Cheating is not an acceptable practice...

Its the nature of huamnity and it shines through on the internet, and has since the damn thing was created by Al Gore.

Cheating is what a large segment of our species does.  There's cheaters and then there's anti-cheaters, in this case the anti-cheaters are the game's developers who... believe it or not... do try to stop them.

It has to do with PVP, which is one of the things that needs to be removed from MMORPGs all together and be given their own games and their own little holes.

PVP should not be in MMORPGs.

the company obviously cares about their f'ing game.

they have to, its what generates their salaries. 

they don't WANT SW:TOR to become a failure, even if a bunch of nerds on this website do.

the money that goes into games like this (which there are a lot of games like this) should go rather to charities.

this is nothing but a waste of money.

You can go from one video game to the next looking for Female versions of races and species where you'd expect to find them and you just flat out won't.

I've had discussions about it with people here and there.  Such as, "Where are all the female Orcs and all the baby orcs in this community of 'evil bad creatures'?"

Companies just don't bother, is the plain and simple response to it.  For all manner of reasons, none of which are really fair or 'just'.

This is just further evidence that the days of true Beta testing MMORPGs is gone and now any idiot gets in and just thinks its a huge headstart on playing a Live game.

God I miss the old days of this gaming genre, when Betas were more respected by the players.

I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to MMORPGs.

But I can tell from the videos that Guild Wars 2 has more of the things that I like than any MMORPG to-date has had.

Thats enough hype for me, because i'm basing it off of my own desires.

That said, I'm not pre-ordering ANY game that doesn't have a release date.

None of your choices make any difference in that game, what so ever.

It looks like LARP nerds in some city park somewhere.

I don't really think the creator is that flexible.

Those faces are already in the models, it takes very little tweaking to achieve the results seen in that youtube video.

That said, the faces are beautiful, no mistakes there.

Generally, with a creator my top 3 female faces that I strive for are Aishwarya Rai, Kate Beckinsale and Teresa Noreen.

I just don't understand this game.

I picked it up for 7 bucks on Steam and man, the character creator was out-standing...  Captain's quarters are amazing looking.  The damn giant tv would shine and cause its lighting to reflect off the interior of the room, including my character.  Crazy good looking.

But then I start the tutorial, launch out into space and... pffffffffffffffart.   All my interest in the game goes away. 

The UI is confusing, the tutorial instructions are strange (best way I can think to describe it).

And I realize within a matter of minutes that this is what the whole game is.  Be a UPS Truck Driver... In Space.

Is AoC worth trying?

Last fall my NHL hockey team's website got rid of their Official Forums and told everyone to go to their facebook page from now on to talk about the team.

I can't believe soemone would complain about Age of Conan's graphics, honestly shocking.

The only thing I could say about its graphics is that AoC's female characters are ugly, both in body, animation, hair and faces.  Male characters look like they were created by a far more talented group of people than the female characters.

Thats it.  The rest of AoC is realy superb.
