 I think you are wrong on this.  Problem is that a lot of people cant get in or the game is unplayable.  When you advertise to buy me and play the beta.  I expect it to be 80-90% ready.   What percentage do you expect?  20 - 40%?

I still have error codes and have yet to play.  Support is not at its best.

I'm hugely anticipating Guild Wars 2.   Very much eager to play it, probably just as much as you are.

I, did, not, pre-order it.  Nor am I participating in these BETA TEST.

Why?  Because its not going to be a flawless experience.  Its, a, test.

And I don't feel like testing the game.  I will wait for a finished product.

The log in screen is nice, but really the only special thing is the music and it's simplicity.

Gamers used to treat Beta more accurately back in the early 2ks.

Guild Wars 2 has a lot of hype in this nerd circle.  But otherwise, its not very popular.

Its going to at least need a TV commercial to even achieve a bit of recognition outside of this place.

World of Warcraft is #1 and its going to stay that way.

I think MMORPG.com's Susie Ford exclaimed in one of their articles that she wasn't a fan of the game.

She being the only one.

they had a release trailer 2 or so months ago.

No matter what you post Mike you will get nothing but people crapping on the game, sad to say poeple really must had huge hopes for this game to be this angry, its a good thing that GW2 will cure cancer and world hunger or we would all be in a bad way.

 

Lol - I have yet to find a game people praise on here post release... mines small niche games.

 

Usually the more hate a game receives on here - the better game it is - minus SWG NGE and a few others of course.

 

LOTRO is one of the few that doesn't get bashed too badly that I was rank as a top 5 to 10 mmo.

 

So basically what you're saying is that your own claim is wrong because Lord of the Rings Online doesn't get bashed that much.

But i have not pre-ordered yet.

"Beta tests" do nothing for me.  I hate making a character only to have it deleted.

Well in SW:TOR you're Jim Carey and Ed Harris turned off the sky's rotation setting.

Its a cell phone game.

IT'd be the perfect game for sitting in an airport terminal waiting to board your flight.

I don't think I've ever felt this way about a game,

But I do believe that TERA's first... 10... or so levels are probably the worst part of the game.  I get a sense that the game gets a heck of a lot more entertaining as you go down it.  Which in MMORPGs.. for me... generally is the other way around.

Still not sure I'll buy it or not though... The character generation in the game was pretty disappointing... Can't even choose eye color? Its an odd generator for sure.

I'd like to sign a petition that makes petitions actually accomplish something.
