CASH

CLass - 4 classes. MEdic - Assault - Sniper Engineer.

LEft click shoot Right click scop in on all guns for a better shot. PICK UP DEAD guys guns on ground regardless of class. But it usually never has enough ammo.

The game shines here. YOU are important in your role. A good team is a good balanced team. You can see who is what before and in game and can change class at each spawn. So you can form a team as needed. Not every is on the same page however and I found it sad a squad based game did not support more features for squad formations but whatever. EVeryone starts out like all games. MAIN - PISTOL - KNIFE - NADE - CLASS ITEM

STart pack is

MEDIC = Shotgun  etc. MEd pack to self heal and heal others and Defibulator for battle res. NOW the med pack and defibulater are charged to 100 so if you heal some one with a pack the charge lowers then increases, so you never run out, you just need to wait afew seconds before the charger fills up. The med packs charge fast and I never had to wait to recharge. The defibulator was another story it has a 100 second count, so every res you had to wait 100 seconds to refil that is 1and half minutes. IF you switch to medpack before defibulator could charge it pauses at that mark. So if I RES some one; and the defib drained to 0 I wait 30 seconds it is at 30 charge then switch to med pack for about 5 min running around healing people, then back to Defib to res...it paused at 30 seconds so I had to sit and wait for the full charge to 100 before Zappig someone to life.

PLAYERS can res INSTANTLY at death or wait about 20 seconds for MEdic on ground...ok; you see the math now? 100 second charge that pauses if switched out and players have a 20 second decision. Most players CLICK happy, so I got pissed running up to the dead, they click spawn and I waste my time and am now vulnerable as a medic relies on his teams for cover fire. My cover fire just spawned at base because he couldnt wait 3 seconds...pisses me off but emphasiwes TEAM play and coordination again...however, if your teams noob it is frustrating. I found myself following snipers usually and just camping with them. Resing them over and over and healing. That sounds difficult for the enemy but there is ALWAYS a fighting chance. IT takes srategy beain work. NOtice that same sniper int he same place. OBvious medic there; toss grenade take them all out.

ASSAULT: M16 fully auto and his kit is the AMMO box. HElp yourself or help others with ammo. Based on the how quickly you die, i RARELY used the ammmo box. I did notice the ASSAULT is more of a surpress class. his next purchase weapons include light lachine guns and then after that several more advanced assault rifles. You can play both, I always play assault and on front line no problem; but your CLASS ITEM did not support this kind of gameplay. I would have been happier to have the choice to have a CLASS item like 2 nades or Flashbang instead of ammo box as assault as you are usually dead before running out of ammo UNLESS you nest down and just give suppression fire. I LIKE that idea that supression fire is used and tactical as it kills the zerging of FPS, however the assaults unlcokable guns are strong and people basically run dodge and cover and not nest. I did see the ability to be very stratigic though and I think if this class was tweaked with engineer it would work better.

Engineer - To be honost I did not play it allot. He had submachine gun and CLAYMORE and some kind of line I did not figure out. This class felt strange and felt more like an assault class. Where you plae a claymore, and play cat and mouse with the enemy making them follow you to the lovely little claymore on the ground. In the Engineers world I felt like the enemy players were like vehicles where I had to guess the path, lay a bomb; and then finsih him off if not dead with my rat blaster. Felt lie this class could be tweaked with Assault to give it a more support role.

Sniper. - IS a sniper. Long range scop. Nuff said. I felt bad as the sniper didnt really blend to wel with the environment. I felt everyone was modeled GREAT that not one class suit gave an advantage over the other. Look at my screens below. Notice the uniforms standard are already pretty damn good. MAkes all of us hard targets. Not just the sniper and the sniper didnt really have an advatage with his suit. So he just had his funny looking hat to look funny I guess LOL. Sniper action typic. They have less places to snipe than AVA I felt. I felt that was the LARGEST fallback with maps. Snipers sort of disadvantage. They basically had to stand in place or with the other guys being a sort of combat sniper, if you will. I think this class is victim to map design. But oh well; there is enough to fullful your roles need and believe me you are not worthless! A good sniper changes the scenario entirely and causes panic.

CASH! PLay games earn in game cash. I didnot like it. WHY?

Cash is earned in bonus if you kill faster...but the game is not a zerg speed kill. IT is balanced between tactic and assault. MEaning a medium to slow pace ensures victory while a zerg the hall way ensures death. WHY AWARD ZERGING if you cant do it? Cash is a grind. Most guns to buy PERMANANTLY in the shop are 2K miniu,. If you play and rank last as a suck noob you get like 3 cash. Play good you get 200 highest I saw. Average for top players is 100 cash. I averaged about 20-50.

You can spend on weapons; or item in item slot like extra nade. smoke nade; suits for faster relaod etc. and tons of ther really expensive things and some need repairs So to deack out a character and keep up with it would mean you play for some time. Not over kill, but the weapons super limited. As it is, in comparison to AVA, where you work and work and have gun decisions...or other games with lots of guns and customizations...this game lacks. It is very early launch so I give it that as an excuse but as of now. I really forget or dont care that I have guns to unlock. It is about 4 total for every class and slightly better or different, but its gonna be another month minimum. Also a few require rank up and that is slowww. EXP is slowwww. But not abnormal or game killing.

There is real money transactions and nothing game breaking. Just a few weapon models and designes for your guns.

The medic can purchase with in game money several types of assault and shotgun models. I am looking forward to the asasult unlock as I hate my shotgun as a medic. SInce you follow your team mates and rely on them the shotty is good for close scuffles; but sinceI camp with snipers I sit and wait and feel useless, so I would like to unock the assault to pop up and take a few shots as I Camp.

The Assault can purchase several light machine guns and then some shnazzy assault rifles.

The Engineer I did not look at allot but several sub machinegun models.

Same with sniper. The most notable are assault and medic purchases as they can change roles. AGAIN sniper and engineer stayt he same just purchase different models while Assault can stick out as front man assault or supressed light machinegunner while medic can provide close encounter support or purchase mid assault. And again; I feel some changes there would be cool

I think that covers it. There are in game commands etc and a built in voice chat.

In conclusion I give it an 8/10 as is and when updated 9/10

Why? Because it is AWESOME game that balances between high action and strategy thinking without hurting the guys that like zerging or tactical game play! The two can meet here and have allot of fun. Graphics... just rock. Physics rock. Nothing felt clunky or dumb or broken. I never saw teh inside of someones body as graphics meshed. It was solid; realistic fun! and all on the low settings!

I only ding it on Not EXCEPTIONAly original and I felt like AVA in allot of ways.

CLasses felt usefull sometimes but not all the time. I think there are confusions on how to approach this game and it is evident int he presentation of ing ame cash and some class awkwardness.

I also do not like that it is ALL english and fully launchable in US but I know the greedy folks are trying to fit this in their wallet scheme before releasing it.

I have some ther little gripes. I have missed allot of cool stuff too For example, in the airstrike mode there is destructable terrain from airstrike WHY NOT ADD DESTRUCTABLE TERRAIN for explosives in all other modes???

The hoisting people up is cool graphical experience but other than that it is PISS POOR at replacing the basic ladder....

etc etc... Hope you will enjoy it at release! Ill be here awhile as it is a great balance for me and am fed up with todays titles. AVA Is ok but to zergy for me and it is changing owners so often I have no idea if my account even works any lore and I dont want to start over. Blacklight is good map system but grpahics demanding and lots of hacks. Like in AVA; if there was a hacker in this game he is at a disatvantage because a hacker can place an impossibly good shot but cant take out a whole cooridnated team.

What is funny is that I use real time marketing figures and facts. You use speculation that all websites use. "revolutionary combat" - "Most played game" are all catch slogans of hello kitty and all other games out there. Glad your comment reveals to the actual mmorpgs what kind of community is going to be in this title. Helps and supports ly argument entirely LOL

The problem with your brain and all GW fans/

GW franchise was designed as an alternative RPG as almost all RPGS were difficult. From EQ to bauldurs gate. So GW came out with this Single player game with co op game play that meets in an MMO hub village. In featured more like an action instanced game.

Scoot ahead to GW2 and it is the SAME principle. Just open world. The people that fail at MMORPGS and RPGS finally have a place to call home. You can reach MAX level in GW2 without killing a single enemy. You are forced into areas or stuck without continuing. YOu have no need for role. Potion gobeling taking its roots to action GW1 = no need for class. Sure there is a touch of class but that takes ALLOT of fun out of the idea of RPG (role playing...playing our role).

I only agree with one thing. It is different. The market is saturated with so much role play people are numb now and want to skip and hop to the next thing. I notice 99% Of the community here are ADD game hoppers or ex wowers looking for that fix that promises a new game each content update (what wow didnt do, and when it did it was to late).

I am playing a great F2P title. I pay nothing, close to max level, and in my achievements log there is a marker for level 200. Right now cap is 80. If you measure the last update that increased the cap VS the upcoming updates to get us to 200, that is about 10 years down the road of content. I am content. My class rocks. I cant level easy, but its not difficult. No grind. EVENTS EVERY HOUR! Cash shop 100% cosmetic and interchangable and tradeable with in game awards and gold.

I Can go on and on. My wheels are not broken so I have no need to play a new game that failed at trying to reinvent it. And yes I played GW2 beta.

Brain fail. [mod edit] So many games have mounted combat. Forsaken World has implemented mounted combat. Several thousand titles just came out where you ride mounts as a main combat tool. Argo online...etc..ETc...sigh
