I found it so lucky that past tera testers have a better chance to play in most of the betas that will be happening

Speaking of engineers I really like the versatility that the class could bring in the battlefield, all sorts of chaos will occur!

Before I start, I have to say I was very excited when I saw this because it was exactly the opposite of the polls I made!

Alright, I have to say currently all races are lovable. . . for now.  haha

Currently my least favorite class is a thief, mainly because I play Warrior/Guardians/Paladins and I foundd thieves sometimes to wanting to do the job of a warrior which in all instances I played in they just can't.  Also, lately people have been complaining about thiefs not having stuns and for all those people who want more stuns/immobles for thiefs, think about it this way... you guys have initiatives.  Their is no cooldown on your skills.  Immoblization/stuns + no cooldown = ________.      

The new update just came in to anyone who hasnt voted yet, how will this affect your vote?!

It's great to see a nice balance between the races, though I have to say the sylvari has surprised me

 I totally agree.  Combat should feel fluid like in one motion instead of being cut off in noticable segments.  This was a much needed update.

My problem was in 1 of the videos there's a like teleport-gate back and forth... What does teleporting have to do with mind-control/effecting? And then there was something that looked like a big lightning-like blast. I can understand illusions, fear, sleep, stun, invisibility, mind-attacks, those kinds of things make sense. A mesmer isn't just about mind control/effecting. A mesmer was a class thats based off an illusionary trickster. They  technically control the forces of chaos wihch could explain the lightning like blast you mentioned.  The class was made to control the pace of the battle at hand.  As for the teleportation just think of it as extreme surrealism.

Techinically some places would be instanced in the game just for you kind of how guild wars has it in your own copy of the map.  But for zones that they made it purposefully to see other people its not possible to make a incalculable amount of copies of the same zone becuase it takes up memory in the server they use.  It really isn't  I see where your coming from about having multiple servers for pve pvp and rp.  I think the reason they want to keep it all together is because in the end its one whole experience they don't want people to just pvp in a server because it would ruin their work in making the stories because they want people to see the hard work they've done.  Vice versa they dont want just pve players not realizing the fun aspects of pvp, competitive in that hand, that many people enjoy. 

With most of us anxiously awaiting for the release of open beta and the full game itself.  Guild Wars 2 has grown such a large fan base by revealing new content month after month.  As many of us are excitedly waiting for arenanet to post updates about their game's status, many people have been leaving the hype train because fans feel like arenanet has been holding out in them.  The Guild Wars 2 fan base grows in a daily basis, however, they are loosing many fans including the players in Guild Wars 1, (yes, we all know Guild Wars 1 has a ridiculous amount of players that left the game)  Many of the fans are being lost to games that have been advertising/marketing more and seem to give more information about the game and having access to the playability.  i.e. Star Wars The Old Republic / Tera / Secret World etc.  What it is coming to is the question:  How will arenanet keep their core fans from drifting away compared to the games now.

They are looking great, Fire spec and a certain weapon load out looks right up my speed. I still have not researched the racials and all. What makes you think a necromancer or ranger, or even a ranged rogue would be played less compare to the other professions? I'll probably be maining as a mesmer and 2nd necro, so if necro isnt populating the server, then awesome to that.

The obvious guess is the poll on the first page, which is approaching a *decent* sample size.  Although, aside from the Mesmer, which is still garnering a lot of attention largely because it was the most recently announced profession (and a highly hyped one to boot,) the poll essentially suggests all professions will be played in fairly similar numbers.  For all intents and purposes, it will be impossible to distinguish between 10.2% and 12.8% in game.  

 Had I known the impact of the profession being released it might look totally different in the coming months for now, though I have to agree that the sample/ dynamics of the classes are looking pretty nice

They are just overhyped because we have been in a news drought for so long then we just randomly got a huge news drop (mesmer release)..... Don't get me wrong, i think mesmers are awesome and i am keen to play one, but i think that a lot of people are choosing mesmer in the poll because they were released a couple days ago =P

Not really, it's because Mesmer was a signature Guild Wars profession... and we all kinda *knew* they'd be in GW2 in some shape or form, we just waited for ANet's confirmation.

 I totally agree that we kinda new it was coming so its not really a surprise, although, I have to say maybe 5-2% may be from the hype lol
